Let's discover the 15 worst foods for diabetics.
1) Low fat packaged foods aren't better for you as they usually ADD a TON of sugar instead.
2) Packaged sauces contain a lot of added sugar, salt, and fat.
3) Most store-bought BBQ sauce contains 7 grams of sugar per tablespoon!
4) You can make a salad unhealthy by using packaged salad dressings as most of them contain high amounts of sugar, try creating healthier homemade versions.
5) Beware of packaged soups as most of them contain high fructose corn syrup - considered to be one of the worst types of sugar you can consume.
6) Canned fruits are packed full of sugar-loaded syrups and preservatives to maintain long shelf life.
7) Protein bars may seem healthy, but they are packed full of added sugar, so try to get your protein from more natural sources like chicken, fish, and nuts.
8) Sports drinks provide energy in the form of processed sugars, which will spike your blood sugar, and did you know that a typical sports drink bottle can contain up to 32 grams of added sugar!
9) Fruit smoothies might seem like a healthy choice, but most fruit smoothie chains load their products with high fat ice creams, sugary yogurts, or syrups.
10) Eating whole fruits are an excellent source of nutrients and fiber, but fruit juices have these removed and are basically like drinking pure sugar.
11) French fries are usually deep-fried in unhealthy vegetable oils, which will add a ton of calories to your meal and also spike your blood sugar.
12) Most packaged sweet treats are chock full of processed sugars, and even a healthy-sounding granola bar can contain up to 7 teaspoons of sugar!
13) Eating white bread, white rice, and white flour pasta will spike your blood glucose levels and provide very little nutrition. Try switching to whole grain products instead.
14) Most potato chips are loaded with additives, preservatives, and high fructose corn syrup to create the bliss point, which makes them so addictive and has us coming back for more.
15) Most soft drinks contain upwards of 7 teaspoons of sugar! Soft drinks will flood your bloodstream with a large dose of dangerous simple sugars, which will also make your feel hungry. Try drinking water instead, as it will aid your digestion, keep you hydrated, and help you feel full.

My oldest son is in his early 20's and he has type 1 diabetes. But thank God for this piece of article ruclips.net/user/postUgkxVYhghKWmrUgXARZ_ydZTvmmcrw5L0I5i At first he thought he had the flu and was lying down on the bed for three days until his sister took him to the hospital. They took his blood and it was 600. What I do not understand is how he could have gotten it, since no one in the family has it. But he is winning the battle now. This is good stuff.
Many folks are diabetic but it can go undetected. It's good to visit a doctor!
I have type 1 diabetes since I was 2 years old and I am 60 now and I am legally blind from diabetic retinopathy and macular enema and I am getting e,e injections now , I have had them about 35 years ago and type 1 diabetes is no joke, so to all the people out there please try to keep your sugar in check and stay healthy as long as you can 😎👍💪

*My daughter drinks lots of water and urinates with the same rate, there are no other symptoms to show if those have anything to do with diabetes. This is a good information that I have gone through **Diabets.Care** She is 2 years 9 months, hale and healthy, have not done any blood test. But I am not certain if one can get diabetes at such a tender age. Please I will like to know more on that*
pls take her to a dr. to find out.
Research non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. It's the results of the silent scream of a liver suffering overload.
Consult a doctor, not us
edit: Do not listen to me!
Wrong. Most doctors - at best, many doctors - know squat about physiology and nutrition. They don't accept the good studies. They preach the failed dogma of the FDA and the Harvard School of Public Health. It doesn't take an advanced degree to realize that carbs cause an insulin response, and that, in time, insulin resistance is the direct consequence. Look around. You might notice that lotsa folks are ailing from metabolic disorders.
Yes, you can get diabetes at any age. I'm a type one diabetic and was diagnosed around age 11, but most diabetics I've known were diagnosed earilier. Consult her physician if you have concerns.

Wtf can you eat no food is depressing in itself
Thank you.
@@canamforlife2275 Are you for real ??? The only bad food on the list I like is BBQ sauce. All of the stuff on this list is crap-tasting food. Yes, once in a few months I might get a small McD's fries, but the others are not worth the hour workout to burn them off. Why would you ever eat rice or drink a sports drink???
I was just diagnosed with diabetes 2 and I already have a heart condition. I'm starting each day with prayer and this video to keep me on the right track! Thanks!.
Thanks for this video. It's not too late i learned this food unhealthy for the body
Try 168 fasting and low carb diet. It works!I lost 9kg in 3 months and reduced medicine by 50%. Hypertension also improved, I almost can get rid of medicine.

