A clue that everyone seems to miss is that Cotton and Billy share a hairstyle. If Billy put on Cotton’s jacket, he’d look almost identical from behind.
Someone in the comments wrote that and it’s a super good point
Yeah when you see cotton on tv getting put in the police car you can see his hair is a little longer than normal and slicked back like Billy’s is. When Gale told Sidney, “no, you seen SOMEONE leaving wearing that jacket , not Cotton.” I noticed Billy’s hair was the same and I guessed it right.
@@dylangardner5502 solid connection right there
Holy santa claus shit
❤
One thing you might have missed: Billy and Stu were the only two in the entire movie that said flat out they didn't kill anyone.
I agreed
exactly bc one thing ab killers is thst they love to say they didnt kill anyone when nb even accused them in the first place
I always thought it was supposed to be obvious that Billy was the killer and that the real twist was that there was two of them.
Maybe I always took it as it was suppose to appear as one killer and when the duel killer was revealed you knew it was either Stu or Billy but not both
I thought the way they made it so obvious was to throw us off that it wasn’t him 🤣
Oh they were def doing that
No. It was supposed to appear too obvious to be the boyfriend, too cliche
I definitely suspected Stu and not Billy because he seemed so obvious
The 2 killers being the only people with black shoes on during the fountain scene is a huge clue I never noticed before your video
🙌🙌🔥🔥
The 2 pranksters who get expelled foreshadow the twist of there being 2 killers
Excellent Easter egg
I'm mad I never realized this lol
Another foreshadowing of the two killers is the poster in Sidney's room.
It's of the Indigo Girls (a two-piece singing group) and the poster was for an album that included the song "Power of Two".
When Billy comes in, he ends up standing on screen with that poster right behind him.
@@pattierotondo1108 Maybe just a coincidence. Same with the two pranksters. We don't know because we can't ask Wes Craven.
Ooooh very very clever
Watched this movie a million times and never caught the ''He killed Billy!'' line from Stu. That was pretty damning.
Yea when I watched it with the subtitles on I was wtf did he just say? 😮
i could not understand him lol
To be fair, Stu could have found him. I mean we all know Stu was in on it, but you get the point
When Stu said “I’ll be right back!” it was almost a definite confession. He’s basically teasing Randy because why would anyone else say such a thing and walk off after that speech
if its not stu in scream 7, I will know, every other movie, the 1st, 3rd, and 5th all had a killer say "ill be right back", roman says we'll be right back but same thing, stu says ill be right back, and so does richie, in scream 4 a few people say it but they all die/are minor characters
It's a weird tell but when I first saw it the killer saying "which door am I at?" made me think there were two killers right away - I figured he wouldn't give Casey a question with a passable answer at that point, she was already a goner, so that question had to be unguessable: There being a killer at both doors was something she wouldn't have ever gotten right.
Such a great catch right here
@@NerdsAtNite Thanks! Sadly I didn't exactly guess the right guys, I thought Billy/Stu as one or both but then when Ghostface leaves Randy unharmed on the couch I thought "because Randy's the other guy!" 😅
damn that's genius!
@@rj8877this is smart because they knew there was a camera there at some point so it could have been used as evidence after the fact if randy was in fact the killer
When Billy comes in Sydneys room in the beginning, hes trying to distract her from Stu abducting her father, and then when we get the victims, I always got the impression that they had each other target their choices. Like billy in the beginning, to casey. Stu tries to get Sydney. Billy gets tatum. So they don't look like suspects and have alibis for the police. I could be wrong but I've thought about it for a while haha. Theres also theory going around about their kill style. Stu is more clumsy and billy is more straight forward stabby
Yea that had to be when they took the dad seemed like the only opportunity if the dad was in the same clothes
Yea the criss cross alibi situation makes sense
And yea the kill style is a real thing Stu likes to do big dramatic stabs and Billy well like you said he’s stabby lol (which makes sense about how Sam stabs in 5 & 6)
Yep. When Billy turns the music on in Sid’s room he’s trying to drown out the sound of Stu abducting her dad.
