Every time I think of this game I'm reminded of being at a friend's house at the time. He was not at all interested in sports of any kind, and never watched them. We were watching a movie on TV, and I switched channels to the MD/Duke game while he ran to the bathroom. When he came back it was 90 to 80 MD with just over a minute left. I had to damn near beg him to let me watch the end of the game, but he did. He and I were able to say for years after that that we watched the "Miracle Minute" live".
What's so good about this is, we met them later in the semi finals of the ncaa tourney, and beat the Terps again. Then went on to win it all. #Dukenation

He had a triple-double against the NJ Nets in his rookie season. He had signs of promise, he had amazing composure in late game moments, that isn't something you loose in transition between college and the pros. Let's give Williams a break and admit he would have been great.
