These are outrageously expensive for what is essentially a relay and a small amount of electronics to talk to the inverter, but I've sucked it up and paid $2k + installation for it explicitly so I can charge exclusively from solar - and from what I could determine this is the only one that can do that. I really hope it's worth it.
Did u hv to add the smart meter to get the excess solar feature? The only other one I think can do it is a zappi charger.
@@forzer456 I already had the smart meter. The zappo actually looks like a good alternative but it comes with current clamps that need installing as well, and you can't control priorities (if you have multiple fronius devices like an ohm pilot)