Read The Obesity Code by Dr Jason Fung. An eye opener.
Prayers that'll save you
Heart condition probably caused by the last 10 years (at least) of building insulin resistance that the Drs. never check for. I have been there done that with a 3x bypass and never really got any healing after surgery until I went very low carb and high natural fat keto way of eating. 74 years old now and no meds for anything other than supplements. A1c in the low 5s, fatty liver is gone bp in the 110-120 range over the 60s and my hearts ejection fraction increased by 11% after the diet change from plant based to keto
I was diagnosed with diabetes a month ago, and I'm already sick of it.
I too was diagnosed about 3 weeks ago. And also sick of it.
Cut the carbs especially refined types.
It is just your new normal. That’s what I learned with my son. Find new patterns and people who will support the new lifestyle. Go ahead one day at a time. By doing this my son who doctors didnt really think would be alive at 26-28 is healthier than ever and turning 30 this year.
Is never too late change your diet hurry !
me too...i feel your pain! everything i think could be positive turns out negative and i'm finding conflicting information. i hate this!
You need to check not only the sugar content but carbs as well.
Carbs when consumed are sugars
Always count your carbs 😎👍
This was one of the most honest commentry on how to avoid process sugars and not to become a diabetic may God bless you
Yes it sounds good but there are so many other factors in diabetes to make your life less than quality. Insulin resistance is just one of them.
My glucose was measured at 266. My doctor wanted to put me on medication.
I begged him not to, I’ll turn it around.
He gave me three months, then a blood screening.
I cut sugar and exercised , went thru the painful withdrawal.
In three months, measured 115 , fatty liver was gone.
Dropped lots of weight, waist size 42 to a 36 in three months.
Food… from the ground to your mouth….. protein and onions and peppers
Beans, fresh salads, and good amounts of butter. Your body and brain will stop feeding on sugar and start feeding on protein and fat.
Wow that's amazing. Well done. I'm trying to do the same. I 'm on my 22nd day. Hard at first but it's getting easier with time. I'm prediabetic. Trying to reverse it. Lost 7 pounds so far.
@@lucyclink9163I was pre-diabetic also for the past two years. I did an entire change in my diet and drank more water. Each time I went to the doc my AC1 went down this last visit 12/19/23 did my blood work and my AC1 is now 5.6. 🎉🎉 Trying my best to at stay at this number.
I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes almost two years ago. I eliminated everything on the list above, as well as some other things, and reversed my diabetes within a month. Since then I have lost 60 lbs and look and feel better than ever at age 49.
you sexy you !
Same age. Pre-type 2. My dad is type 2. I eat only fruits and veggies raw, and fresh. I do dip them in dressing, but don't slather them in it. I eat fish for dinner, usually, or another protein, but usually no sauce. I drink water all day long. I was drinking hot tea with honey, but I think it was still interfering with my blood sugar. I was drinking green tea, along with some other kinds, and mixing them. Tea bags, not pre-made. I put one spoonful of honey, and that was it, but I have since just gone to almost nothing but water to drink. I'm exercising more, and just feel better, overall.
Scott Cohen,
Happy for you. I’m trying to reverse it too. I hope I can have the same success as you. I’ve lost 7 pounds in just a few weeks. I exercise daily.
@@orsie200 one thing I do, when exercising....i don't do the same routine every day. I switch up times, techniques, and exercises. I think that may help avoid the plateau. At least, I hope so!
@Prakaash A not a clue, but not too bad, to begin with. Only been at it a few weeks.
Great video!
I'm type 2, and within three months of eating extremely cleanly and training hard in the gym, as well as hiking and cycling....I've almost reversed it after living with it for around 15 years. The visceral fat I have carried around my waist has almost all disappeared and I'm feeling absolutely fantastic!
My blood sugars are almost at non diabetic levels now, down to 45 mmol when they were 85 mmol twelve months ago, and between 53 mmol and 65 mmol between three and nine months ago. Looking forward to seeing my HBA1C results in another 3 months.
It is possible to eat like a king, just by not buying any toxic foods, and also not eating anything for 2 hours + before going to bed. It works wonders honestly.......just try it!
As per the video, kill the bread/wheat products, kill the white potato and white rice.
Only use healthy fats such as extra virgin olive oil, ghee, coconut oil instead of seed/vegetable oils (poison).
Avacados, green non-starchy vegetables such as brocolli, green beans and asparagus, leafy greens including spinich, lentils (yummy), make your own dressings as per this video, creme freche, sweet potato, oatmeal, natural honey as a sweetener (small amounts), nuts and grains. Chicken, fish or even vegan non meat burgers can be good (check the additives before buying) as well as eggs. All of which are full of protein and contain good fats.
Very small amounts of fruits, and not late in the day, and berries are your best bet ie strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and raspberries. Try a few of those with some creme freche or full fat greek yoghurt for a delicious dessert!! Bananas are tasty, however, not the best fruit for us diabetics, so try to have a few slices instead of a full one if you can.
Most alcoholic beverages such as beers and red wine are loaded with carbs and calories so should be consumed sparingly too.
Oh and this also goes hand in hand with high cholesterol! My levels are back to normal for the first time in years, and that's without any statins.
Hope this at least helps some of you out there, and good luck! 😁😁😁
Thank you 👊🏻
@I love you all,no tension I'm no doctor, and can only speak for what has been working for me. However, my guess would be stick to eating healthy and staying active as long as you can for the rest of your life for maximum longevity of results. Eat good, train hard, feel good, look good etc... 😁 PS I'm sure the odd cheat day once in a blue moon is ok once you have achieved your personal goals. The benefits are when we skip the evil treats on a daily basis, when we do eventually have them, they taste even better than before! haha

