In this video we showcase a Smith and Wesson Performance Center Model 327 .357 Magnum with a 2" Barrel. This Revolver is a great carry gun as it is lightweight, has a buttery smooth trigger, holds 8 shots and is fitted for moon clips. The Model 327 is a member of the N Frame family. It also shows in three color tones with beautiful custom wood grips, a scandium frame and a titanium cylinder and barrel shroud.

Beautiful snubby. Have the 627 and love it. That’s for OWB carry with the fat cylinder. Model 19 carry comp for EDC. Underwood 125 gr XTP will put down just about anything.

That's interesting, my 327 doesn't have that lanyard loop. I've had this mini cannon for 4 years and it still gorgeous to look at and easy to shoot. I use Hornady Critical Defense ammo.

The barrel lenght of the S&W is to short to use the power of the .357 Magnum completely … the material is hot stuff and got a very nice performance

False. There’s plenty of short barrel formulas for powders that will be completely used. There’s powders that will cause higher velocities from 357 mag from a 2 inch compared to a comparable 9mm gr weight bullet out of a 4 inch. That’s the beauty of straight walled cartridges.

Nice gun 357+lite gun= ouch probably wouldn’t be able to empty the gun with full house 357 mag 😅

What are the spots on the frame? Some reaction to a cleaning solvent? Great video, and I hope to find and obtain one.

@@FieldStrip357 yes Sir, them be the ones! I’ve since watched several other videos of the 327, and Shazam, there they are again, and in the exact same spots. Must be a reminder of the Scandium?
@@tmaddrummerthey are titanium pins for the internals. Typically those would be blended in with a steel or aluminum frame

I think due to the size of the cylinder you would find it more comfortable carrying strong side OWB. Check out jacksonleatherwork.com John Jackson would make you a fine holster for this high quality gun :)

It does have a wide cylinder due to the 8 shot capacity. One would have to dress accordingly to keep this revolver concealed.
I'd like to add this to my collection, but $1,500? I paid a tad less for my Ruger SFAR AR-10. I can't justify this for the price.
It is a pricey revolver yes. But, you get what you pay for here. That Scandium Frame and titanium cylinder and barrel shroud don’t come cheap. But, they lighten the load for carry.
You need to shoot it.
