@@yodav726 Did you tried it? I knew it was a scam but I was just searching for someone who have tried. I can't be that easy. I have an Audi a4 from 2011 and my odometer is reading 1000 km on it, so I wont to turn it back to original mileage.
This item is not illegal, but must be used in an honest and responsible manner.
First of all if you go to the manufacturer's site, you will see that Honda has made sure that their cars odometer can't be played with and will let you know if it will work on your specific car if you enquire, the only legitimate reason that I can see for its use is if something goes wrong with the vehicles instrumentation and requires replacement where as a second hand instrument panel is purchased from a scrap yard which would a fraction of the price that the manufacturer would charge and at this point the second hand odometer can be recalibrated to the vehicles true milage.
I live in Canada and am an automotive locksmith and have done plenty of work for new car dealerships over the years and have learned that when an automobile goes in for work that would be free under the manufacturer's warranty, the dealership is obligated to plug their's computers into the transmissions communication port that is located beneath which the transmissions computer will give them a mileage reading which must match the mileage indicated by the odometer or else the police will be called without your knowledge and an investigation will be launched in order to track down the culprits.
