Every time I watch one of his videos I am transported back to 13 year old me with my Crosman blasting (tiny) holes in everything and loving every minute of it.
The first rule of gun safety is to have fun
I haven't seen this gun since Black Ops 1 it's genuinely the weirdest shotgun I ever saw

So you've never really seen it.

Physically excited? You mean he gets an erection?
Nah scott probably always brings his 100% discount coupon with him
What about the local cheap table maker?
That slow motion jam had me rolling! Congrats on 3MM!
During my service time in the jungle during the original call of duty: black ops, many folks on both sides would dual wield these guns. Some sat in corners, others dolphin diving off balconies with them; landing on their stomachs over B flag. So, the tactical versatility is quite good. And if my 1.3 k/d said anything, it said that this gun rules.

Hey Scott. I’m a retired Police “Combat Shotgun” Senior firearms instructor.
We wouldn’t even consider that High Standard 12 gauge shotgun for our officers. It’s poorly designed and it appears poorly manufactured.
We carried the Mossberg model 500 or the Mossberg 590 Defender in some divisions. I personally own a model 500.
Prior to that we carried the Remington 870, also a great shotgun.
I wouldn’t put my officers lives in danger with that High Standard shotgun., It’s a “No Starter” for so many reasons.
Love your show I am subscribed to your channel and a regular watcher.
Keep up the good work Brother.
Scott is single-handedly (well, double-handedly really) keeping Lifetime products in business with the sheer number of tables that man goes through.
Pretty sure he said awhile back that they sponsor him with the tables. They get a ton of advertising out if it though, which I'm sure has helped thier bottom line.
@@joegreenbbka That is cheap advertising to reach 3 million people.

I’m always ok with Scott using a gun that doesn’t run so well, because those random “you just got jammed” clips always make me laugh. The slo-mo one during “watermelon time” was priceless. 😂 Congrats on 3 million subs man! Thank you for everything you do and keep up the amazing work. Here’s to many more 🍻
My opinion is that fighting shotguns should always be run with roll crimp shells. Roll crimps are higher quality and more consistent, and resist deformation more. I suspect this might have been a lot more reliable with roll crimps like Rio Royal instead of star crimps as used. Rio Royal is all I run in my Saiga 12 and it's been 100% flawless.
@WardenWolf its interesting you thought your opinion mattered.

I never watched a single gun-tuber until early this year, and it is precisely because of Scott's personality that I'm happily still watching.
I will say This HS-10 Shotgun has quite the fascination for me. It was featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and was pretty interesting to use. Even had the ability to Duel wield it which I thought was pretty cool
It was also in the movie "Thief" with James Caan, Jim Belushi, Robert Prosky, Dennis Farina(the one who had the gun under his trenchcoat), Tuesday Weld, and Willie Nelson among others.

This video is your peak. This is the best thing I’ve ever watched. The slow-mo “just got jammed” really put it over the top. Bravo, this is your masterpiece.
I started cracking up when I saw that lmao
Agreed!
It Just made my day
I was thinking "Will it jam during watermelon time?" was not disappointed.
I always wondered what would happen when two jokes collided in a video, and it made my day. XD
The first time this gun jammed on you, somehow I knew it would happen again and again before the video was over. It was still entertaining each and every time it happened - I nearly choked on my dinner laughing about three or four times.
It's funny, because right before that point I was thinking to myself "I mean it's not a good shotgun, but assuming it's relatively cheap and fairly reliable, it's not terrible for what you get out of it" and then it jammed immediately after I had that thought.
8 times, laughed everytime
I suspect the one handed use was intended to pair with a riot shield while door breaching and room clearing. However, I certainly wouldn't want to clear a jam while juggling a shield. That's a killer combination right there 😒
“Also if you use it this way you may only have one arm.” Fucking died laughing. Great writing!
I'm old enough to remember when this gun originally came out back in the 60's. Then it had a built in flashlight where the carrying handle is located on your test piece. To the gun's other flaws, the story was that it broke the filament in the flashlight's bulb when you fired the weapon.
ahahaha 😂

5:51 the table was so beaten up that the other one didn't want to go to the same fate, so it just fell
I priced those ballistic dummy lab torsos (around $2k) and I thought that's alot of money he blows up for us. Then I remembered his table addiction and figured it's way worse 😅
But you said I was one of your shortlisted winners.. I’m hurt
4:10 I haven’t laughed this hard in a while! 🤣
I think it safe to say that the phase "come on the gumballs are attacking!" has never been said before in human history. Oh man..."Goes with jam" the jokes combined with the over-the-top gratuitous destruction. It's too funny. Poor tables. It's kind'a like watching Demoranch...but on crack.
My take on this:
Jamming issues aside, this thing actually _has massive potential._
It's practical, easy to store and does seem to be devastating when working probably.
All that really needs to be done is to:
1: Fix the jamming issues.
2: Make a magazine for it so it's not as awkward to reload.
3: Rethink the design a bit.
Possible something is broken in his gun. Military Arms Channel owns one and his runs fine with full powered loads.
But given how rare this shotgun is and how long it’s been out of production, finding new parts to fix it is probably impossible. It’s one thing that separated this from the SPAS-12 I own where I was at least able to get all the necessary replacement parts I needed via the SPAS-12 Project.
SPAS 12, Loved shooting one of those when they first came out
So, it's good except for everything that it currently is

Oh my god, I knew I recognized that shotgun from somewhere! It was in Call of Duty Black Ops where its defining feature was that it was the only shotgun you could dual wield...which is made even stranger given that the beginning of the video literally makes a point of the HS10 only being right-handed.
true true, it does say simply not to shoulder it on the left side
@@Exabyte98 "Do not shoulder??? Aight, I'll bicep it!"
Scooter is one of my favorite parts of this channel. It's like, no matter what he does, you just can't stay mad at him because you know that all he wants to do is make sure you're having the best day that you possibly can. Maybe some times that doesn't work out, but his enthusiasm for the process takes the sting out of almost any injury.
Hello my name is scooter also and my family and friends think this exact same thing about me
Messed with a few examples of these, there was a 10A version with a big mag-lite style flashlight in the rear sight area.
Made a couple magazine extensions for them, which was a PITA because they use an inside thread instead of an external thread (like a Remington 870/1100).
They did experience a lot of FTF's, running them a bit wet with CLP seemed to help. (Also splattered you and the poor SOB to your right with lots of oil/propellant fouling).
Always wanted to try and make something similar from a Model 11 or 1100, but could never drink enough whiskey to bring myself to perform the required mutilation to a decent shotgun.
Oddly, before the Clinton era ban, these were fairly common at pawn shops in the Phoenix area. I remember seeing quite a few for decent prices . Then they became collectable, and all but vanished.
Congrats on the 3 mil, I can't help but laugh at all the "you just got jammed" moments I hope at some point there will be a whole compilation of them they're hilarious
I could dig that!
It's almost impressive how many times that thing jammed
Yeah 😂
yeah and first time jammed in the watermelon's time
I kept count and over the course of the video it jammed 7 times
Yeah, they... they do that. I remember Ian had one on Forgotten Weapons many years ago, and that one jammed so often and so thoroughly that he finally broke it trying to clear it.
Even as a Brit, I have to ask 2 questions...
1. What in the ever hating Hi-point Hell is this monstrosity?
2. Who in their right mind raided Keltecs reject pile for shotty ideas?????

It’s a cool design, but definitely not for police. The only real issue with the design is that the carry handle moves when you shoot. Nobody uses sights on shotguns anyways, so it doesn’t matter.
This is one of the few exotic weapons on your channel that I actually have trigger time on. It was an issued weapon for the security detail in my company.