Just found out at age 65 that I'm now type 2 after years of being cautioned that I was prediabetic, I wish I would have paid more attention to what I ate and educated myself on the do's and don'ts. Now I'm watching and reading everything I can on the subject. This video was one of the better ones so far.
I’d probably found out I wasn’t as healthy as I thought I was at 70. I was told I was prediabetic, too. If your biggest problem is diabetes and diet, maybe it is not hard reverse overall bad health … maybe you will be enjoying the journey
dietdoctor.com has all sorts of info and videos and a very good paid ( cheap ) membership for even more info. However just because you get rid of the 15 edibles in this video does not mean that you become diabetes free. Nope other things may be causing troubles like, insulin resistance. So yes some will benefit greatly by getting these 15 items off the menu but as I do not eat these 15 items and still have horrible readings on A1c's there are other problems at hand.
@@brucewmclaughlin9072 We are a perfect example here in my house. Both type 2 diabetics, but I am always eating at home. Just retired now, but even when I worked I took my lunch. He, on the other hand, will not take a lunch with him as he works as a cook and figures he can fix something there - which is never healthy. He also grabs candy bars and juice drinks or things like Snappier or the one that is half lemonade/half iced tea. Oh,, and he always comes home drinking a latte. His cereal this week is Captain Crunch. If I eat cereal, it is Honey Nut Cheerios. I, on the other hand, drink the one cup of coffee in the morning, 3-16.9 oz bottles of water, 1-4oz glass of orange or grapefruit juice a.m. and p.m. with medications, and I treat myself to one Caffeine-Free Diet Soda per day (not great for me, but this keeps me out of worse things to get a break from water). Bread I eat is homemade, and I replace sugar with honey and most often it is oatmeal bread. My snacks are a veggie, cheese, and a fruit serving. Sometimes I make boiled eggs.
He says he eats what I give him, but I assure you I did not buy that Captain Crunch, candy bars, or hot dogs he eats at work. Even when we have ice cream, the one I eat is a "light" ice cream. His is rocky road. I also never bought the pop tarts, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, etc. I do, however, take responsibility for seeing to it he takes all his medication.
So, he does not understand why my A1c runs 5.9 to 6.1, and at best when he actually did stick to what I made here at home, I have once gotten his to 6.9. Otherwise, can't get it down below ave 7.6, and the one he just had was 8.5. So, tonight the "fight" begins. It is Wed salad night. I will make a full dinner salad, which is filling. He will have a bowl of cereal after, his store-made latte with both sugar and powder creamer, a glass of half iced-tea half cran-grape juice, and then after I fall asleep something I know nothing of. I have to try to stop some of this down. He is peeing constantly right now, his neuropathy is worsening, as is his eyesight. I have a syndrome called Charcot-Marie-Tooth which, so far, has resulted in full loss of structure of left foot, worsening deformity of rt foot, and both hands, as well as diaphragmatic spams which make breathing and swallowing difficult, but I remain fully responsible for the exercise life of my Siberian huskies. So, what I am telling you is part of all this, for most of us, is what we put into it!!
@@duskahenry791 Kevin, we all wish that we had taken better care of our diets. Just know that you can beat diabetes and in so doing by adopting the new car free diet, you will enjoy good health again. Your doctor will be pleased that you decided to investigate how to get rid of this dreadful disease. So take heart and persist to not eat any sweets or foodstuffs that have carbs in them.

