Impa sure has evolved radically. She started off as Zelda's old nursemaid, but now she's a total badass.

It could also be a completely different Impa. Each Zelda game takes place in a different timeline/time period. Link is a time traveler/reincarnation of the Hero of Time, Every princess of Hyrule is named Zelda by tradition and Ganondorf is an immortal demon king who keeps returning. Even the king of Hyrule is different each time (CD-i had Harkinian and Windwaker had Daphnes Nohansen) and in most games he is absent.
yes she might be different because of time and rebirth. but many of the impa are actually strong and badass. it's just when we first meet her she has already become the bodyguard of zelda. but it is implied that she was the leader of a clan guarding the royal family and she has many skills unknown to the player. so i'd say she has always been badass, it's just her full potential hasn't been shown a lot ingame, due to link being the hero. impa is like the person who protects everyone when link isn't there.
I hate FFX but I'd like to see her date auron. They even have the same sword stance now :P

one thing i love about this game, and i probably sound like a total idiot, is the fact that link wasnt all "tough guy who knows how to do everything instantly". when he got the master sword, instead of being an instant professional and all serious n' stuff, he got cocky and irresponsible with it. idk. i guess it just gives him more of a character than he had in the earlier games

I LOVED the fact that Cia used Links' cockiness to create Dark Link. it made him more human. Everybody makes mistakes, but if you're the Hero, those mistakes could cost you your life.
imho the game shows very good the hopeless desire in which Hyrule is falling into, when Evil really WANTS to win! It wouldn't be the Hero's first defeat (ooc - defeated timeline). Sometimes the Hero needs an Army to become legend!
Wind Waker and Skyward sword have elements of a flawed Link. Wind is just a child looking for his sister, plus he's a massive dork. Sky is a bit clueless and lazy at first.

+MikazukiRyu I think it was more about him fighting through courage over arrogance, fear and pride. When Wizzro creates the shades, he takes about the pride and arrogance growing inside of link, and how it would corrupt him, which would essentially make him unworthy to wield the master sword. When Lana brought all their allies to aid him, he over came this corruption, which made the master sword glow. Its a throwback but him fighting dark link in one of the other games

This design is different from Ocarina of Time. In Ocarina, she was made to look masculine to hide the fact she was Zelda. Here, it was no longer a secret so they made Sheik appear more feminine.

Well.. To be truthful I did believed that they were just blood related and not the same people. But there has been so many theory that it's either..
1) Link is really being reborn in each generation without the chance to be freed from his service...

2) That the Link we see from the past release (the game) are just blood related from the orignal Link. But their name is Link because... Well... Maybe they just follow the tradition that Zelda family has?

3) Yes, now that you mention it. That would indeed be true, but it would depend on those universes timeline. In some ways one Link could meet his grandpa or future grandchildren from their alternative universes- or meet his current self depending on the timeline Link traveled to that universes. (If that make sense.)
If you think either way... I would say number 2 and 3 would fit the idea that The legend of Zelda has.. But than it would be a confusing mess because... Well.. wouldn't you want to know which Link is Link in a way...? Because I'm sure they each had their own persona(yet in two games the link are the same person).

The way I see it is, Ganondorf comes back because Link has the Master Sword. The Master Sword is the barrier to Ganondorf's fourth spirit piece. So the only reason he comes back is because Link doesn't put the Master Sword back once Cia is defeated. If he had done that, maybe everything after the battle with Cia could have been prevented.
+TheNextGenius He would have had to pull it out again to fight Ganadorf anyway. Don't get me wrong, you have a valid point, but every other Zelda game with ganandorf in it ahs proven he is strong anyway, so all he would have had to do was ambush Lana for the triforce of power, and link would have had to draw the master sword out in fear that he had acquired the 4th shard of his soul. He had 3 parts of his soul and wasn't banished, so Link would have had to draw the master sword in order to banish him, since no one had thought to do that post Cia's defeat

Additionally, this Zelda is a perfect mix of the Twilight Zelda (the most beautiful, regal & useful of the Zeldas, IMO) & the traditional blonde theme typically used in every other game.

The facial animations in this game are fantastic! I mean, the expressions on Link's face are so lively, wow. Overall the animation and character design look gorgeous!! 🙉 I can't believe i never got the chance to play it. I wish i can play it one day.

