I think Scott's near death experience taught him some kind of "life is short..." lesson and now he's shooting some of the worst designed and unsafe guns in the history.
The big question about the terminator shotgun is “Why?” As in “why would a company make this?” A single shot, slam fire, barrel movement adds to recoil, and difficult to eject shells. Maybe if it was a $50 shotgun?
But even for $50, it would still not make sense. Used single shot H&R/NEF guns sold for $50 or less when this thing was made and they work well (and were made in huge quantities making them easy to find).

Honestly the Terminator is not a bad design if they put a heavier spring in and would sell them for like 80 bucks... Its basically an advanced slamfire.
For under $100 I would buy one and stick it in a plastic bag with desiccants and bury it for SHTF. With 00 or slugs, at least you could feed yourself for a while.
That's about what they sold for. I picked up my Terminator in about 1990 for $75 at a gun shop. Then again you could get a used pump shotgun for about the same price at that time. The recoil really is increased by the rearward moving barrel assembly.
@@MyDailyUpload $75 in 1990 to 2021 translates to about $156. You can get some passable pumps these days for a bit more than that even brand new. Well as u can see he can see just fine and looks close to 100% plus when people ask about the neck or other scars he can say "eh, it was nothing just got hit by a .50 cal is all"
"This is the worst shotgun ever. However, since its chamber's inner diameter is over 1/2 inch, I still like the gun."
Three years later, your wife is no longer confused. She's come to expect this.
That’s a big fat “go” preceded by a big fat “no.”
Thank you for describing the function before firing.
The cobray is definitely cool in appearance, but limited usefulness, I mean a single shot that doesn't easily eject spent rounds, it might make a cool survival gun, so long as you didn't need a second round any time soon 🤣
rather have an old doubl barrel
@@chef7658 heavier but way more reliable
It would probably be an emergency self defense weapon thats legal in liberal states
Wouldn't a single barrel break action still be a better choice?
@@spazmagoog compared to this weord songle shot in the video? for sure as a normal breal action single shot shotgun would actually work everytime without issues.
fires shotgun from the sholder: "it's not that bad.
horse fly bits Scott: "OUCH!"
😂😂😂😂😂
Horseflies ain't nothing to mess with lol
I usually have the same reaction, they hurt like a lightning bolt made of liquid fire.
🤣🤣🤣
I'd rather be stung by a few wasps over a bite from a horse fly.
The irony that i watched H3VR put this in their game and also say its the worst shotgun
“That was a mistake”
Also Scott 5 seconds later
*laughs maniacally*
I love how much fun you have in the range. Just like a kid having tons of fun. Love the vids. Makes me laugh.
I’m LMAO! This looked super fun!
Scott seems to have a renewed humor and enjoyment of the silliness!
6:52 Me Every time I come up with a ridiculous idea
He's had a better go with this gun than forgotten weapons. Also good to see how well he's recovered.
Yeah. Hard to believe all of the shown rounds actually fired after Ian’s video.
"Im going to regret this"
Gets frosted like a cake.
Still excited as hell Scott is back
So it's littetally like a half step up from a two piece zip gun
More like 1 step up and 2 down 😂
@@TheGingerburger atleast it can't jam and doesn't have a bullshit cocking system
Scott: *takes gun to gunsmith to fix the extractor/ejector*
Gunsmith: "Is this miracle whip?"
Scott: *whispers under breath* "If he had went to Sonorin Desert Institute, he'd know that was obviously miracle whip."
Gunsmith: "What!?"
Scott: "Its, uhhh eggplant actually."
Scotts Wife: *doing laundry* "Is this miracle whip?"
Scott: *whispers under breath* "If she had went to Sonorin Des..."
Wife: "Scott! I can hear you!"
Lmao 🤣
We need Scott to do this skit
Can’t wait to see the memes that come from Scott being covered in miracle whip
Ron Jeremy would have been proud....
>Boys after NNN, lolz
It kinda looks like an elephant was a bit too excited to see him ^_^
He says "I'm going to regret this decision." And his dad is thinking "Me too!"
Put a Thumb in it!
"not a good judge of recoil", what he means is he's freaking jacked haha
There is nothing like the sound of Scott's laugh to lighten ones day. That is definitely a "different", "unusual" shotgun.
Scott: *Films a new video*
Critters in the woods: "We eatin' good tonight!"
I remember seeing Ian's video on this gun from Forgotten Weapons. This is gonna be good. lol
Kinda weird that in Ian's video this gun miss fires a lot, I think he didnt oil it right or the firing pin is just blunt
@@luutanbao11 Well Ian may be Gun Jesus, but Scott's the one with healing hands for guns. lol
Scott : it’s not that bad
Also Scott : OWW freaking horsefly
This gun seems like a fun novelty, but I can't imagine a practical use. I'd still love to shoot one. Never shot a slam-fire, let alone a pseudo slam-fire. lol
@@foxtrot889 @foxtrot889 At the time SWD advertised it as the shortest possible legal shotgun. It had been on the wall at my LGS for several months and the owner had marked it down to $75. I was a poor college student and that was my price point. Its fun to shoot after a fashion. I found that it would rip the base off of low brass field rounds. The recoil is actually enhanced by the manner of operation.
@@MyDailyUpload Thanks for sharing your experience. It still looks super short to me, but is it still legal/the shortest legal currently? Almost looks like a sten, which I know is also an open bolt so maybe they're related to some extent? I'm too gun-dumb to actually know. Sounds super cool to me all the same. In the 90's I was a kid so I couldn't appreciate things like this, let alone shoot/obtain them. I hope one day to be able to afford property where I can just blow up cans of gravy/cheese/pickles into hell, but for now I'm just working on getting my concealed carry and a gun to go with it. (poor man's apartment life, fml.) My currently only personally owned firearm is a cheap ol' Savage Steven's pump for home defense. I rarely get to shoot it for fun.
"Honey, why are you soaking wet and smell like mayonnaise?"
Also, A+ solo wet t-shirt contest.
That was a big jug of shine. Where's the still?
That intro 🤣🤣🤣Donut would be proud.. "before we blast these pickles" is a sentence I didnt know i needed in my life lmao
@not #ot Would you people stop linking videos like that.
looks like a candidate for "when guns go boom"
I think I speak on behalf of everyone when I say that we are all so lucky to have Scott still kicking Eggplant and shooting tables for us all to enjoy.
You need a new Kentucky Ballistics shirt that says “Whip it!”
Whip it good.😋
Scott: recoil seems negligible
Ian: omg the buttplate is so sharp!
Lol look at Ian and then Scott. I’m sure the recoil doesn’t get far in them arms lol
@@treebuster93 indeed.
It’s because gun Jesus like like a stick figure compared beef cake Scott. 😂
@@daveodanger exactly bro, Scott is a lil more built than ian
A decent recoil pad actually makes a huge difference. Not gonna make it kick any less but it makes your shoulder hurt less