Billy turning up the radio is not just to prevent Sidney from hearing Stu abducting her father but to keep the father from hearing him talking to her
You might as well go do scream 2 because these days.. you GOTTA have a sequel!!!!! 😂
Good stuff
😂😂 thank you
❤
Billy scolding Stu about his gross joke about Casey's liver ("It's called tact!) is also a major clue.
Good one very subtle
That whole scene, he was thinking “Why out of all the psychos I could find, did I pick this guy as my sidekick?”
I was able to solve Scream VI. Once, they mentioned it as a requel of part 2, and the detective kept mentioning a son; I'm like, it's him.
Ohhhh yea that was quick line that really pointed the finger
it was soooooo obvious and I'd guessed Quinn too.. Ethan was just stupid
I got one at the beginning when the brother was mentioned, like "Why would the writer even bring that up?" From there, the detective was obvious. Wasn't looking for a 3rd though, so I didn't get Ethan
I had the dect picked and Ethan was always on my list but Quinn slipped by me
@@NerdsAtNite I think Quinn was on the list because she "died" off screen; it should definitely be on your list for that analysis that if a character dies off screen they are usually not dead; that also counts for her hook up who is apparently the body in the tub the others weirdly believe to be Quinn's?
When Stu is checking his head in Tatum’s mirror it’s because he was the one who attacked Sidney at her house the night before. If you remember he head butted her and then held his own head like it hurt him too.
When i saw this i was sure it was Billy. But my mind blew up when stu was reaveled with billy. Truly a great movie moment for me
Yea the two killer thing blew me away the first time
Gail Weathers was the first to believe in Cotton Weary's innocence.
She’s always been ahead of the curve with the clues
Music cues are also important! When Billy comes into Sidney’s room at the beginning, the song playing is Don’t Fear the Reaper
I think another clue is when Billy gives Stu an “it’s done” nod at the front door right after he kills Tatum. Could be wrong but I’ve seen that one floated out there before
Yea I was chatting with someone else in the comments about this
The nod could be that or it could be Billy just got there and that the nod to let him know he put the principles body up and the rest of their plan is in action
@@NerdsAtNite I hadn’t considered that one but I like that thought too!
First clue= Drew Barrymore says how big and strong Football Steve is. Then, it would take at least two guys of average strength to subdue him.
Another clue is during Randy's rules speech where Stu mocks him by getting another beer and that he'll "be RigHt bAcK"
If he was truly getting a beer he would have had to go to the garage where he would have seen Tatum murdered. If he truly wasnt the killer he should have freaked out and called the police
Funny enough I mentioned this in my recent
“Who killed Tatum” breakdown
Billy loomis is a such an interesting, complex character I love scream so much
There’s so many layers to him this franchise is so good
That Ghostface in the bathroom isn’t Billy or Stu, it’s one of the kids that were running around in the costumes at school, it was just a prank. Notice how he doesn’t even have a knife. Plus, Stu was out by the lockers with Tatum and Billy was out in the hall before she ran in there.
So I’ve heard this theory, don’t know how much I buy into but I’m open to the possibility
Time is sometimes weirdly portrayed in this movie to throw us off
For instance the killer outside of Sid’s while her and Tatum are chilling when next we see Billy and Stu in the video store
All that to say Stu may not be by the lockers any more
right or wrong it’s possible
Yeah its bothered me since i watched it. Billy walks away when she goes to the bathroom and stu is accounted for. Theres not other way to get to the bathroom so it cant be them. Then the next scene we see stu with tatum outside when sid comes along
What if it was Roman?
@hesayshesayhowboutmesay its certainly a theory but its retrospective fitting as he hadn't been thought of yet its proberbly a case of bad editing as the ghostface in the bush is hard to place on bikly or stu too
@@NerdsAtNiterewatch the movie maybe, the literal next scene like nothing in between cuts to the reporter saying “in what appears to be a prank” then we get principal Himbry expell 2 students the one running through the halls and the one who scared Sidney it’s not even a theory I don’t understand why this is a debate the film explains it.
Another movie mention from Stu was when they were at Tatum’s locker. Sidney asks if Billy is mad at her, and Stu says “Oh you mean after your branded him the Candy Man?”
Her father was a good red herring: He was a large grown man, could have abducted Football Steve by himself. Could have quickly hung a dead Drew up on that tree. Also, the death of his wife: He could have either framed Cotton Weary or her death made him snap.