Are you kidding me? I've never played this game, but does it seriously start with Zelda being whimsical in a dream, and then waking up next to Link's clothes? And the whole "Okay crap, darkness is coming, lets look for the Link of our generation, he'll know what to do". I'm starting to think Hylia is getting lazy as the time goes on. EDIT: COME ON!! Link is the only one fighting without a helmet. Zelda: "welp, he's blond, and our eyes made some sort of connection. Must be him".
Zelda has the Blood of the Goddess, but only SS Zelda actually knew of it. Hylia isn't mortal anymore; all she could ever do, if she survived after becoming mortal that is, is slightly pushing both to the right direction.
But what they did know was that a hero would be reborn everytime darkness threatens to consume the world. So the royal family keeps the hero's green clothes in order to find the hero when they need him.
From the dialogue, Zelda describing her nightmare as a returning one, they were looking for the hero for a longer time now, but apparently never bothered too look at the lowly training soldiers.
Link without having a helmet... heh, a game off "guess the anime main character" is always fun, right?
For the last part, it was Impa who gave him the clothes, not Zelda, just after Impa saw him using and possessing the Triforce of Courage. Zelda figured it out afterwards; she had no clue.
4:03 TACTICAL NUKE INCOMING! Something that bugs me though is why Impa didn't realize Sheik was Zelda the instant Cia stole the Triforce of Wisdom if she was FULLY AWARE ZELDA HAD IT.

I find it odd that one of the memories in Breath of the Wild, a quote that many use as solid evidence as to it's placement in the timeline, mentions all three eras that Hyrule Warriors Draws upon....Skyward Sword, Ocarina of time, and Twilight Princess.
They say that Hyrule Warriors isn't canon, and not part of the timeline, but it seems a really, really strange coincidence, don't you think?
They use those three because they're the three major console releases in 3D. So...it's not a coincidence, it just means both games reference the bigger games.
I wouldn't be surprised if that quote was a reference towards Hyrule Warriors. I mean, Hyrule Warriors came out long before Breath of the Wild did, so it is a possibility.

I really liked how when the triforce of power goes to Lana, it doesn't go to her hand, like the other two, but instead she has to absorve it with a bubble. I think that's because she isn't the "rightful" owner of that triforce

In hindsight, this game's story is highly underrated when you realize it takes place at the very end of the childhood timeline.
At the end of twilight princess, ganondorf was finally defeated and lost possession of the triforce of power.
Hyrule warriors is a game about his attempted resurrection and regaining the triforce of power so he can continue his quest to conquer hyrule, like he has been since ocarina of time.
Luckily despite nearly succeeding in obtaining the whole triforce and casting hyrule in eternal darkness, Link, Zelda, Impa, Lana, and all the other friends of the past incarnations of link defeat ganondorf one final time and strips the triforce of power from him. Thus permanently ending ganondorf as demise's reincarnation in that timeline.
However despite ganondorf being permanently dead, demise's curse is indestructible, and without a physical body to reside in demise's next incarnation took on a purely chaotic form, known as calamity ganon.

He also ends up stealing Astor’s body… (which I’m fine with because he is a total jerk. Imo of course.)
Oh, and I definitely agree that the games story line is very underrated. The only thing that could make this better is voice acting… (also if you haven’t you should check out age of calamity it’s really good imo.)

I wanted Lana to stay!! She's so sweet and adorable. She's powerful too. I wish she would have stayed with them! The same thing happened in Twilight Princess when I played it, Midna had to go back and the mirror broke. That made me so sad because Midna was my favorite character. It seems like every time Link gets a new companion like, Navi, Fi, in Twilight Princess's case, Midna was his guide, etc. they end up leaving in the end. Navi started it when she just left Link in OoT at the end and I was just confused. She just left,. I loved Navi too, even though she is annoying as hell, I still think she's a good friend to Link and she's cute too. I feel bad for Link. This game is so amazing though, like oh my God. I cannot get over how amazing the graphics are!!! Everything is beautiful! Thank you for making this video! I love it!!

I just realized, this is all of Ocarina of Time's story basically, with just interdemensional traveling added, lmao, I Fucking LOVE this game.
I know it said that Link and Zelda were bound together, but I don't think that it meant as lovers. If you pay attention to each game, there is always a different girl that Link is involved with. In Twilight Princess, it is Illia. In Ocarina of Time, it is Malon. The only exception is Skyward Sword, in which it pretty much yells, "HEY! LINK LIKES ZELDA! AND SHE LIKES HIM! THEY GONNA LIVE TOGETHER AND STUFF!"
Link may love Zelda in all of the three games, but he is a peasant in all of them. In two of them Zelda is a Princess.

Well, you can infer. If you look, it makes sense. And Illia isn't neccesarily canon either. It is just mostly infered. And it still stands that Link is a Peasant, and only in Skyward Sword is it implied that Zelda loves Link.
Anyway is only a theory.
And you forgot Zelink in Spirit Tracks and the kiss between them in The Adventure of Link.
