It had agility stats that lasted me all the way through Lich King, and would proc a windmill that would fight at your side for 10 min.
Thunderbrew's Boot Flask is a fairly useful trinket. By the time I hit 40 on my Druid tank I didn't have any trinkets yet so doing that quest was worthwhile. Now I have a 30min button to stop a wipe from happening when one of the dps gets a little too gung-ho and I need to build aggro on everything right that instant. As a rogue, i realized it was slice and dice or fishliver oil, they replaced which ever was used last, unlike blade flurry stacking with slice and dice
Last time I checked the bag of marbles tool tip on classic said that it will not work on mobs over lvl 45. I don't remember that being on the tool tip in vanilla. So, the devs probably patched it due to the potential to exploit the item. And hit never really gave a crap about PvP in general. It was a great walk down memory lane though, thanks for the video!
Billy after having completed the quest multiple times now, the tooltip does not have a level cap on it. It’s a shame because I ended up selling them on my first classic character after reading it. As far as the reduction to hit and PvP, 25% is nothing to laugh at... so I’m sure it would be effective but not sure if that would be the best use for the item.
Barov peasant caller is super underrated. And here's why. I think its STRONGEST use that I see NO ONE talk about is its strength against rogues. I specifically remember blinding my target for a restealth and him being able to pop this trinket WHILE blinded preventing me from getting a restealth. Doing this to a rogue is literally everything. Forcing a preperation or vanish etc. Your skipping the damn blind and forcing huge cooldowns at the ring of a bell and with your eyes literally closed! XD Now I did some deep thinking on this ofcourse about how this was possible... and I'm guessing because the game mechanics recognize blind as a "poison" rather than a stun or incapacitation. Looking back at the scenario I was in - I wonder if responding to the problem with a grenade or some form of consumable AoE would kill the peasants allowing me to take atleast some advantage of the blind downtime for restealth. I would love to test this. But regardless - I still think that's it's best use in pvp is using while blinded.

I have a small question about the speed boost type items, can they stack up with a cast or buff toward certain classes therefore adding an extra percentage on top of each other? Example, Hunters have Cheetah aspect which grants them 30% speed but if they have it already on and use the stop watch making it 70% in the end for the 10 seconds? Or a druid using the trinket and popping into travel form/pop into cat and use dash right after...and Rogues? Anyone test this?

It doesn't work... Blizzard nerfed it. Equiping usable items ALWAYS triggers 30sec CD on them. So changing them mid-combat is useless. This is not Vanilla. This is the modern, "rebalanced" Classic. Go play free servers if you want this to work the way it used to in original Vanilla.
@@michalvalta5231 "So changing them mid-combat is useless." As a hunter or a rogue, changing your trinkets mid-combat most definitely isn't useless, even if there is a 30 sec cd.
There is a lvl 3 quest at the inn in Goldshire, to go get kobold candles from the nearest mine, which can be done in tandem with the gold dust quest. This chains into a delivery to stormwind where you turn in to receive 1 of 3 different consumables. Only one of them is a stack of 15 explosive rockets that have no use requirement, a short cooldown, and do 35 damage at decent range. This item isn't bound, and can be sold in AH, or mailed to your other characters, allowing for example, a Prot Paladin to pull mobs in dungeons without spec'ing into Holy shock. Personally I create new characters, grind them for gear and xp to lvl 3.8 in northshire, and then turn in 2 quests (Wolves/Kobolds), and go to goldshire Inn to pickup lvl 3 quest. Kill a couple lvl 5 spiders on the way to the mine, and fight kobolds until completing the quest. Then return to the inn (usually by dieing to save time cause I do this, a lot of times) and then deliver candles to Stormwind trade district on my way to the Stormwind inn to sell all my gear and equipment and mail the remaining silver and explosive rockets to my main tank. Then I delete the character after receiving the mail on my main and repeat the process. Easiest time with Warrior, only farmable like this with human characters on alliance.
Do you know of Magic Candles? Can be farmed on any char. Has 1 min cd tho. But if mobs are scary enough for a needed range-pull, you will prob fight for 1 min anyway. classic.wowhead.com/item=1399/magic-candle

Maybe the Light of Elune was put in the game for people to use it during a certain time in C'Thun, and since everybody had consumed it by then, everyone wiped...leading to the Blizz nerfing him...
if you haven't turned in the first part you should be able to. Otherwise go back to the questgiver where you last left off. I think i dropped it for a bit when I was on the blazerunner part near the end so i could pick up more dungeon quests and came back to it afterwards.