All the pieces were there and he would’ve been a bigger red herring if he was in more than just one scene
I like how you kept playing the clips of Billy & Stu sayin' "I didn't kill anybody" 😅 I hope you do more of these videos with the sequels 🙏🏽
Hahah thank you yea I felt like it was a nice little joke to throw in there and that’s the plan currently working on prt 2 right now
I also always say that Billy had think about what he was *JUST* watching... took 3 whole seconds to "remember" the Exorcist. He was trying to remember the convo he was going to have with Sid.
I know one thing. Especially from the last movie… someone can be 5 feet nothing but put on the ghost face costume and be over 6 feet.
The mask transforms the wearer 😂😂
Without a doubt happens in every film
The killers from Scream 4 are like 5'5" and under. smh
one aspect about the school fountain scene that always gets overlooked and i realize this doesn't count as a clue but an interesting fact..... Out of the five cast members sitting at the fountain Billy and Stu are the only two not wearing any colour.... both of their costumes are made of neutrals (greys and blacks) whereas Sidney, Randy and Tatum are head to toe in bright colours
Yea the color thing is always a clue too
I felt like they made it too obvious when Stu starts talking about how to gut someone and Billy gives him that look like “stfu” in the fountain scene.
@@dylangardner5502 one of those clue that’s so in your face so hard it’s dismissible cause it’s so obvious the first time
The fountain scene strikes me as a tongue and cheek reference to friends - probably the 1 millionth person to notice that
Also at the fountain scene, both Billy and Stu are wearing the same black shoes the killer wore in the bathroom stall scene
please make more of these clues with every Scream Franchise from 1 to 6.
🫡🫡 will do!
I like Billy's stupified glance at Stu at the fountain. It's a "Dude, you're giving the game away!" look
Exactly lol
Watched this movie 100 times and never realized that Billy was indeed using all his movie references as anaolgies. interesting stuff.
🙌🙌
The thing that blew my mind when I first watched Scream: no one person seemed to be able to be the killer, something was always off. And we all know that slashers have one killer, right?
Wrong! It's 2! It threw me off so much, you could have flat out told me it's Stu or Billy, and I wouldn't have believed it until the end.
Stu in the video store says, "Why would Billy want to kill his girlfriend?" He had already killed his ex (Barrymore) and go on to kill Rose M. I have a theory: When Stu corners Rose in the garage, at first she thinks he's funning around. I think that by his height and body language she knew that it was Stu. She didn't know that he was really going to try to kill her.
Someone else in the comments said Tatum was in on it and gave the same proof and I’m now totally buying that as something that is real
@@NerdsAtNiteuhm….huh
Stu didn’t kill Tatum. Billy did. That’s why when he pops up at the front door he gives Stu that look.
@@amariahlovelace5113 1 of two pieces of proof that’s easily debunked in this vid
@@amariahlovelace5113 lol i love how he says “easily debunked” like the video is supposed to be gospel truth just cus he made it . . .
Stu says "Easy, easy!" running upstairs after Sid, then says the same to Tatum as she bumps his head with her lollipop.
Horror is naturally the easiest genre to act out in real life. Shit kinda crazy
Facts 🙌
People have murdered over cartoon characters. A psychotic mind is just a grenade waiting for something to pull that pin!
"What movie is this from? 'I Spit on Your Garage?'" Love Tatum!!
Yes Tatum is such a firecracker in this one
I think you missed two points
One is a dead giveaway, which is the look gives stu RIGHT after Tatum dies when he shows up at the door
The second isnt really a clue for WHO but for how many killers, when Billy/stu asks casey what door he's at, which was a trick question, he asks it right after he kills Steve and right after casey says "you tricked me"
It didn't matter what door she said, either way both would have been correct
The first I’ll be digging into more in a second video that talks about that look
And the second one is good but also has to be added with why the front door at Casey’s house was open when her parents got home
Clearly the killer from the back let in another person in the front
I may be just imagining this but I'm pretty sure when Billy is "attacked", there's no slashes or cuts on his shirt, just the fake blood. When he goes (/falls) downstairs next his t-shirt DOES have holes and stab marks so it looks like he made those himself while upstairs before attacking Sidney again with Stu.
