A thumb grip helps with big hands. Make sure to get the folding style. The fixed thump grip, even notched, interferes with the rear command dial. I love love love this camera. This and the Xpro3 satisfies my passion for shooting film rangefinders
Lightroom fuji film profiles fall short of the fuji orig. I would process thru fuji x raw converter, doing bulk exposure and wb changes there. Save out jpgs and use LR on those just to add grads and vignettes
There are just so many fantastic options these days. I am on a G85 due to budget with the leica 12-60 I scored as an AMAZING deal - sold my 12-60 lumix for the same amount, and then the 20mm f1.7 pancake for a walk/street. I really want to add the 35-100 f2.8 for sports on the ocean. I am very let down by the picture quality, especially if it is a biiit dark or I want a fast shutter speed for the water and sport - even a decently lit dinner table with the family is too dark for m43 images and I've been eyeing the s5 or a used a7c/a7iii for a while but I just cannot justify the price comparing it to how little I got my other gear for. 420usd/400eur for my entire m43 kit listed. Every time I get let down by the m43 sensor I go browse for a larger sensor option and I realize that my kit is 1/8th of the price but definitely not 1/8th of the quality and I am less let down. This is only for photo, for video it is stellar! With I had 4k60 as the 1080p60 is terrible and I love some slowmo water sports, but the 4k30 is stellar. I will probably get a g9 within a years time when I see a nice used offer, or simply wait a couple of years and jump an a7cii or a7iv used... I recommended the x100v for my sis for general purpose. We are just so spoiled by amazing choices! Sorry haha, I ended up rambling. Do you have any experience with the 35-100mm f2.8?
I agree, we are spoiled for choice nowadays and we can make amazing images with pretty much any camera from any brand. I really regret not buying the 20mm f1.7, it probably would have been my favourite lens. I bought the 35-100mm f2.8 on day one when I got my GH4, it is an outstanding lens. It is sharp, small, weather sealed, and doesn't extend when you zoom. I think it is the best 70-200mm equivalent on any system and is a "must have" for any micro four thirds shooter. The lens also renders a very pleasing image and is awesome for video too.
@@Robservatory For everyday and street I use the X100V. For the attention to detail the X-T3. For fun the X-T1. For the street, if I use a focal length other than 23mm, the X-E3.
I am waiting for these to be IN STOCK at B&H, I refuse to pay way over its original price, i am saving for a LEICA Q2, So watching all my pennies. I am NOT into VIDEOS at all, so this is PERFECT! Nice video here.
Thank you! Hopefully it is back in stock soon, this has been a tough camera to find. I was looking at the Q2 as well, but the smaller size and colour science of the Fuji has me second guessing if I want the Q2 anymore.
I didn’t notice that you had the Fuji filter adapter. Better get one. The lens moves in and out and if you are putting your filter backwards directly to the lens if you focus on anything close up you will damage the focus motors. Don’t do that.

Nice! That is the type of grip I’m getting, should probably order that today.
You should use Capture One to convert your raw file for Fuji camera, Lightroom can't properly convert the raw files.

Great advice! The fuji jpgs definitely have superior colours to the LR versions. The Lightroom versions are still quite nice though!

I love all my Fuji cameras including the X100V! Thanks for this video!
My pleasure! Which is your favourite Fuji camera and why?

Get the case by Kaza deluxe to improve grip
Thanks I’ll take a look at that case.

I have the filter adapter ring, all is well.
