How do you like my content about student life?😅
Hey I had a question, in your time at Nishi Waseda international students house, did you have to always cook your own food?, or did they provide like meals you can have which was included in the fee for dorms

Some dorms have it included, most don't. I didn't have. I'm also lazy at cooking. So I ate out every day 😂 it's not that expensive in Japan compared to Norway
I love this video. I have multiple hobbies too, I think it is too boring to just restrict yourself to one hobby. I enjoy running, gym, listening to music, singing, dancing, going walking, and contributing to sustainable transport discussions. It makes life more meaningful and fulfilling to have multiple passions. The key as you say is to prioritise which hobbies are more important to you and spend more time on those and enjoy these hobbies too 🙂.
Literally the best solution for simple projects. Professional proj. would rely heavily on automatic tracking and precise masking.
Sewing (and beadwork) makes me so happpy too !!
I didn’t know I would enjoy sewing so much. Haven’t tried beadwork yet
Wowww!!!! Omg! You are so talented ☺️☺️
Thank youuuu!
I am doing my first in next week. I don't know if I can do it but I will definitely go for it. I am overwhelming and exciting at the same time Lmao.
Let me know how it goes! I’m excited for you
@@koalanof So I did it (barely). I trained for around 2 months. I goal was sub 4:30. But as the race go on, I was fine just to be hanging with sub 4:45 pace group. Everything was fine til 10KM where I grabbed a bite of Banana and I had to take a dump. All the carbs that I loaded were all gone after that. ( I think Banana is just very good; too good for digestion and I have a very fast metabolism ). I lost tons of energy after taking a sh*t and was left way behind the 4:45 group. Luckily I had 2 gels with me, so I backed myself up and started to chase the pacer group. I was doing a really good job till half-marathon, then my stomach became a problem again. I had lost lots of energy due to the stomach age but I kept going on with water and electrolytes and finished at around 5:30. I wrote this so hoping it would help someone trying their first marathon don't experience like I just did. hahaha Good Luck Everyone !
true size?
Plants count to, get a plant that droops when it needs something! Then get two to three more plants, you'll end up checking on them as often as you need to and if one dies you won't lose all your plant hobby progress but be more caring towards your still existing plants.
Wow… You went to hell and back 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

There’s a worthwhile distinction of hobbies vs pastimes. Pastimes are more about entertainment, even if it’s an activity, it’s a fun way to pass the time, and there often isn’t a result or “made thing” at the end. It’s _generally_ simpler and less expensive to have many of these. Pastimes may require some focus, but less focus than hobbies. Pastimes are often easy to pickup and put down. Examples might include movies, reading, listening to music or podcasts, exercising, etc. Hobbies generally make something (a song, a poem, a piece of art, cookies, etc.). Hobbies are as entertaining as pastimes, but often more focused and can take more physical space, materials, and time. It’s _generally_ harder to have many of these as they spend more focus, space, planning, time, and resources. Examples might include learning an instrument, writing, baking, building, creating, making, gardening, physical training for a specific sporting event, etc. In either case, people often need a reminder that the point of a hobby is to have fun. You don’t need to be good at your hobby or monetize it. The point is to have fun. ✌️😌✨
More leather craft videos?
I mostly play games to do my hobbies. You like animals? Planet Zoo You like dinosaurs? Ark You like adventure and creativity? Minecraft You like parkour? Obby’s on Roblox You like cosplay? Dress To Impress You like roleplay? Play RP’s on whatever game you like Al I’m saying is that you can find any game out there if you’re just looking hard enough
i like your video!!! i want to go Waseda university! what faculty are you in?
He forgot to mention that you can also use it for notes. No bidirectional linking but you can use markdown for text layout and even paste in photos. TT really puts a lot under one roof.
nice
Very nice 🤣
THATS brulliant! WHAT!!
Thanks
Visited in 1964, still have a railway ticket to hell ! It was a small town then but looks bigger now. We camped on the beach 1/2 mile from the station. I wonder if Gods Expedition saved many lost souls ? The railway was steam hauled as it headed for the Arctic Circle in those days. Ah well.
I can recognize Fukumoto M from the video!
Best teacher at the university
At school I used to sell tiny books I binded until teachers shut down my business so I started giving them for free. It was like a fun hobby that I could make money off
A marathon is only 10k long. Unfortunately it's from km 32 to km 42.
Hahahaha
I hate that programming takes up majority of my day, though it's not that bad and makes money. I'd love to spend my whole days doing different hobbies
Very relaxing! Also inspiring. What equipment do you use?
Thank you! I use my phone, Sony zv e10, tripod and rode mic
@@koalanof Wow, thanks so much for replying! I'm trying to decide whether to take the RUclips plunge. I can't stand videos where people just sit and talk, so I love the captivating dynamics of your videos. You've inspired me to think outside the box when I give filming a try. Thanks again!
@victoriahewitt9938 i think you should do it. Don’t let the dreams be dreams. And if you give up, at least you’ve tried
Thanks so much for this! I have a bajillion hobbies that I'm constantly jumping between. It's encouraging to know there are people like me out there. I feel bad for quitting things or taking breaks from them. I really needed to hear that finding balance is possible & there's no pressure on how you have to explore & enjoy things.
By the way, painting and drawing socially is possible! Plein air, trips to the museum to learn from the paintings, and life drawing can all be done in groups. It's interesting to see other people's techniques, especially when you're all drawing the same subject!
Hahaha I feel the point about shiny object syndrome/jealousy. I decided I wanted to get good at watercolour, but while learning about colour palettes and the like I kept seeing people talk about oils, oils, oils. If I had disposable income like I used to, there would be paint tubes, special paint mediums, and canvas paper on the way to my place now. Something considerably over the bare minimum because I get curious about different materials. But even the bare minimum would be a lot since it seems like using them on paper is a no-go, you need special fluids to dilute them, and even if I limit my colour range I suspect I'd still need a lot of paint since practising eats up so much. I'd still like to try it eventually, but I have to be smart about when and why, instead of letting social media and online shopping press my buttons. The stakes got higher because I have less room in my life for junk than I used to, as well! By the way, my current slate of hobbies is watercolouring, gardening, cooking, reading (comics and not comics), DnD, video games, and the odd spot of camping/hiking. Working on adding exercise so I'm strong enough to do some canoing/kayaking trips next summer. Sewing, crocheting, and knitting will come back for me one day, I just don't have enough time/attention span to crank out projects at a satisfying pace anymore. Sewing especially demands a lot of space for projects and a couple hours at a time to hit small milestones (maybe I have to change my approach?). It's also a hobby where people don't realize how much work goes into it and expect you to make things for them. I made the mistake of saying yes to a couple of projects and I've been dragging my feet ever since 😱
Kudos on providing/knowing the actual/full Jack of All Trades saying. See also: Robert Anson Heinlein; "Specialization is for insects."
Thanks, great Turorial!