I’ll need to take another look but you might be right
Bathroom ghostface wasn’t a killer.
1: no weapon
2: Stu is walking home with Tatum
3: She walked away from Billy to the bathroom. He couldn’t have got there first.
Stu wasn’t walking home already
In fact he grabs flowers and meets Tatum and Sid outside the high school
Also
It might be a prankster I’m open for that theory
@@NerdsAtNite i hope they do a film where the two pranksters go after sidney because they blame her for getting expelled thus changing the trajectory of their life.
“What are you doing with your life I mean it damn 30 years old” that line got me in shock😂 I haven’t watched any. I’m under arrest for watching happy movies😅
😂😂
I just noticed another possible clue: When Billy is recalling The Exorcist, he wiggles and points two fingers, while the camera pans across to the Indigo Girls poster - with two people on it. Two killers.
Very subtle clue
@@NerdsAtNite It could just as easily be nothing, but if it was intentional, how fun!
I think billies role was to have such obvious fingers pointed at him that we would assume it can’t be that easily guessed for us to not suspect him until the party then by the time we do suspect him again by the party because he’s not actually there until Tatum dies ; the movie doesn’t care if you know it’s him because they have you thinking he’s going to haunt the party which he doesn’t he gets faked attacked to turn your head again until he reveals himself . I think we’d less suspect his partner being stu if they kept the original script of Stu and Randy being a lot closer of friends instead of stu having a belittling demeanor towards him .
Fun fact: Joaquin Phoenix was offered the role of Billy in the first movie, but he turned it down.
Ohh interesting
@NerdsAtNite and check this out. Reese Witherspoon was offered the role of Sydney and she turned down the role. Ironically enough, Joaquin and Reese would go on to star in the Johnny Cash movie, Walk the Line. They both received Oscar nominations for their performances, Reese won.
Wow how wild 😮
Oh damn didn't know that. He would've been pretty perfect.
I'm glad that Skeet Ulrich got he role, because he's the only Ghostface that looked and felt menacing - Timothy Olyphant and Laurie Metcalf were solid.
Even in The Craft, Skeet Ulrich had that same general vibe, especially one particular scene.
The original scream also has a clue during the first kill that there are two killers. You can hear ghostface say hey to someone when the parents are listening on the phone towards the end of the scene.
😮😮
Nice catch
Seen a bunch of these videos breaking down all the clues... so this one had some new ones I had not thought about before but at the same time you miss most audio clues. However, with that said I don't blame you cause they are very subtle and almost inaudible, I had to rewatch a few scenes with audio being at 200% to hear them. When the killer is chasing Sid in the house he yells "easy, easy", and later on Stu says 'easy easy' when the girls pick on him. Also at the very beginning when lots of stuff is going on and the parents listen to the phone call you can hear two voices talking, but it's very unclear, the mom is screaming and the dad is talking and then you hear two muffled voices on the phone. Also each time ghostface gets hit he grunts, and Stu + Billy make different noises which says there are two killers.
Fair call out I had a good amount of people mention those in the comments
Yea they are def super subtle
But even knowing those after the fact adds some solid clues to the list
i noticed a good percent of the killers had died or attacked off screen.
Scream 3- Roman his "dead" body was found but we never see it happen
Scream IV- Charlie was seemingly attacked and tied up as a "trap"
Scream 6- the roomate was attacked in front of us but we never see her actually die
I feel if someone is a victim but we never see it. its safe to assume are the killer is them.
Billy is the only exception where we do see them get "killed" which was fake
Yea off screen kills are always sus
I think there is indeed another sde to Billy's movie references. You said that he couldn't differentiate between movies and reality and that the characters were real people. But I think that Billy would then use the character names and maybe attribute things the actors did in their private life to the character.
Instead he attributes the actions and emotions portrayed on screen in a weird way to the actors, blurring the lines between performance and real behaviour.
And this is where it gets interesting. Because this allows him to distance himself from the violent actions he does.
He does not see himself as the Ghostface killer but as the actor who plays the Ghostface killer and he sees his victims as actors playing victims.
There is a similar case in Scream 6 where Jason talks about perceiving his victims as meat.
But it also comes back to us in another way in Scream 5.
