The "Mexican TV news" you showed wasn´t Mexican at all. It was a show called "Ocurrio así" (It happened like so) from Telemundo, an American network. Such a show was a pastiche of overblown and sensationalist news and mostly nota roja ( which reports only about deaths and killings). It was quite famous. Also, the picture from the album Matando Güeros was from a very sadly famous magazine called: ¡Alarma! If I remember correctly; It was a body that was found in a railroad track in México.

A metal band desperate to be real cartel members. Sometimes life hits you too hard- antics that not even rappers would stoop down towards. Still can't believe Jeff Walker played with them 😂

    Long live Juan Brujo
But have you heard their Macarena (Marijuana) parody?
I heard the severed head on the first album cover was a train victim. But all of the kilos de coca y negra on the back, those were just what they had on hand at the studio.
    Fuck it, homes, Brujeria lives!
