Nothing bothers me more to see natural can't miss talent have it all and throw it all away from drugs or anything else that is just plain stupid. I've watched a few of these videos about Josh, but this one touched me differently. This was informative and heartfelt. There's no judgement or accusations. Josh is a very good man. He's kind and unselfish and very giving. Playing Baseball was his passion and love. He knows God blessed him with a very special gift. Yes, Josh fell a lot, but when he sought God's help He lifted him up. We all fall. The trick is to keep getting back up. I haven't seen my friend Josh since 2005, but I pray he's still living in the faith and doing good.

He was also somebody who blamed ot hers for his own mistakes. I remember him blaming the 3rd base coach when he broke his arm sliding into home and I lost a lot of respect for him then, and that was in his MVP season. Then go to 2012 and he blames a slump on energy drinks and the color of his eyes. He had talent, but his flaws apart from the addictions, would have prevented him from being a hall of famer

Josh's 4 HR game, the other AB was a ground rule double (so technically it left the ballpark). Even more incredible, if my memory serves me, his last AB the game before, and first AB the game after were also HRs. So that would be 6HR and a ground rule double in 7 consecutive ABs.

Got his 1999 Topps Traded rookie card 10/10 PSA at a card show around 2006 or 2007 for $1 at a card show a seller had in a bargain bin (also an Adrian Beltre PSA 9 Topps Chrome rookie for $1 from the same seller). I only got them because he they were graded. Turns out Joshy decided to become one of the best MLB players of his era in the following several years. Oh and that Adrian Beltre guy turned out from looking like a dud who had a couple decent years to one of the greatest third basemen of all time and upcoming Hall of Fame first ballot candidate. Always look in the bargain bin, baseball fans, you might just get a gem (or two).

Ken Griffey Jr. Has the sweetest swing. Daryl strawberry is right behind him and I must say that Josh Hamilton is right there in 3rd. But of course we can't forget Ted Williams and Stan musual so they might be first and second. Awesome video. Could you please do a video on the Molina Brothers? Which one is the best? Catcher and also Jose Bautista how he just became an average or below average player and then became a superstar.

Josh Hamilton had the exclude ability to be one of the best players to ever play on an MLB field. But substance I’d any kind can destroy a persons dreams. Been there 1st hand as a catcher in the late 70.s. I lost it all because I lacked the discipline that was so very simple to follow. I have no one to blame but myself. Never could’ve been Bench or Yady, but I had the ability. I lacked the discipline. To young players, stay outta that crap. Your career is most important than the party. This is true my young players. Very true. I’d do anything to have that opportunity again. Think about this young guys. It’s for real

I believe it was Josh Beckett who was selected second in the draft to Hamilton if memory serves me correctly. Of course, unlike Hamilton, Beckett chose to pitch rather than be an everyday player, and also had great success.