Yesss, I feel it like it looks more chill 😎
I don’t know if I’m alone in this but the background music and your voice were fighting for their lives in my earphones. 😋 (and if I had to pick a winner when it comes to audio mixing, it’s the background music) Great video. 🙏🙂 I don’t believe the goal of a hobby is to be good at it. The goal of a hobby is to enjoy it so have as many as you please (and can maie time for). 😊
Nice job man. I’ve got heelflips, kickflips, shivs. Just can’t 5050 at all :(. It’s such a battle for me and I don’t know why. Think it’s due to my Ollie’s so I am building more confidence in them
Let’s go! You’ll get them soon ✨ how long have you been skating?
Love the community in the comment section here! Currently trying to better manage my multiple hobbies as well. Really cool to see how other humans on the internet manage their self-learning journey!
I would add, if you are a woman, to schedule your hobbies based on your menstrual cycle and energy level, moving the more physical activities when you are at your peak and lessening the weight on your inner autums and winter. There are many books and videos about it, check them out if you are interested.
Hey! This video was very nice to watch as we have some overlapping hobbies: I like ( in priority order) Climbing/Bouldering, Yoga, Reading, cooking, hiking, improv theater, swimming, Skateboarding. I unfortunately don't have too much control over my schedule ( A part time job and a part time kid take most of my weekends) but I try to keep things balanced between SINGLE and Company hobbies, as I want to improve my solo time quality, and also between hobbies that enrich my BODY, MIND and SOUL. Starting from the fact that anything you enjoy doing is good food for your soul, I try to balance my schedule in order to have a good comprehensive week with activities that compensate each other out. For example, If a week I have to read a lot for school, I won't spend so much time reading outside school but maybe move more my body, to get rid of stiffness and stress. While if I am on holiday, I plan to learn more about yoga philosophy or read in general. This keeps me motivated and shift the goal from being better at skateboarding to move myself and get more flexible, strong or whatever.

What would you like to see me explain next?
Amazing, I was so frustrated with map animations, but this helped a lot!
Hello sir. I'm from Indonesia and currently living in japan as a worker but I'm planning to enroll in waseda university. Is there anything I need to prepare?
I think positively about the statement "Jack of all trades, master of none". It just tells you that you don't have to reach mastery if you do end up breaching out into different things. It's kinda chill just moving at your own pace in all the different fun things you can do.
Hej! Nu chansar jag bara - men det låter som att du är från Norden 😭😂 Hur likt/olikt är det att plugga där i jämförelse med Norden? Är det jätteintensivt?
Hei nabo! Jeg er fra Norge:) 🇳🇴 I would say that Japanese universities are much more theoretical. And one thing I really dislike is how f**ked you are if you don’t understand something in class. Because they don’t tell you where to find information related to the subject that explains it more in depth
Sweet video, what are the Vans you are wearing in the Video they look really nice but can't seem to find them online! You reviews my old skate shoes haha
Eyo! Thanks for watching and commenting ☺️🙌 The white vans are just the old skool with leather? I’m not really sure, I found them cheap online for like 60$. But I personally wouldn’t recommend them
I guess I don't fit the demographic because I'm 72 but here goes. My most compelling passions (hobbies somehow doesn't work for me) are writing and oil painting. I have one novel published 'The Crooked Knife ' and several looking for a publisher. I have sold a few oil paintings but this is a passion I only started taking seriously a year ago. I do yoga daily, meditate (35 years) , make quilts, garden and cook. I read about 100 books a year. I keep a journal and a sketchbook. Some passions are seasonal (knitting in the winter) and some are quite sporadic (making dolls, hooking rugs). I walk daily but that and the yoga are simply necessary at my age. Most of my passions revolve around the same intentions - I'd rather create than consume and I'd rather learn than live in ignorant bliss. Leonardo da Vinci is my hero. They used to call what you and I get up to bei g a Renaissance person. Keep on keepin' on.
I want to be you when I grow up
@@janmorrison4141 thank you, I’m glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t fit the demographic, I’m 71 and have as many hobbies as you, well probably just a few less, I don’t write books or make dolls.
