i stumbled upon ur channel recently, and it's so refreshing seeing someone so passionate about various subjects and hobbies. I really respect and admire that especially how you still wanna explore more hobbies and keep on learning. please never stop making videos and always keep that spark and passion among the various interests you have got. also the quality of videos you are making and the editing are so professional. I am not really interested in watches and know nothing about them, yet i've spent the whole 15 minutes crocheting and watching the video without getting bored at all, i actually gained new facts about watches, now I'll go to your channel and open a new video to crochet to. Keep up the great work!
This is the first video I've seen from you and I absolutely agree! I personally love Seiko watches and seiko mods (which you should definitely look into). Design-brand watches, as you've mentioned are pieces of sh**! And when people buy rolexes and AP's or any other luxury watches, they buy them mostly as statement, achievement pieces, and people mostly buy them because of the social status & lifestyle they want to live. Amazing video and I'd like to see more of your points or deeper thoughts on watches or any other subject!
First, I want to say to you thank you very much for commenting and sharing your thoughts. It's very motivational for me to keep making videos! Secondly, I did cut out a lot of things to make the video shorter. Because I went on a way too long ramble hahah. And as I said this is just my opinion. But it looks like you agree. And lastly, I'd be interested in making more of these types of videos. So don't hesitate to give me suggestions. Again, thank you for watching and commenting!
a phone is cheaper than a watch because the margins for 3rd tier or 2nd tier suppliers are practically zero. For example, while Apple makes over 38% margin on their iphones, some of their suppliers are near zero. The same isnt true for watch movements as their isnt that many movement manufacturers due to a lot of factories closing down during the quartz crisis (hence why there arent any american movement rn despite the fact there was in the watches decades past)

But that logic a radio 📻 should cost much more than what it sells for today.