This movie talks about sexual frustration as a possible motivation; Stu is rejected by Casey and it seems like this is his motivation for revenge on Casey and Steve; equally Billy is sexually rejected by Sidney; but we know that he only wants to be close to her because he wants to take revenge on her dead mother; his relationship and probably most of his actions are a performance; in Scream 5 we are basically told that his sexual frustration might also be just an act as he might be sexually active with other partners;
In my not-so-Critical mind 30yrs ago, I guessed correctly...🤔...half correctly, that Billy was the killer; not because of his boots or the other clues such as Syd's mom and his dad, but one of his defining character trait upon his introduction was that he was a film buff like the killer, and the killer had an almost obsessive interest in Sydney specifically...like a boy chasing after a girl he likes. I wasn't even convinced that he was innocent when he was "killed" by Ghostface after he banged Sydney; I was blown away at the idea of there being two killers while waiting for Billy to miraculously survive his stabbing. With the realization of a second killer, I honestly suspected Dewy as I thought his character was a little too hokey which is ironic considering he's my favorite character in the series. 🤣 Once Stu was revealed, it made sense.
No lie first time I watched it I also thought it was Dewey as well up until he got stabbed
I thought Stu seemed super sus the whole time but I wasn’t smart enough to put one and two together like I could as I got older
@@NerdsAtNite BTW, Great catch of the strung-up doll looking eerily similar to the way Casey was disposed of. I never noticed that detail in all the times I've seen the movie. It's a subtle hint that practically tells you that Stu is a killer and because it takes place during a high-tension scene, it can be easily missed as our eyes are focused more on Syndey's plight. It's true what Bruce Lee said in Enter the Dragon "don't focus on the finger or you'll miss all this heavenly glory"... from a detective standpoint. 🤣
@@TONYGILLEY daps for the Bruce Lee quote love that movie and yea the doll is such a blink and you’ll miss it thing but it’s such a strong finger point moment to who the guilty party is
When i see scenes from scream i cant help but to think about scary movie lol "shes the daughter of umm..." 😂😂😂
“You know the one and only…” 😂
Such a funny scene
You missed the "Don't fear the Reaper" clue. It's playing in the first scene when Billy climbs through Sidney's window. A nod to when it plays the first time Laurie Strode sees Michael Myers.
I left that out cause personally I see it as an Easter egg and less of a clue
And lots of more conventional breakdowns of this movie include Easter eggs I just didn’t want to go that route
You forgot the part where Billy defends Stu when Stu said, "Did I kill Casey?" Then Billy says no one said you did, which means that Billy killed her
Stu “I didn’t kill anybody”
Billy “No one said you did”
Stu “thank you buddy”
Ff to 2009 then Kevin Williamson confirms on his Twitter that Stu killed Casey lol
matthew lillard - tour de force in Scream Stu was awesome
🙌🙌🔥
Good shit bro. Well said, I thoroughly enjoyed your video, and I look forward to seeing more!
Thank you 🙌
It always kinda bugged me when Sidney has the gun and is trying to decide whether to trust Stu or Randy & decides "fuck you both!" In a different scenario this would be smart but she literally saw ghostface approaching Randy from behind in the van. She knew Randy was a target so she could've let him in.
Yea she saw that and still didn’t believe him? What’s wrong with that girl
tbf one of the killers was a victim she watched get stabbed 🤣
@@papabumba478 I just laughed so loud at this 😂
Loved the video and VERY well put together! Keep up the great work!
Thank you very much! Will do 🙌
I don’t think I’ve ever actually solved a single mystery before a reveal. This video will be a major help in helping me actually solve it first…
Unless I just get caught up in the moment and miss even the most obvious of clues. Like I typically do😭
Even if you miss some of the clues hopefully atleast the rules will help you narrow down some suspects
Everytime I watch something with people I guess everything b4 it happens. Like mare of Eastown I figured out with like 3 episodes left. I was like ohh it was this person because of this but they are tryna make it look like this and people are like have you seen this b4? I'm like it hasn't even aired yet haha.

