Thank you so much for the info... you just convinced me to not buy a motor home with this engine! Salesman told me it was a 4 cylinder! Tag in the front said it was made in South Africa!!!
Hey Arod, took a challenge at Ford dealer that I've been working at. Going to switch from service writer to diesel tech.... maybe I'll hear from you on the diesel "tech to tech". Miss turning wrenches... Klint
+klint duin gosh i wanna go where you came from. Tired of turnin wrenches, a nice computer screen, stapler & pencil sharpener sounds perfect. Paper cuts, im thinkin r much better than busted knuckles and ach'in disc's...lolol
I have a 2019 3.2 Power Stroke transit and was just curious if there was any aftermarket cold air intake filter system available if so do you recommend changing it out with exhaust and DPF/EGR delete kits if so what would you recommend
PowerStroke Tech Talk w/ARod Was it a bad decision buying this 3.2? I have a 2015 6.7 power stroke F550 with 50,000 miles on it my warranty will be up next month. What’s your opinion about me deleting 550? Prefer 3.2 for every day driving much better fuel mileage. Thanks
I've watched and admired your work so many times but this is the first time that you scared me. All that hardware sitting above the engine where the hood closes. If it were me I surely would have knocked something in the engine. Later brother.
Hey wanting to buy a transit but I've had bad luck with ford. I've heard it's a 12-14hr job for a waterpump on the gas motors. Do you think the 3.2l diesel is the best choice with the 100k warranty as a mechanic?
+SuperMegaCliff im thinkin im glad i got a crap ton of NON warranty work. Let em cut it, when they realize that the generation that is gonna take over for these old timers is gonna tank everything & GOOD techs start dwindlin away...then maybe thatll be the rock bottom. Nothing is given to us...except for this genuine mastercard they're gonna load $150 for completing safety recalls.....other than that everyone better make sure they're I's are dotted & T's are crossed so yall dont get charge backs. Most of us are true and fair and mostly work hard for our money. Then we got gvmnt takin 23% of everything we make, cld go on n on.....
Everything that has to do with the diesel engine, base, fuel components, (not fuel lines or fuel tank), certain cooling system parts and emission components. No trans, no axle and front end....just diesel related components
Thought PUMA made sneakers , good to hear from you A/Rod , Thinking about a 17 250 6.2 4.30 gear, mpg I know , g series tranny,? 6.2 issue's. ? Just your thoughts. TKS
I just did one! Mine was leaking from pump cover. Never worked on one but I was surprised how straight forward it was. Good stuff man!
+Baudelio Jimenez thanks bub!!!, got 2 more to do lol
Looks like a challenging workplace!
+DonnaSean youll see!!

What do you think about Ford cutting more SLTS, TSB and recall labor times?

Interesting set up. 5cyl diesel. why did you have to take out the injectors to replace a valve cover gasket? keep up the great work and videos.
+M Cool the injectors go through the valve cover, gasket came with the cover
got it, I have my 6.0 injector layout in my little mind.
will ford pay for the repair and parts ?
If your vehicle is still under warranty...
What does the 5 year 100k mile warranty cover on this diesel?
Everything that has to do with the diesel engine, base, fuel components, (not fuel lines or fuel tank), certain cooling system parts and emission components. No trans, no axle and front end....just diesel related components
Hey A-Rod, Do you have to do the IQA coding on a 3.2 L? Thanks
+Chris K. Yea you do, as long as there kept in the same order you'll be all good, only when replacing

Sweet..
is that a Mercedes diesel? Mercedes is the only 5cyl diesel I have seen before.
+edm no FORD
Too bad that didn't show up in testing before releasing to the customers.
Ha made in Brazil!!!!
Still don't get why ford didn't put a dog house into those vans
+captianhoran cuz the 6 figure a year designer forgot to cut the hole in the CAD drawing & decided to run with it
So true but it would make life better if it had it
Ford must have done a lot of testing before they went into production. That crap should never happen. Guess i'll never understand.
+wysetech2000 i still dont understand....
