nobody wants a Stout that is all electric. A hybrid would be useful, but all electrics are hardly going to take over the roads. Electrics are NOT dependable, they are too expensive, and the performance is overly effected by atmospherics, humidity and temperature.
Why not? To go to Work and run around town ,? Cheap runabout.

It is a pity that Toyota is waiting to introduce the Stout as the world is ready.
Although manufacturers are pushing high performance I believe that Stout buyers will settle for a bit less performance and opt for better mpg and they dont want to sell their homes to afford a new Stout.

Bull IF there was going to be a 2025 out WE would all KNOW about it already. Maybe 2026 or NEVER. Highlander based. Then it would be a tacoma you nit wits. Smaller and better MPG.Highland MPG sucks.
I miss the solid axle Tacos. Toyota if you want to sell trucks, remake the 1985x-tra cab manual shift, manual hubs, transfer case is a shift lever. keep all the electronics b.s. out simple 4cyl. You have slipped away from your roots, and your reliability
All that electronic stuff can be the trucks downfall. Most of the complaints of new cars has to do with their electronics.