🙌🙌 thank you
Yea hoping more people see it but by bit
Currently working on the next one
There were two big clues for me that the killer was a teenage student that you didn't mention. The targetting of the principal was one because there was no good reason to kill him except he was the authority figure for the psycho. And how easily tiny Tatum was able to knock down the killer multiple times. I remember thinking there's no way that could be Sid's dad.
Of course, you probably didn't mention these clues because it was pretty obvious early on the killers were teenyboppers, but I'm always slow on the uptake during murder mysteries.
Great analysis of a great movie! More please.
Those are two good clues too
Thank you for checking it out
Currently Working on scream 2
"It's always someone we know."
Uh.... Mrs. Voorhees in Friday the 13th?
Which, I will insist, is a murder mystery as well as a slasher.
No need to insist I agree and it’s on the list to breakdown
you just checked for the person with the sweaty face. If they’ve been running around with one of those masks, they’re going to be looking like they just got through running around while wearing a mask.
Something I want to add about what makes Randy and Billy's talks about movies different is that Randy is full cinemafile as in while he can talk about horror movies all day he can also talk about other genres of film like comedy or sci fi if he's ever helping a customer pick out a movie.
Billy is the casual cinemafile where he can talk about movies all day only if they are in the horror genre.
As someone who's taken film classes you learn the different ways people talk about film as a whole and in parts.
Great video. Loving your content. Keep it up
🙌🙌 thank you very much!
Ok so I already watched this video yesterday but I came back to leave a comment asking you to make more of these. This was perfect. And although Scream is my favorite it doesn't have to only be the Scream franchise but please start there.
Thank you very much! Yea I just uploaded another scream vid today so the plan is to run thru the series and then return to some other murder mysteries after I’m done with this
@NerdsAtNite yes and I'm going to finish Death and other Details. Then come back to your channel.
@@mrbm3928 awesome hope you enjoy it
It was a fun show to breakdown and I kept having fun with my breakdowns as the season went on you’ll see what I mean when you watch it
Ep 1 and the last ep are almost completely different with how I broke it down
I think Roman from the third scream was in this film because there's an Easter egg where Sid and Tatum walk through the store where you can see Ghostface reflection, but in the fridge, there's a product that actually says Roman. I know it doesn't prove he's in the film or weather it's a coincidence.
I’m a fan of that theory
When I first watched Scream I noticed the bathroom attack scene had me on Billy due to the boots but I did not know Stu until the reveal.
True. Rite before that when Billy approached Sidney in the hall, as Billy walked I thought it strange that they’d show his feet and shoes in particular, just before showing the same shoes moments later in the stall.
Damn i never notice they boots at the fountain big clue.💯😂
Yea it’s not really noticeable unless you’re looking for it lol

@NerdsAtNite Please please please do! 5 more Scream films to go and a 7th next year.
Goal is to finish the series by the time that comes out I’m happy I’ve got a good amount of time to do so cause this took a good amount of time to catch everything
Yes. Don't rush. It takes time to produce quality content. Gonna tweet out this video too.
It does this one took a few weeks and I really appreciate that thank you!
i will also say i never realized the black boots in the fountain scene that was great!
It’s one of those things you don’t notice til you notice it
You should watch such murder mysteries as The Menu, The Others, The Shining, The Prestige, Scream 2 and 3, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and Crimson Peak and Mama.
You forgot Billy’s pants 👖 dark blue denim seen in every ghost face scene 😊
Good catch
Scream 1996 (acoustic version of don't fear the reaper plays in the background when Billy sneaks into Sidney's room).
Can't wait for your breakdown of the rest of the franchise.
🙌🔥🔥
U can tell Billy is involved at Casey’s house….
*When ghostface runs across the foyer, he’s hunched over.
*When ghostface is looking through the house, he’s hunched over.
*When Billy leaves the video store after confronting Randy, he’s hunched over.
*Bonus…In the scene where Stu stabs Billy, he’s hunched over.
Coincidences…i think not!!
🙌🙌
@@NerdsAtNite also forgot, when Billy stabs Stu, he’s also hunched over.
The 2 at Casey’s house & when Stu stabs him, he’s facing left.
At the video store, he’s facing right.
For what that’s worth. Just useless observation. 😂😂
Cool little detail tho 😂
Not sure if mentioned earlier- when Billy is at the door that Stu opens (arriving at the party), he gives a subtle eyebrow nod to Stu he just killed Tatum.
