lol this is epic! I replaced mine on a 325e, and I didn't know that people even removed the intake for the job, so I struggled for about two hours, fiddling with it before I got it in there! Thanks so much for an awesome video!
You are welcome! Replacing the breather hose wasn’t our original video, but it took so long and it was so complicated that we decided to make it the video. Diane & Paul 😀😎
You kids and your hip pop culture references! 😁 Congratulations! I just got a pair of those double-jointed long pliers a year or two ago, and it's a nice option to have. Mundane things that come in handy in the shop: Scotch tape twine Scissors Wire/baling wire/safety wire Rubber bands Wire coat hangers! What else? Congrats on replacing your old hose! For your next act, clean the inside of that throttle body! Just some paper towels andsome cleaner. There is a CRC throttle body spray that I believe is meant to not attack bronze/brass throttle shaft bushings. I just use a judicious amount of Super Clean and paper towels. You might find a lot of krunk on the edge of the throttle plate where just-above-idle air goes, and on the backside there, too.
It's a deal! We will put cleaning our throttle body on the list of projects. I'll do it when I clean the idle control valve. Thanks for your support and knowledge! Diane & Paul 😊😎
@@carzombies yeah. alcohol evaporates, as silicone and petroleum products do not, risking a possible popping off of the hose! (Don't ask me about my turbo blow off valve). The hooks help to separate the hose from the bib, as they can slip between the two and break the stiction. Also, they help reach around the hose during installation if it gets caught on the edge. Harbor freight has them.

By the way, I can't believe I let that "pop culture" comment (I assume about Jack Benny) and "kids" comment go by. Very funny! 😜

Looked like maybe time to clean your throttle body, very easy
We agree! We have it on the list...

hose hooks. Alcohol helps to get it back on. Intake manifold.
I like the alcohol idea, but need to look up hose hooks (new to me). Thanks for the suggestions!
