I can not get it why so many guys find it ugly. It's undoubtedly elegant and beautiful to me.
This guy knows what he is talking about, recognising that it is in a ‘class of it’s own’. I own a 640i and am very satisfied with it. I had a 7 series before, and the 640i is much better as a daily driver.

I have seen lots of reviews on this BMW 6gt trying to find a replacement vehicle for handicap purpose, this was the best review of all. I get a 2018 tomorrow with 22000 miles.

Saw this model at the recent motor show, have to say the model looks nice, but sadly looks like a 5 series with a raised butt.
Quite frankly, BMW should have given this model its own identity, both on the face and especially the interior. But no doubt a nice looking car.
New presenter is good. He is well prepared, knows what’s he’s talking about, and use good English. I recommend not moving so much in front of the camera also not moving to fast. When for example talking about the bumper try to look at the camera or let the camera only film the subject like you did for the interior. Very enthusiastic and energetic presenter, Keep up the good work!

Finally. Someone calls out the horrid screen.its looks so much like an afterthought. The 5Gt screen was much nicer
well, if it was an afterthought then it would be removable. also if you think you can do better then go ahead and try. besides the lci bmw 3 series f80, the bmw x1, and bmw x2 have this kinda of styled infotainment screen. besides, have you even tried it. don't express your opinions about the infotainment screen without evidence that its bad. if it is horrible then give proof that you have tried and that its bad, if you can't find any problems. then that's proof its not bad. (p.s. i may sound rude, but i don't like it when someone says something is horrible without evidence. also just because its on their doesn't mean its bad, if you have actually used it you would be able to understand how much people like using it and how they feel. like for example, if someone said oh Audi's are the worst or if they say of your favorite car brand is bad without solid evidence, doing this could actually hurt their feelings and would be the exact opposite of being truthful while using solid evidence. so pro tip: before you type things into the comments, making sure the think twice before typing your comment or response. or else it could hurt other peoples feelings)
also if you like the 5 gt's series it's interior then your out of luck. the 6gt was built to replace the 5 series grand tourismo. also the 5 seres gt is using the older drive system. besides they found no use for that since the bmw 5 series touring was more practical. also they had to cancel the other gt series in the line, like the bmw 3 series gt. also they wanted something that was practical, yet spacious since the 6 series line up was only coups, cabriolets, and grand coupe. also they had to make something practical that could compete against the larger luxury hatchbacks like the audi a7. the 6 series was only made to replace the first gen bmw 8 series back in 1999. it was then discontinued due to more popular demands fo the 8 series to come back, and also since they needed to fill in the gap of the more luxurious side. something to go along with a higher flagship to go up against the likes of the s klasse coupe, hence the reason why bmw discontinued the 6 series in favor for the 8 series leaving the 6 series gt the only option you have. so its either keeping the older 5 series gt or just moving on a accept that the 5 series gt and the 6 series might not come back. yet alone their be another generation of the model. tho their are rumors that the bmw 6 will make a come back in 2026.

Heya, after 2 years I found out your video about 6GT, gonna go for it next year, 640i xdrive (i guess) but I don't agree with your statement "better go for a rear wheel drive", The electronics is close to perfect I am sure about that, but I can't think about going to Alps or snowy areas with it.. That's why I am going for the xDrive :) Definitely wonderful review! I like it, thank you!

For the BMW 6 series GT is the 640i the highest engine that possible can get or are they going for M650i?
Yes, no hybrid either. The reason is it might take sales away from the M850i which is much, much more expensive. Interesting that a 640i x-drive is faster 0-60 mph than an 840i for a lot less cash.
Will there also be an electric/hybrid version available in the future?

I'm sorry, but I don't see the 6 series anywhere.. maybe in the frame less windows. I like how the car looks, but I think it's just like the 5 series GT.

I just can't get over how bad the sport and eco dials look compared to the comfort ones.

I really don't like the pockets where the door handles sit. Very plasticky looking. Most BMWs seem to be the same in that regard.

I like the BMW, they are really smart, great build, great quality materials but... they just all almost the same like Audi... if you see a 3 GT, a ex 5 GT and a 6 GT and you not next to.. you never know which one is which one.
I dont see any feeling about any other car than an E class, specially E63. Bmw, audi are really losing all the reputation have got with difficulty in the last 20 years

The rear spoiler lifts up if you press a button, and improves the looks of the rear of the car.
This car is incredible. If you don't like the design it should glaringly obvious to you, you are not the target market. If you want a sportier BMW there are plenty of other options.

This car literally has the G30 5-series platform. They just call it 6 series to pretend that it's in a higher segment than it should be (in germany, they say it's 'Oberklasse' instead of 'Oberen Mittelklasse')

+Oliver Lasch 3er und 4er sind genau die gleiche Klasse (Mittelklasse).
Tom Und 5er und 6er Oberklasse, während 7er und bald der 8er Luxusklasse ist. Da der neue 8er rauskommt ist es ja klar, dass die gesamte 6er Reihe näher an den 5er rutscht.

Ugly as 5 series GT. You can't fix ugly car by adding +1 to the model name. I hope they will release something which replaces current 6 series.
Its like iphone 8, which is meant to be 7s. This is 5 series gt, not 6.
A car review should take no more than 20 minutes, 30 minutes maximum. 35 mins a stretched Max! .

A used 2013-15 5GT is the bargain of the century and features a dual opening hatchback which the current 6GT does not have, however the current model is lighter and faster.