We talked about this on the latest vid
You can also tell who killed who by the knife handling. Stu does the double hand and Billy is the one handed knifer and it was Billy that killed Tatum. Right after that Billy shows up and gives Stu a wink look like the deed has been done
Yea each killer has their own kill style
And it’s never been verified it was Billy that killed Tatum
Notice how the killer goes back into the party
Now thinking practically why would Billy go inside just to go back outside another way then to just appear at the front door?
Why wouldn’t he just go out of the garage thru the garage
That door was def opened lol
He can avoid being seeing by anyone and can still make it to the front door
My suspicion is he gave Stu the look because that meant principle Hembry was now tied up on the football field
Something that would likely be done while people are inside for curfew at night
and not during the day
@@NerdsAtNiteAbsolutely. Also Billy wouldn’t been locked into the garage the same as Tatum had been. Only someone from inside the party could’ve unlocked the door from inside, then return back into the door Tatum was locked out of.
Please do the entire series! This video was great!
Working on prt 2 currently
@@NerdsAtNite Nice! I wonder if you’ll get to one of them and be like, “Actually, no. There are no discernible clues in this one to determine the killer(s). Oh, well!”
😂 funny enough scream 2 has some clues that are tough to find
There is one clue that you missed and I’m not sure if anyone else picked up on it but at the school there are 2 kids running around in the killers costume and you see them getting into trouble with the principal. Go forward to the party at Stu’s place and you see the same 2 kids drinking beer with Stu. He would have told them to do this and they can come to the party. They obviously didn’t understand how bad it was when the principal threatened with expulsion coz Stu would have told them it’s a fun prank and then to get rid of them so they could complete the killings at set themselves as victims, Billy calls the house to say the principal is dead and they jump at the chance to see this as they would have been upset with him
I’m with you up until Billy Calling cause he wouldn’t have called cause he was still in the bedroom with Sid
It would’ve had to have been Stu
It works that way in chronological order in the movie
I picked out ethan and quinn from scream 6 BUUUT not the detective that was came as a surprise i was like damn it lmfao
Thanks for the tips. I'm gonna put them to use the next time I watch a murder mystery movie.
You’re welcome hope they help you in solving who did it
I knew who the killers in scream 5 were in the hospital scene when Ricky only got a slice on his arm and was left alone completely and when the goth girl was in the basement. It was to obvious. I hate scream 5 so much for these reasons and a lot more.
I remember the scene where sydney held both randy and stew at gunpoint.
However since i only watched the german version, stew never said „he killed billy“.
He only said „er hat meine freundin getötet“ ( he killed my girlfriend )
Ohh interesting
So he says that too in the English one he says
“He killed Billy, he killed my Tatum!”
Its interesting in the translated version they only kept one line
I noticed alot of these whilst watching. There's a good one you missed. When Billy arrived to Stu's house during the party he gives Stu a look letting him know that he had taken care of the head teacher.
Good catch
So that one I mentioned in the who killed Tatum vid I did
@@NerdsAtNite I will go check that one out right now
🙌🙌 awesome
The ghostface in the stall wasnt billy or stu, it was another student pranking sid (stu is with tatum and sid just left billy). That ghostface didnt have a knife and was most likely one of the two students in the office of the principle and in the scene after the attack we see a news reporter talking about a prank involving the ghostface costume. Oh and one clue you missed: after sid and billy had sex she asked him about his phone call and realized after that that billy and cotton have the same hairstyle (the only reason we saw cotton on tv for a short time is to see what he looks like) and that she mistook billy, who purpusfully wore cottons jacket, for cotton on the night of her mums murder. Sid even says "oh my god" or something like this before she saw ghostface approaching and "killing" billy.
I absolutely loathe that scene. If I could re-cut Scream, I'd cut as the bitchy girls left and cut out Ghostface in the background of the woods and grocery store.
I’ve heard this theory which may be a thing it may not be, in my narrative it’s Stu but Im open about it being a prank
The hair thing is a solid clue
But I think Sid’s reaction was more about ghostface attacking Billy and less about a light bulb moment even tho I do kinda like that it adds another layer to that moment
excellent video, thank you!❤
Thank you!
