John Moses Browning said the best gun is the simplest gun. Pipe shotguns are extremely simple. My build works. Fired it 347 times just for the hell of it. Lol.

Ive learned how to use a 3d Printer to print the legal definition of a "gun", then build the rest with a parts kit. Ive built quite a few. Im working on a Mac11 frame made of sheet metal today.
Theres a bunch of different ways to build your own firearm, and as Americans we are a select few that can do so legally, even though that time is quickly being attacked by gun grabber groups.

@TheAmenez the rich and powerful need something to keep them in check. In the same vein the American people need a tool for revolution. Never heard an argument as poor as "you can't fight the military anyways they have planes and tanks etc..." look at every guerilla war ever. The ragtag forces nearly always find some success using their unconventional tactics against traditional armies
It's the same philosophy as the Liberator pistol. It's a bad gun but it's still a gun, and you can jump an enemy and take their weapons.

I like this slam fire shotgun. I have learned something from this video! About the Philippines resistance using this against the Japanese to get their wheapoonds to help fight the World war 2.I am a history buff,especially about ww2.David Back.

I believe simple stock made of a 1 inch plank or even wet branch would be better and simpler.
It's also kinda funny that this two pipes and a nail solution is one of most effective weapons against hight tech drones.
With a bit of planning and extra work, you could something resembling a Darne linear action shotgun.

one of those in 45 ACP or 9mm would be cool too....just thinking of the kind of ammo you might find or come across in a SHTF and how you could make something from common items to fire the ammunition accurately...or at least accurately enough for a one time use :)
They make those steel adapters that are the diameter of a 12g or 20g shell and hold various calibers 9mm,40,45,10mm,357,22...they are only for single shot shotguns but would work in the slam fire if careful and designed with using them in though.

Something with a rim would work... .22lr, .38. .44. .45lc .410. 20ga, 16 ga ( my favorite ),
Exactly, you got to think about what is going to be common ammo to grab. 12 gauge, 9mm, and 45 ACP.

I do think that this being that light could have two barrels - one for pepper cartridge or light gauge and the other for "okay this didn't work now what" gauge
There are some slam fire shotguns on the market I believe that were made by one of the men in the Philippines resistance
They might be on the market in the Philippines - but would be illegal for sale here in the US. Unless, of course, they were sold in some sort of unfinished kit!

@@shooter31m Just like with everything else when it comes to government threats written on paper called laws you would have to be caught in possession of the illegal, unregistered self man gun. If you're wondering how they would know you didn't make the gun before the law was passed, that's because they required all of those guns to be serialized by a certain date. So if they catch you with one they'll throw you into a cage like an animal even though you never harmed or threatened anyone. All you did was disobey what the parasitic political ruling class wrote down on paper. Isn't government so wonderful !? What would we possibly do if we didn't have people bossing us around and stealing our money in taxes?

Can u make barrel inserts for it, make .50bmg barrel insert, and just test it safely pls, alot of youtuber fire .50bmg in their shotgun but i never seen 1 with proper barrel insert and chamber for the .50bmg ammo

How did you go about sanding the weld bead on the inside of the pipe?
No grinding required - the pipe cap on the end of the receiver covers the weld.

What is the size of the stainless steel tube? Is it 304? Because i have 7/8 stainless and the 12 gauge doesn't fit
I was wondering what is the longest 12 ga hull available. And hulls larger than 12 ga ?
As far as I know, the 12 gauge 3 1/2” is the longest in that gauge. They also make hulls for 10 gauge and 8 gauge as well.

His take on what is legal in the USA should not be taken seriously. This type of weapon is known as a zip gun since it is not obviously recognizable as a firearm. In most States the manufacture of zip guns is illegal. Ask me how I know.
Perhaps you should read the federal firearm statutes contained in the "Gun Control Act of 1932. This shotgun meets all the legal provisions required for a homemade firearm.
