I was at this game at Cole Field Hole and seeing the image on The Bear brought back both amazing and disappointing memories all at once. As a die-hard Terps season ticket holder, we saw them play 4 times that year. 2 regular games, the ACC tournament, and the Final Four. This was the best Duke team I’ve ever seen and Marylands too. The Terps won the Final Four the following year.

Yes it was. From about 93-94 when they picked up Joe Smith they consistently got better and better reaching farther in the NCAA tournament and eventually winning it.

I remember I was a big Duke fan in 6th grade at a school in patomac Maryland. I was celebrating this so much the next day at school!
I hated Duke. I live in Lanham MD. This game was what made me like Duke.
