In this video he used a car that is compatible. I bought this device and it doesn’t work on all cars that it suppose to cover . I tried 3 cars but only worked on one. Either not communicating or says security verification failed. So be careful if you decide to purchase this. Just because your car is listed doesn’t mean it will work on it .
I noticed. Then we had to reset the battery just to get the car to start again

It’s mainly a key programmer that added odometer correction to entice more people to buy it. I’m sure all of the odometer guys complaining it didn’t work were swapping clusters or Ecus and just wanted the correct mileage...
You can do this same video but for a Touareg TDI 2015?
Do you have to do the same process for each key, or is it done on the dash? Also, does this work on newer cars I.e. a new Cayanne?

I bought a new X100 pro2 and I have 2 questions:
1- is there an instruction booklet on how to use it?
2- how do you update it to a make, year and model of a vehicle that you own?
if it will not do the change by this method will it do it by eeprom removal ?
Can I get an information booklet an also do we need to update before use as I can’t get into any other Citreon other that a Jumper ??????
Can I ask why do you always have to use a high-end car for your example for your video I mean can’t you do a corolla 1999 from 2007 Toyota Tacoma why does it have to be a Porsche or a high-end car I mean Kent that tool do or all types of models in years can you explain please Wichita can do that I bought the D7 but I’m kind of disappointed and only has certain year in models like newer and something like that but can you point out the best tool to get thank you
I am assuming that maybe he does it because usually the high end cars are the ones that tend to be more difficult for tools such as these to work with. So showing that these tools can work on something like a Porsche says a lot. Lol however then again my guess could be wrong.

For all USA customer if you buy this scanner you’ll need a OBD2 adapter to 16pin to make this work.

Mercedes E Class (w207) CAPRIO is in the menu but it will not do it. I have tried this on my Mercedes. Now I have noticed that the engine is running. When I tried this on my Mercedes (w207) the engine was OFF ignition ON. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with not being able to do the correction, which I believe it has nothing to do because I was getting an error message "security authentication fail".
If you upgrade it, does it work on more models? Im looking for it to work on Jaguar xf

That looks easy. Please help me understand why it’s not working like yours. My jaguar XE brings up “Before performing the mileage adjustment, please perform a backup EEPROM data”. Once I hit okay, it says “security verification failed”. So I go back to the menus and click the option where it says “EEPROM DATA BACKUP” it then says switch ignition on (when my car has already been on) so I click okay and then the “new file” option. It pops up saying “communicating” and then the security verification failed” comes up. What do you suggest is going on?

I bought one of these tools recently/ When I try to adjust the mileage I get a different screen to the one in this video and I only get an option of km not miles. I had to calculate the difference and input it that way.
Only seems to want to adjust mileage. Can get it to perform any other functions. Awaiting a reply from the seller as to whether it can be fixed.

I recently bought this exact device and it was such a big disappointment. I tried it on multiple cars and it kept coming as ‘ Failed communications’. It cant even do a simple code reader which I mainly bought it for.
Save your money and spend it elsewhere.

I have purchased this tool through your review and infact its completly rubbish i have tested mileage correction on 6 compatible vehicle and not work on one of those vehicles and also the obd function is rubbish tested it on a car which had 8 dtcs and this picked up none i tried it on another vehicle with 3 dtcs this picked up one i have never tried the key programmer function as yet but going from other results i very much doubt this is going to work either i paid £239 for this and my £49 machine does more absoulte rubbish i am pleased i purchased through ebay as its going back to seller I am guessing you rated this as the best mileage tool is that you are or were getting a incentive for the review
Exactly this. Same experience with this device. It's nothing but an expensive brick. I was so pumped to use it because it looked promising but it's nothing but a scam.

Hi. I'm looking to by a scan tool ...this tool looks great; but does it do this reset on a Kia Carnival / Sedona 2009 model. I didn't see it listed on the scanner when you selected the sportage. I saw your video on the X100 Pro2 as well and it doesn't seem to be listed there either. So my concern is that if I spend the cash on one of these scanners that I will find out the hard way that it wont support my vehicle. Any advice Please... Or could you recommend a scanner that will support my vehicle.... Cheers

Auto transmission often have the real milage programmed into their ecu which is different to the engine ecu.

This thing is junk. I bought it on some website and the first car I tried 'security verification failed'. Second and third, same thing. Updated it through the software, nothing changed. This thing is only useful as a brick. Don't waste your money. If you don't believe me, look at all the bad reviews here and elsewhere. And the dude in the video should be ashamed of himself, trying to sell us this crap just to make money as an affiliate. Some people really need some correctional slaps.