A wise man once said "TV doesn't create psychos, cancelling TV Shows does."
🙌🔥
“the wayans brothers was a good show man. it was a good ass show and we didn’t even get a final episode!”
The line that no one seems to point out is what confirmed Stu for me when it first came out:
"I'm going for another beer, you want one?"
If he was going to the garage for beer he would have seen Tatum - and if we was innocent seconds later we would have heard him freaking out. He either went and got the beer without caring about her dead body or he was using that as an excuse to go do something else. Like dress up as ghostface and gut people
Love that and talked about this in my who killed Tatum video
When it comes to seeing him in the store and the bushes and the bathroom attack. I always like the theory that it wasnt Billy or Stu. I think it was some other student that was "pranking" Cindy after the attack...
And in my opinion the garage attack was Billy not Stu.. Stu sent his girlfriend there knowing Billy would be waiting, thats why when Billy meets Cindy at the front door hes out of breath.
I like the prankster theory
Or the Roman theory either is fine and can work
And unpopular belief but it’s Stu
The next vid I drop will really dig into why I think so
But look at the height differential. He’s a lot taller than her. Billy is around the girl’s height. Not a foot taller almost like Stu.
Good video dude keep it up
Thank you, will do!
Billys phone wasn't a distraction he was the caller talking to Sidney probably outside her window that's why when she asks what she's doing he don't know Stu definitely don't cause he's hiding in closet once call over billy left phone at his spot he had that phone that was you say a distraction so he can drop it Stu runs out front leaves mask and while billy is consulting Sidney he's running past grabbing the phone which later turns out to be sids dads phone who they took from after they kidnapped him after billy saw Sidney lol
Good observation. I was wanting to point this out, too. But Billy dropping his phone definitely is a distraction; he is purposefully planting the idea that he might have called (and tried to kill Sid) just so he would be ruled out by the police and put Sid in a false sense of security around him
Wow,..... Scream came out in '96. In '96 I graduated HS and later that year I bought my N64. Oh also I saw scream in theaters. Damn, time just seems to disappear, doesn't it?
Time moves so fast 10 years later I graduated lol but that’s wild to think where you were when it came out
The original Friday the 13th was a murder mystery and the Killer was someone we've never met.
Yea great point I’ll add it to the list
But the second Mrs. Voorhees says, "Oh, I'm not afraid." Outed herself as the killer. Anyone else would definitely be afraid.
If I remember correctly, it's because she was already an established actress and made a lot more than the rest of the unknown cast. Enough to buy a car, apparently. Also, she wasn't the first choice, just the first to not turn them down.
Props to including Ryan George
Big fan of his
This made me appreciate it even more
So glad you enjoyed it!
I feel like this one , they made it a lil too easy
But I guess I can say that for all them … only shocking killer reveal was scream 2 and scream 4
I kinda guessed Jill later in the movie before the reveal. She got attacked but only cut on the arm. And she acts sketchy at Kirby’s house towards the end when she says she didn’t text Trevor and goes looking for her phone. But I did not guess Charlie. I figured it was Jill and Trevor.
Only reference for Mrs. Loomis was when she was (as Debbie) the first to suggest the mastermind was from Woodsboro. She knew because she was the mastermind. lol
Scream 5 the girl I was like no way that little thing lifted up dewey
@@tonyacosta4574 😹😹😹seriouslyyy
@@BrookeLynnThyRemedy yes she would of been crying after being shot that much even with a vest that shit hurts normal person would of broke out in pain
The most obvious one I totally missed was Stu saying he was going out to the garage to get a beer...than totally ignores his girlfriend hanging in the doggy door. That should've been a dead giveaway. But I wasn't paying attention apparently. Granted I was twelve when I saw it and assumed the killer had to be older than high school age.
Ahhh yea I thought about that after the fact it’s such a glaring hole for him once you sit back and think about it
@@NerdsAtNite Billy on the other hand was sus from minute one, scene one. But I thought he was way too obvious so it couldn't be him. Lol.
@@ct6852 yes the movie did a great job with the suspect who is too obvious to be that obvious so while I did have my suspicions I just over looked him the first time
Ghostface killed Kenny. That bastard!
😂
