I remember playing as the Giants in 2k9 with Bennie but didn't play video games with Buster. I remember the great 2010 world series win completely, my family was so excited for SF to win something after the 90s wins with the 49ers. Then 2011 we didn't make the playoffs so didn't matter. 2012 we made the playoffs and I kinda remember winning. 2013 we missed the playoffs, and again didn't watch. 2014 we made the playoffs and as a kid I didn't even watch. At that point I was so used to winning. If we made the playoffs we won the world series. Looking back I can't believe I missed Buster's career and I only remember the first few years. Winning is so hard and I felt it was so easy, I'm never going to miss my team winnign again
Everyone talks about his offense, and they talk about his defense, but he is one of the only catchers where you have to mention his pitch selection. His pitchers trusted him. While many catchers call pitches, Buster was one of the greatest to ever do it.
Hard to believe that there were four other teams that could have had Buster Posey in the 2008 MLB Draft and that those teams did not choose him. I’m so glad that he played his whole career for the S.F. Giants.
Buster is a giant through and through. When I was a kid I was a huge bonds fan but Gerald easily wins now. He was amazing, effective, clutch and also seems like a great guy
As a Dodgers fan, man did it suck to see this guy in the lineup because he was gonna rake and also one of the best catchers of my era of watching baseball..stings that he helped the hated SF to 3 rings in basically 5 years..pretty impressive and he also had them on the verge of repeating back to back..very classy guy and only thing that kinda bugs me to this day but it’s probably for the safety of the players was because someone bull dozed over him and broke his leg, they banned the running into the catcher..but still, guy was awesome 💪🏼💯
I'd say at some point do an Edwin Encarnación video. Though he only recently retired a few years ago he had an interesting career where he started to come on fairly late into his career to become a 400+ HR hitter with multiple All-stars and a beloved fan favorite for Toronto.
I freakin Love Posey & LonGo Dope when LonGo went to SF …. I’m still pushing for 3B 9 Matt Williams out of UNLV Made 3 World Series with 3 different teams & Won 1 World Series Ring That Man RAKED & Played some legit 3B over there Especially before the injuries If not for injured Matt Williams would be considered by all an All Time Great No Doubt .
As a Dodgers fan, I felt Posey deserved an NLCS Run for his last season. I’m sure the baseball gods would’ve blessed him on the WS Diamond. Best Catcher
Funny about Lincecum. I remember there being theories in Timmy’s last couple of years with the Giants that Timmy and Posey didn’t like each other because starting in 2011 or 2012 Lincecum starts would always have Eli Whiteside or Hector Sanchez as his catcher with Posey at first or not playing. Bochy eventually said that it was his decision not to have Posey catch Lincecum starts because Lincecum was physically hard on his catchers with how many of his pitches broke into the dirt. Especially when he started losing his fast ball and relying on breaking stuff.
Absolutely elite. Batting titles, gold gloves, World Series wins, the guy did it all. Arguably one of the best baseball player that I grew up watching. As a Twins fan myself, he was the better version of Joe Mauer cause he won championships! 😄
I'm a diehard Giants fan through and through but he isnt anywhere near Bench, Berra or Fisk. I'd also put Campanella and Carter ahead of him as well, but he's more than likely a top 10 all time catcher and how with over 140 years of history do you leave a top 10 out?

I would like to see a video about Kenny Lofton, one of the biggest HOF snubs of all time.
I think George Foster or Dave Parker should have a video on them, they are both really underrated players from the 70s
hall of famer for sure, didn’t miss a home game during his fsu career, electric, the reason i’m a giants fan
Buster is a giant through and through. When I was a kid I was a huge bonds fan but Gerald easily wins now. He was amazing, effective, clutch and also seems like a great guy
Anyone from Leesburg up in here, Posey's hometown. I gotta represent for an underrated legend
Buster posey IS and will be a hall of famer!
If he does well as a manager, he’s 100% deserving of being a Hall of Famer
fire video.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed
from the same home town came and spoke to us after he got drafted I think
As a Dodgers fan, man did it suck to see this guy in the lineup because he was gonna rake and also one of the best catchers of my era of watching baseball..stings that he helped the hated SF to 3 rings in basically 5 years..pretty impressive and he also had them on the verge of repeating back to back..very classy guy and only thing that kinda bugs me to this day but it’s probably for the safety of the players was because someone bull dozed over him and broke his leg, they banned the running into the catcher..but still, guy was awesome 💪🏼💯
Oh you must feel the same way about Bailey now!
Albert belle plz do a 🎥 about him he was a beast in the 90s
I'd say at some point do an Edwin Encarnación video. Though he only recently retired a few years ago he had an interesting career where he started to come on fairly late into his career to become a 400+ HR hitter with multiple All-stars and a beloved fan favorite for Toronto.
I freakin Love Posey & LonGo
Dope when LonGo went to SF
…. I’m still pushing for
3B 9 Matt Williams out of UNLV
Made 3 World Series with 3 different teams & Won 1
World Series Ring
That Man RAKED & Played some legit 3B over there
Especially before the injuries
If not for injured Matt Williams would be considered by all an
All Time Great
No Doubt .
As a Dodgers fan, I felt Posey deserved an NLCS Run for his last season. I’m sure the baseball gods would’ve blessed him on the WS Diamond. Best Catcher
Best FSU baseball player of all time! Great video 🎉
Another great video! I mentioned hoping to see Chipper Jones soon. Also maybe Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau?
Thank you! Great suggestions, both of those Twins would be fitting for a video of this nature. But Chipper will be here before you know it… 👀
I’m incredibly biased, but Posey is a no doubt HOFer in my opinion
Mayhap we can get an Adam Wainwright prime video. Help us take our minds off of his recent struggles😂
I Loved This ERA
In The BAY AREA.
We Got CHAMPIONSHIP Spoiled By The GIANTS & The DUBS, But It Was The GIANTS That Kicked It Off 1st.
Absolutely elite. Batting titles, gold gloves, World Series wins, the guy did it all. Arguably one of the best baseball player that I grew up watching. As a Twins fan myself, he was the better version of Joe Mauer cause he won championships! 😄
I think his mere presence was way underrated. In 2022 the Giants ran back ostensibly the same roster minus Posey and they were a mid pack team.
My favorite player ever
Can you do Jim Edmonds? Underrated player who should one day be in the HOF
When he’s been in MLB for long enough you should totally do Patrick Bailey!
The Hall of Fame is not a legitimate institution if Buster Posey is not in it.
Great videos man you don't get enough recognition
Thank you, I appreciate that!
He’s kind of the American dream taken to the extreme.
Mauer, Posey and Pedroia deserve a place in Cooperstown
do one on chipper Jones. Posey belongs in the hof
Dude was a beast
He is literally the ingredient that get them over the hump
You need to do a video on Mike Piazza in his prime. He was unbelievable offensively he has the record. For most home runs as a catcher in MLB history.
Only 27 passed balls in 9,291 2/3 innings. That's pretty impressive.
I’d like to see a video on Mike Piazza.
I wish he played longer
Buster hugs were the best. I miss his presence behind the dish
This is so Yorker (but fr thank you for making a Timmy video)
It's crazy there's even a debate over whether he's a HOFer. He's arguably the greatest catcher of all time.
No way
I'm a diehard Giants fan through and through but he isnt anywhere near Bench, Berra or Fisk. I'd also put Campanella and Carter ahead of him as well, but he's more than likely a top 10 all time catcher and how with over 140 years of history do you leave a top 10 out?
Plus I think Posey kept the Giants functioning at a high level when that dope Kapler took over as manager.
