I probably would’ve NEVER gotten into Legend of Zelda if I haven’t seen your animations. I don’t know how I got here, but you literally made me shed tears for characters who previously meant nothing to me. Right down from the facial expressions, the timing of the music with the actions, and all of the poured out emotions were all wonderfully executed together. This really raises the level of show and tell. You have a splendid gift for animating and story telling.

    • @cassinoelle4289
      @cassinoelle4289 3 года назад +12

I know right?! That was absolutely amazing! To be honest, the transitions between Ganondorf vs. Link and TP,Link vs. OoT,Link almost made it look like the fight against OoT,Link was possibly some kind of illusion and, while TP,Link was fighting OoT,Link in this mind, in reality, he was actually fighting Ganondorf that whole time, which would explain why the fight choreography was nearly completely identical, with slight, but still obvious differences.

The hero of Time.. Seeing this reminded me of what he had to go through. From leaving his childhood to be a hero to being the forgotten hero who was forced to grow up 7 years too fast. How he had to die with regret for not being able to rescue hyrule like he wanted to. He did so much & helped the hero of twilight be successful to kill that same Ganon. Seeing that scene in this animation was so beautiful yet heartbreaking. This is what I wanted twilight princess to be. It was in tears when he said “Do not falter my child.” That broke me cause he went through so much & for him to watch the hero of twilight all along on his journey that he should of gotten recognition for also. That’s why I love the hero of Time the most. 😢 This was truly beautiful.

Yes! I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this! What a great reference to OOT and the Hero of Time. Kinda gives you a sense that he speaks as if he was still in his own time period. In other words, by doing this, we could guess that the Hero's Shade speaks in a style that sounds old fashioned to TP link. Kinda like how the Great Deku Tree spoke in old english to OOT link when he was a child.

Never have I ever been so touched by a fan made video. The animation was amazing, the music was exceptional, the story had so much emotion put into it that I was in tears during the parts where The Hero of Time and The Hero of Twilight talked and “fought”. I have to admit that this alternate ending for Twilight Princess is better than the actual ending of the game. The ending was so satisfying when it showed The Hero of Time and The Hero of Twilight slashing and stabbing at Ganon’s head, just like what happened in Ocarina of Time. I feel that this ending is much better because we did not see much of The Hero’s Shade (Oot Link) nor did we get to know much of his back story( in the actual game). I also liked that Link had to find his courage instead of just having it like in almost all of the games, that added so much expression and inner conflict which makes it even better. In the end Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time are my two favourite games, and to see the two Links together touched my heart. They are supposed to be family, and in the actual game barely anything was said about that. I appreciate this animation that you made very much, it brings happiness to me and brings back so many great memories of me playing. I don’t know how to express how much this has touched me( I was literally in tears). I am supporting you fully now and keep up the good work. :-) Thank You so much(Sorry for long paragraph). ;-)

I can say, without a doubt, that the fight scenes depicted in this animation were much better than those of Masked Courage (I'm not late to the party this time!), and the emotion in the fight between OoT Link and TP Link was... enlightening to see. The music seemed to really fit the animation, so kudos for that. If you haven't already started on a project, might I suggest making your own story about the Hero's Shade? Alex_The_Umbreon player I understand your position to make claims that are true without evidence. This is a testimony to find strengths from within ourselves to overcome even the greatest of obstacles. To make the time to set up recordings and proof of your victories is never required. It is your story that you will carry to the grave. Remember there are Heroes then there are legends. Heroes can be remembered, but legends can never die. Only your heart can and it can never go wrong. Cheer up guy. May there be peace, prosperity, comfort, good will and the triforce be bestowed upon you. True victories are fought with dilegents, spirit, and courage with the agenda of peace and happiness. That is the beauty of freewill my friend. Remember this and you can craft the image of your character on how you see fit. That's the beauty of life.

