@// Deadset there was a way for hunters to get 10% mount speed from a Talent point but that might have been TBC with the Spurs and that Trinket you would have some speedy Hunters
@// Deadset I was wearing a carrot on a stick and a lvl 50 warlock was easily able to catch up to me. I was surprised because I thought even if he had spurs he wouldn't be much fast than me, but it was noticeable.
You forgot about "Really Sticky Glue". 10 charges that will root enemies for 10 seconds. It's great for PvP and this quest is for level 6. I love your videos keep up the good work man.
I'd say the elite quest in hinterlands that provides the ap / hit chance trinket is bloody important. Definitely a trinket that is heavily used in the early stages of the end game imo. It's ad specific though.
My favourite trinket in retail was that windmill you get in Ungoro from the quest chain involving Maximillian - a knight errant who'd been out in the woods too long and had developed some rather quirky delusions. It had agility stats that lasted me all the way through Lich King, and would proc a windmill that would fight at your side for 10 min.
Their used to be a recipe fire breathing chili or something similar to that, I think you actually puked on your enemies when you burped which did damage
What about the quest that gives you "Datrol's rod of transformation"? 3 mins of furbolg transformation is cool, just don't hand in the skull at the quest end, or you lose the rod.
Thunderbrew's Boot Flask is a fairly useful trinket. By the time I hit 40 on my Druid tank I didn't have any trinkets yet so doing that quest was worthwhile. Now I have a 30min button to stop a wipe from happening when one of the dps gets a little too gung-ho and I need to build aggro on everything right that instant. Not end game viable, but a nice to have when it becomes available.
Don't forget Mark of the Chosen! Has a 2% chance when struck in combat of increasing all stats by 25 for 1 min. As a tank I must say I loved this trinket
I got light of Elune on every Alliance character I ever rolled...and I got quite a few to level 26+. Out of all those characters I used it once...and it wasnt even in PVP. But yeah, I never wanted to use it since it was a one time deal. Quite playing a decade ago, but makes me want to go back and use it in a BG or big world PVP situation.
Very good. But you missed an important feature of the Noggenfogger elixir, when you drink it, it says 'you are not breathing'. I've tested this and this means it functions as an underwater no breath potion.
Fishliver Oil is a quest reward you get after completing a super simple fishing/kill murloc quest in Redridge Mountains (alliance only) the on use effect is 10% faster attack speed for 30 sec. really quite amazing.
As a rogue, i realized it was slice and dice or fishliver oil, they replaced which ever was used last, unlike blade flurry stacking with slice and dice
Absolutely loved the barons trinket. Saved my ass so many times. Even won a couple 2v1s on my warrior tank when some hordies thought they had the upper hand
Not a quest reward, but pretty underapreciated aswell is Magic Dust from westfall dust elementals. Its a consumable that stuns the target for 10sec. It's pretty expensive on the ah
I got my light og Elune, and used it. It saved my life, but it was a mistake. I did not realise it was one use. Well, if I had known it would probably just sot there, as you stated.
I remember back in the day Light of Elune was notBoP, but was limit 1. I kept buying them off the AH for a few silver and mailing them back and forth to myself. Then BoP patch hit and I ended up with like 20 of the things on a bank alt and only 3-4 on my main. :p

Also the mount speed trinket from Zul Farak is very useful.

Last time I checked the bag of marbles tool tip on classic said that it will not work on mobs over lvl 45. I don't remember that being on the tool tip in vanilla. So, the devs probably patched it due to the potential to exploit the item. And hit never really gave a crap about PvP in general. It was a great walk down memory lane though, thanks for the video!
Billy after having completed the quest multiple times now, the tooltip does not have a level cap on it. It’s a shame because I ended up selling them on my first classic character after reading it. As far as the reduction to hit and PvP, 25% is nothing to laugh at... so I’m sure it would be effective but not sure if that would be the best use for the item.

I specifically remember blinding my target for a restealth and him being able to pop this trinket WHILE blinded preventing me from getting a restealth. Doing this to a rogue is literally everything. Forcing a preperation or vanish etc. Your skipping the damn blind and forcing huge cooldowns at the ring of a bell and with your eyes literally closed! XD Now I did some deep thinking on this ofcourse about how this was possible... and I'm guessing because the game mechanics recognize blind as a "poison" rather than a stun or incapacitation. Looking back at the scenario I was in - I wonder if responding to the problem with a grenade or some form of consumable AoE would kill the peasants allowing me to take atleast some advantage of the blind downtime for restealth. I would love to test this. But regardless - I still think that's it's best use in pvp is using while blinded.

you forgot to mention the skeleton effect increases your underwater breathing by a bit too
Technically the chain is broken up in a weird way and actually starts with the Doomsayer's Robe quest for pre-instance uldaman.
Do the umguro crystal pylons quests and winterspring Eko quests too as they come in hand for pve
I dont understand why skull of impending doom is supposed to be useful? There's a 30 second cooldown when you put it on before you can use it.
Yeah, same....its okay if you dual wield but really...waiting 30sec is pretty shitty
@@Fulgrim_The_Phoenician it can be swapped to mid fight. using it helps you prevent taking durability loss. the 60% increase helps with runback in places that are unmountable
@@JT-91 but when you swap it, it has a 30sec cooldown before you can use it...
@@Fulgrim_The_Phoenician yes, but it can save you from a rogue's full opener, or a mage uses sheep, and you see it casting , you can swap and stun him or you get charmed by a lock and see it casting soul fire, swampand silence or stun it. in a bg, its ok, bc you have healers.
I wish I saw this video sooner, I sold bag of marbles because I wasn't bothered by its gimmick while levelling, had no idea they would become useful in later levels... rip
You sound a lot like another good youtuber I like. The channel is called Liberal Hivemind. Similar voice and the way you apply your emphasis is eerily congruent. Seriously, are you the same person? Either way, great video and thanks for the help.
Essence of Eranikus is also a decent one for AoE damage- but DON’T complete the quest chain else you lose the trinket forever :(
On what server can you run into 100 horde without lagging into oblivion?
i have a thinket what having a proc, when its proc stats raise at 25. Quest is The Pariah's Instructions
