    Thank you for dismissing any foolish notions I might have had about wanting this engine combination. Good video.

    Hi did you make a video showing how to remove the EGR cooler (mentioned at 2:28)? Would like to find the best way to insert an EGR blank with a small hole to help prevent clogging the engine. Also, where are you located at and how do I contact you privately? Thanks!

    Curious to see the inside of that there puma.. I have the 3.5 ecoboost in mine that I’m real happy with but always curious to see what other options I may have next time.

      The 3.5 twin turbo ecoboost is a really nice application. You would not be disappointed.

    Will cradle not drop out to the bottom with transmission? Such as a front wheel drive?

    Why did this fail and what year is this ? Would you recommend buying a 3.2 diesel?

  • @PatriotGearReviewsCt
    @PatriotGearReviewsCt 7 лет назад

    Hey man I'm still having a hard time choosing between motors. Do you think I'd be better off getting the diesel from the 100k warranty and reliability standpoint?

    • @PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod
      @PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod  7 лет назад

      +Patriot77 100k warranty on JUST the engine. What makes you think, not being a smart ass or anything, that the diesel will be more reliable...?

    • @PatriotGearReviewsCt
      @PatriotGearReviewsCt 7 лет назад

      Just seems like a lot of people have issues with carbon build up on the backside of the valves with the ecoboost along with other turbo problems. the 3.7 seems like its going to work to move that beast. Being a Mechanic and knowing what you do which motor would you pick out of the 3?

    • @PatriotGearReviewsCt
      @PatriotGearReviewsCt 7 лет назад

      has ford made any improvments to the ecoboost that would benefit its longevity since it was introduced?

    • @PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod
      @PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod  7 лет назад +1

      +Patriot77 3.5 all day long. I have worked on many ecoboosts n have never had an issue with carbon. Having an engine direct injected is what creates our soot (carbon) all ecoboosts that are DRIVEN and are not garage queens usually dont have a prob cuz temps burn all that off. Same concept on those 5.4 3valves where the plugs break. Carbon acts like a glue n then the plugs break. The trucks that are WORKED don't have that issue.....just my two cents broski

    • @PatriotGearReviewsCt
      @PatriotGearReviewsCt 7 лет назад

      Thanks man!! I saw another video of a guy saying if you open it up every so often and get the rpms up youll never have the carbon issue. I was victim the that garbage 5.4 in my 04 f150. sounded like a diesel i think from the cam phazer. blew up at 150k.

      The legendary 7.3 diesel is in my opinion the best motor Navistar International ever built. Also, the 5.9 is the best motor Cummins ever built. These are the two best motors out there money can buy. The new stuff out there, Powerstroke, Cummins, Duramax...are okay. But are costly to fix thanks to Nancy Pelosi, and her mob from California. New emission crap! 😬