I come back here often just to watch the fight between OoT Link and TP Link. The music is amazing, but I just love the conduct of OoT Link, mentoring his descendant. The facial expressions really get me; OoT Link's face is always calm and kind, but his eyes are so intense, like he's seen a lot. I don't know, I find that his expressions, looking at TP Link in this scene, tell whole stories all on their own. Amazing.

One thing I love about this is how it emphasizes the fact that TP Link ISN’T a reincarnation like literally every other Link. The others are basically like “Yup, this seems about right, time to hero” and have the instinctual memories to back themselves up, but TP is running in blind. This one is actually nervous and afraid because he’s up against a literal Dark Lord of Evil and doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing, and has to learn to be a hero like his forefathers.

This highlights how great OoT Link really is. He's the OG Link that connected all of us to the series deeper than it's predecessors and was the shining example of a true hero. Bound to know dishonor or falsehood. He stood tall with courage for his Kingdom that he didn't even know and endured loss, Limited Memories, And war wounds beyond measure. He is the Hero Of TIME. Meaning he'll always be in the history of Hyrule. Always will play a role as a shade or example to aid all future Links, even if he isn't mentioned like in TP. He's always going to be NO.1 Link

The only way I could really see this being better would be if at around 7:13 or so, OoT Link starts to laugh before his speech-like, starts off quiet, but then loud, relieved laughing, the kind that kind of turns into crying, just a bit. Because it’s been so, so long, and it’s finally-FINALLY-over. He can rest now.

I enjoyed your visual narration with the fight with Ganon. The transitions with Twilight Link fighting both Ganondorf and Hero of Time Link made me feel he wasn't trying to not just beat the big boss, but learn from and surpass his father's (significant although forgotten) legacy. And the music you used DEFINITELY emphasized that and connected the two. Regardless whether that was your intention or not, you don't often see that type of storytelling in fight-scenes and I'm glad I got that feeling with your animation. In short: GREAT VIDEO!

You've really outdone yourself this time MajorLink. You've improved so much, even just by comparing part one you published. I could tell you put your heart into this, and it shows extensively. The fight scene was so well done; not only were the movements flawless just between Ganon and Link, but also with both Links transitioning between each other. • @ImpyWorm

I really enjoyed this one, so I'll start off with criticism and leave the best for last.
I think parts of this could have done with having the music be just a little quieter at certain points so that some of the ambience or sound comes out a little clearer. In addition to that, some of the slower moments tend to be just a little TOO slow, such as the long breaks in dialogue as something fast-paced is happening, like Zelda telling Link to get on his feet while Ganondorf has all the time in the world to rush forward or when the same happens after he's hit with a light arrow. Being slow can be dramatic, but not of it's so slow as to be almost ridiculously slow. And finally, some of the animation is still a little wonky: Like Ganon after he's stunned by Midna just seems to sit there like he's dead, even before Link finishes him off. And a few little things, like Ganondorf's eyebrows moving a little too fast at around the 10:22 mark.
Now all that said, I think this part is a HUGE improvement over the first part, and with me liking Imp Midna so much more than her true form, that's saying alot! Most of the animation during the fighting was fantastic, and the camera work was also VERY good! I really appreciate some of the attention to detail you've given to minor things, like having the Hero's Shade use Ocarina of time's dialogue box to differentiate this Link from this Era. And finally, I like some of the changes you've made to the ending, like said-Hero's Shade appearance, having Beast Ganon show up after Ganondorf is defeated (was not expecting that) and especially Midna helping to defeat Ganon once more in the final battle (Expecting that even less!)
It's not perfect, I rarely consider anything as such, but this is definitely good work! I think if you just keep up practicing and perfecting your work as you make more stuff, I think you can make some truly fantastic stuff in the future. Just don't ever think you can't do better!

This video meant a lot to me, for years I wanted to do a link cosplay, but the years passed and I'm not that young anymore, so I remembered that the hero´s shade is also link, and I did it, I felt, that I had achieved what i wanted.

I love the way Zelda’s eyes move when normal Ganon is defeated

I specifically want a way to listen to the theme when both Links had the fight against each other. Like. Please. I love it and it is inspiring.