I have linkins sword on my retail account for transmog, sadly it is not a unique model.
Key To Searing Gorge is not very useful but in early days there was no FP at Thorium Point so was vary important when raiding MC.
Good to know now that I’m leveling my warrior
It doesn't work... Blizzard nerfed it. Equiping usable items ALWAYS triggers 30sec CD on them. So changing them mid-combat is useless. This is not Vanilla. This is the modern, "rebalanced" Classic. Go play free servers if you want this to work the way it used to in original Vanilla.
@@michalvalta5231 "So changing them mid-combat is useless."
As a hunter or a rogue, changing your trinkets mid-combat most definitely isn't useless, even if there is a 30 sec cd.
wait skull of impending doom says it does 100-500damage EVERY 2 SECONDS, that means it could do 2500 damage? thats horrible.
Any word on the use of the bag of marbles?
Is it still as strong or is it patched (against raid bosses)?
Do the umguro crystal pylons quests and winterspring Eko quests too as they come in hand for pve
Use the bag of marbles on a main tank in world bosses when they pull!
Sold the marbles
Why does 2h vs dual wield matter for a hunter? Aren’t the melee weapons just stat sticks for them? Or is there some advantage I’m missing?
2h hits harder when jousting when you go in melee for a wing clip + raptor strike. Other than that, yeah, stat sticks.
But if mobs are scary enough for a needed range-pull, you will prob fight for 1 min anyway.

or you can just make/buy ez thro dynamite which can be used by non-engineers
As a warrior if an enemy is below the lumbermill, you can jump towards them and charge or intercept to land safely without getting hurt.
Its one of my favorite ways to gank on arathi basin.
Should i play classic now? Is there a TBC classic too?
I have 21000 hours of play time and stopped after wotlk due to Blizzard faults...
Is it worth it to play it again?
skull of impending doom is Nerf very much in classic right now it does TBC damage for some reason not the normal classic moment.
1. Skull of Impending Doom - Badlands
2. Nifty Stopwatch - Badlands
3. Bag of Marbles (10 charges) - Goldshire
4. Light of Elune (1 charge) - Ashenvale
5. Noggenfogger Elixir - Tanaris
6. Linken's Boomeragn - Un'goro
7. Barov Peasant Caller - Western Plaguelands
I found bag of marbles to be resisted quite often on higher levels. And Ive ran out of charges by the time I was lvl 40...
Yeah. It's pretty useless.
your shit was really good. hope you are well. happy holidays!
I still have my Light of Elune from vanilla and I still have it on my decked out 120 Mage.
"Yo guys, pockaranevidyoo" ❤
Ray Charles Bahahahahaha I thought the same thing, I replayed the first 5 seconds of the video 3 times like “what in the fuck did he just say?” Lol
Pokranovviyo
Absolutely lazy and sounds like shit.
Slowing the speed down really lets you hear it.
(Somebody should seriously do a compilation of the intros in a video)
Maybe the Light of Elune was put in the game for people to use it during a certain time in C'Thun, and since everybody had consumed it by then, everyone wiped...leading to the Blizz nerfing him...
Chunkrat video PogU
Can you use Bag of Marbles on Onyxia?
How do you spell gyroscope? :)
Technically the chain is broken up in a weird way and actually starts with the Doomsayer's Robe quest for pre-instance uldaman.
are those items still in retial?
" i did research" ... I mean i read the comments. Lmfao
Scorpid surprise is a better skull of impending doom. Horde only and has to be used preemptively
Horde have a Marbles semi-equiv called Sticky Glue thats a 10 use trapping item.
thats even better than the marbles
I still got my 10 in my bank lol
The long ungoro chain quest, if you abandon it you cannot get it from the boat again can you
if you haven't turned in the first part you should be able to. Otherwise go back to the questgiver where you last left off. I think i dropped it for a bit when I was on the blazerunner part near the end so i could pick up more dungeon quests and came back to it afterwards.
@@ac304104 ah ty
ill try that
using Really Sticky Glue on a raid boss in TBC and watching my entire guild lose their shit was a great memory
