Suggested video and glad I came to check it out. Very good guide and quite possibly the most relaxing voice for guide making! As someone who also enjoys fishing and cooking I'm trying to supply people in my raid group that don't have much time to gather what they need and this will help a ton!
every way to make gold basically requires farming of some sort. Farming isn’t usually fun for most players. My favorite way to farm gold is to run dungeons. Brd best dungeon runs to get gold and you get to play with other players instead of farming alone solo. I had no trouble whatsoever getting enough gold for my epic mount at 60. Tons of cloth, easy mobs, huge instance tons of grey and trash to sell. I think the reason why most people have trouble getting gold is because they underestimate how fast all that trash adds up.
Zandalar tribe -eu it’s rppvp high pop as a warrior I was hopefully seeing this that it could be a good way of making money but no good really I’ll have to stick to strath live
Can you do a video covering "Natural" generation of gold please? By this I mean, gold made by NPC killing, that _DOESN'T_ require AH sales. I've been noticing a problem on small classic servers wherein no one has enough money to actually buy anything, and it's a resulted in collapsed AH prices. I'm on Deviate Delight, and RPPVP server, and I can't even get rid of *[Krol Blade].* I've had it two weeks and I can't even sell it for 200g, when it is a 500g item on bigger realms, and back in the day. Crusader is starting to drop below 200g on AH, and I, who needs it, can't buy it either cause I'm dumping gold into raid mats and repairs. Basically selling things to each other on AH doesn't work when we're all too broke getting supplies for raids, and no money to invest into gear or alt gear. The fundamental problem is the game only "makes new gold" through 3 processes. 1. Quest Rewards. 2. Creatures drop coins. 3. Vendoring Items. Here are the issues with that: 1. Quests are finite. I've done almost all of them so I've exhausted that supply of new gold. Daily quests aren't a thing so Quests are a finite gold resource. 2. Coin drops are minimal at best, and any creature that would drop decent amounts of silver, 5-10 per mob, are generally elite or in dungeons. Also if you aren't an AoE farm class doing lower level dungeons isn't a great option. 3. This seems like the best option. I know beasts drop good vendor greys, both body parts and 1g trash weapons like 2h hammers and stuff. Also some mobs have a better green item drop rate, and that could factor in, in terms of vendoring Greens. So the last one is something I'd love for you to explore, what beast mobs are the best gold/hour rate, for generating non AH gold? Just raw natural gold mined up outta the code. What mobs have good green drop rates? I suspect that the beasts in WPL or EPL are probably best, but I could be wrong. You're a smart guy and I figure you can tease this stuff up from the internet better than I can. Thanks if you read this!!
Also note, the _Reason_ this is a big problem, and isn't just "enjoy the cheap prices" is that Hard Coded into the game are fixed prices. Epic mounts cost the same, no matter how much Krol Blade sells for. So on a big server an Epic Mount = 2 Krol Blade, and on my server and Epic mount = 5 Krol Blade. (I'm just using the Blade as a familiar anecdote) Over time, this affects progression, and makes small servers fall further and further behind. So having a good way to make "raw gold" would help people like me who _would_ farm for hours, but don't because most "gold farming" guides are based on AH sales, be able to inject fresh gold into the market. I'm not gonna farm items for hours only to watch them not sell and waste money on listing costs...
Nicolas P. Cage, you’re talking about a lot, so let me see how I am imagining such a video. You’re interested on what mobs you can farm that drop high value vendor items to earn a higher rate of “static” gold am I right?
@@Icosiol Lol yes, you've condensed my question down, well done. Most of what I said was just preamble, giving context as to _why_ someone would rather farm vendor trash over AH sellable items. Like I said, I know beasts drop 1g vendor items. It would be nice to know which beasts drop the _most_ of those so I could focus my time best. Also, some creatures seems to drop greens more often, and that would be useful to know which, again, for vendoring purposes. Basically I can't buy AH items cause no one is buying _my_ items. I can't buy Crusader for 225g when no one will buy my Krol Blade for 200g. The player side of the economy on smaller servers seems to be breaking down a bit, and it would be nice to just farm up gold, without having to rely on selling things to other players, who are also short on gold. If I need to kills bears and spiders in WPL for hours, I'll do it, I just wanna know where is best to spend that time. I'd like to buy that Crusader from gold that I generate, rather than waiting till I sell items, and then using that money, in kind of a borrow from Peter to pay Paul scenario.
That’s going to take a lot of research, and I am not even level 60 yet to really try out those farms for real in game results. In the meantime though you should check out Frostadamus’s channel and his series “Rags to Riches”. He talks about all of that, so definitely check him out.

I like the guide. Unfortunately im not a big fan of the AH in classic. The prices always seem like ur better off vendoring items these days no matter what.
VERY informative and very well put together, i have a coorection for the nightfin snappers and sunscale salmon, they can both be caught both day and night but it is very rare for the opposite side of day (sunscale at night and nightfin in the day) i have caught a couple sumscales after midnight, only the nightfins are worth anything on my server unfortunately

@@dennisaskeland7603 yeah once you look at how long it takes to catch a stack of say wintersquid and the price it sells for 5g on my server, you start thinking maybe just not worth the time investment. Learned a lot about the cooking profession like seasonal fish and river fish. Ill definitely be saving this for when my fishing is a little higher.

THank you! as always love the pacing and use of AE!!
Pardon my ignorance, but what is AE?
I believe after effects
You missed Dragon breath chili. I sell for 95s-1.3g per chili. Great for melee DPS or Tanks for better AoE damage and threat.
Just found your channel and love The Work you put into it. But could you do one for shadowlands please.
Cheers.
