Philip has a heart the size of Texas, he walks the walk and talks the talk and very much puts his money where his mouth is. An astute gentleman of the highest regard with one of the loudest voices for the voiceless that I've ever had the privilege to hear. If there was ever the possibility to clone human beings It'd be wise to clone a few thousand of him.

Never live your life in the context of what others think. Nobody would want to trade lives with the animals they eat, yet we are judged for choosing to spare them. Put yourself in their shoes, and you will understand.

@@nervifanatiquedemicheldrac902 You do realise that the saying "put yourself in their shoes" doesn't literally mean anything to do with to do with shoes, right? it can be said about someone that doesn't have shoes.
"You're not a cow" Precisely, that's why you've got to "put yourself in their shoes" because if you were already a cow you wouldn't have to do that.

Truly, Philip Wollen, is a diamond soul reflecting on the things he witnessed and living with the pain felt by those animals has lead him onto the amazing path of speaking for them and those that have since follow those animals into the horror chambers of torture and death committed by men and women in slaughterhouses. To make a healthy and committed change as we all should do. Long may his efforts be remembered as he is awesome.

What a beautiful interview with a beautiful human being. Philip is so eloquent and along with my other 'guru' Peter Singer, is a wonderful advocate for the animals. I came across the word Ahimsa in the early 80s when I found a small book in a second hand bookstore called Ahimsa ( Dynamic Compassion ). At the time I had just become vegetarian and this gem of a book helped me on the path to veganism & animal rights. Keep up the great work Philip.

Since becoming vegan, just before my 80th birthday in March, and investigating the disgusting ways we use, maim, kill and consume the wonderful animals atrociously described as 'food', I have made a commitment to do everything I can, in my own tiny way, to defend animal rights.
My two f-book sites, into which I have been sharing and posting appropriate articles daily, are gradually getting increasing 'reach' numbers, and hopefully having some positive effects.

Sorry I couldn't take a photograph and video as it was in our school and in Indian schools it is not allowed to carry mobilephones .
But I tell You the whole incidence.
We got to know that he is coming to our school just 4 days before,he came on 20th Feb, our English teacher told us that this is going to be a grand occasion as Phillip woolen is an international personality , 'so You can prepare your questions regarding environment and animal welfare to ask to Phillip woolen as there would be a personal interaction with 12th grade students "
We all were so curious and on 19th Feb, I was researching about him on the web and this video is a part of it, I was searching something different to ask and then I learnt a new word "VAGON " ,I was surprised to hear that he doesn't take milk and tea ,then I prepared my question on milk which was "Why the animal products especially milk should be avoided and how is this in the favour of animal welfare? "
I reached to the school and I saw that our Sir was giving questions to the students to ask and most of them were related to religion and Islam, I stood up and opposed my teacher by saying that "Phillip woolen is an environmentalist and a vagon, not a religion related person ,all the students started 😁 and dispute between me and my teacher started and he said to me that do You have any question and and I said yes then he left our class.
When Phillip woolen arrived, he directly taken by our director Sir to the hall and we all class mates were there, I was on the first in my line, we all stood up and Phillip woolen opened his bag and gave two magazines to our director Sir which he put on the desk in front of us and I stood up and asked the question and then he answered the incidence happened in India with him 'the cow related, ' and then his assistant said to him to take other students' questions and Phillip said 'let me clear this young man's doubt.
He two times asked to us that is it boring You then we replied no sir,
Two or three questions more he answered then he had to go and for further queries, he said that we can go through the two magazines he had given to our Sir.
Phillip said that the most unhealthy people are US people and by 2048,the people won't reach their retirement age, .
When he was about to go, A girl promptly asked that "whom will You choose among an animal and a human"
He answered "that depends on the human, if that would be my grand father I will definitely not and if we are supposed to choose among animals and humans then I will choose animals because we humans are just 7billion on this 🌍 but the animals are more than 70billion" .
In the next period I was wondering about the magazines he put on the desk and when I went to the hall again, I found them on the same place and quietly took them both and put into my coat's pocket and I still have those both.
Thank You for reading this unique experience. This is an excerpt from that meeting.
He came to our school because our school has been donating millions of rupees since 12years and our director Sir is very renowned teacher of mathematics in our district.
this much amount of money our school donates each year because by doing so, the school gets rid from the government tax .
Previous year, DR Prakash Amte visited our school.
My school name is SND Public School, Palwal, Haryana, India.

No, I'm pure vegetarian and Brahman by cast ,though I totally oppose animal killing but I don't think that there is a necessity of stop drinking milk and milk products because we have a buffalow and we provide hygienic and nutritional diet and provide a shelter to it and it's little baby and drink the milk.
My question to You is that, the buffalo is getting everything except freedom (freedom is not possible also in this technical world, they may get caught by a butcher or another wrong hands or may die by suffering an accident) without struggle, is this not in the favour Of animal welfare?
Phillip said that he saw "a man forcefully milking his cow at her last moments as the cow was hit by a vehicle and lost her bone."
On this behalf, Phillip was saying but in our locality it is not so, the people take care of their pets so much.
In the two magazines, there are given some limitations dairy products and some hazardous effects on our health and You won't believe that the magazine refuses the fact that the people who consume dairy products have stronger bones, it is totally disgusting .
It's OK to oppose the animal killing for any purpose and work for their welfare but they should not oppose the ultimate facts.
We the people of India are so addicted to milk and milk products that we can't sleep nicely without a glass of milk.
Well, thanks for showing your interest.

@@Adhyatm4 There is no such a thing called western definition is different than the eastern definition when it comes to the word called, "MILK" .... If anyone has a mustard size of a brain would know the Milk is NOT a Vegetable or a plant source. It comes from a udder of a female cow. I came to realize yes in India those vegetarian people consume the cows milk. So in other words they are simply VEGETARIANS & NOT called VEGANS. As long as you consume any kind of Animal products, they cannot be called VEGAN. I hope this may clear your doubts, about the issue and may understand the difference between Vegetarian & the Vegan.
Then again, the Mother Cows Milk is for the nourishment of HER OWN BABY COW...and NOT for the grown up humans to indulge in for the sake of pleasing the palate. It's NOT a requirement but simply some people choose to do it, so it has become a moral choice & has created a massive Animal cruelty & violence in the end for the poor gentle cows. Here Mr. Phillip Wallen is speaking of completely removing any & every Animal products from the dinner plate. I wish you could have listen to the speech couple more times for you to grasp what he was talking about.
"A LIE DOESN'T BECOME TRUTH, WRONG DOESN'T BECOME RIGHT & EVIL DOESN'T BECOME GOOD, JUST BECAUSE IT'S ACCEPTED BY A MAJORITY"

Hi Pavan Shukla , Don't be too proud to be a vegetarian . The cat milk for kitten , the dog milk for puppy but the cow milk for human ? What kind of logic is that ? The cows are raped (forcefully impregnated) to produce calves , so they can produce milk. The calves are immediately separated from mother cows , so their milk can be sold to human(like you ) . All cows that have stopped producing milk will to send to slaughterhouse ! ( not old cow house ! )You're contributing directly (not indirectly) to cow cruelty . Think about it . Being a vegan is only solution . I think you can do it !

Are you all aware of how many animals are killed to protect your crops?

There might be animals killed connected to crops, but why do you write "your crops"? Vegans are not the only one needing crops from the field. In fact, the largest crops are grown to feed animals who are then eaten by people. We have all a responsibility to minimize the killing and suffering of animals. The most effective way as an individual is to go vegan, but we certainly can do more to also focus on minimizing the killing of animals in the wild.