my dr cautioned me but i didnt pay attention. i ballooned up 230 lbs and i am 5 ' 2". now i am on metformin and not doing that well. if i could have just listened..my wt is back down to 148 but i still need to lose 20 more lbs.
I have been fighting back against diabetes 2 for a few months. A friend told me; after I described what I was going through, it sounded like my body was shutting down and I was near death. I did a 180* turn a round in my diet and going from over 600 points, to under 120; and getting into the 70's to 90's pretty regularly on all three pre-mealtime meter readings. I'm trying to regulate the swelling in my feet with herbs; but at least my toes aren't turning black anymore. I also quite waking up in the middle of the night starving and I have lost a few pounds. About 20 lbs from a year ago. No more buffets and most of what this video covered. MK

I have been a type 1 diabetic for over 30 years. Most diabetics count carbohydrates. Just about everything you eat turns into glucose once it hit your stomach, with a few exceptions. You have to have a balance in your diet or you will feel deprived. Nothing should be off limits. Enjoy food, just watch the amount and what it does to your sugar levels. Test your glucose often throughout the day. That really is the key.
not true; some carbs are good carbs
A sane piece of advice for packed foods is, "If it has an ingredient you cannot pronounce, avoid it".
If that were the case, I would starve, lol.
I agree, but I admit that I always have problems with "acai". I can't tell you the dozens of times I've looked it up on google to see how it's pronounced, and still can't remember how to pronounce it.
@@ficialintelligence1869 keep quiet, don't read out loud.
No You need to find spice and fresh fruit will taste great and give your body a fighting chance to change the damage done.
You probably couldn't pronounce most of the scientific names for most ingredients, that's an ignorant statement.
I have been a diabetic for a long time. This video is a reminder to stay away from recent temptations. Many thanks.
Basically, stay out of the main grocery aisle & stick to fresh or frozen. Just have to learn to cook.

Just turned 30, Im not diabetic but I feel it’s time to start getting knowledge on nutrition and health.
I'm Type 1 diabetic (43 yrs) and I learned to just read the nutrition labels when I'm grocery shopping. I was taught about hidden sugars in food when I was in my late teens.
If it has a label of ingredients, don't eat it.
Unlike type 2 diabetes, you are not responsible for this illness. You were born with a body unable to provide enough insulin after meals. I had a class mate with this illness : she had to monitor her blood before each meal and before taking her insulin shot. It's just unfair because many others get sick because of their poor food choices.
I’ve been a Type1 for over fifty years, and I’m in better shape then my peers because I watch what I eat. It wasn’t always fun, but it was healthy.
The sugar aisle, the starch aisle, the salt aisle, the cholesterol fridges ... meanwhile, pot barley is in a corner at $1.49 a bag.

Spot on with this knowledge, I had a big problem with type2 for years and was told by our local specialist all of this information and I Followed these guides and I now am pill free and my sugar values are in the middle of the recommended blood numbers. I hope people listen. As I walk into all grocery stores I look around and all I see is displayed junk food everywhere, I also notice people leaving the store with large amounts of junk in the cart and the person pushing the cart just doesn’t get the danger. Thanks. PS I was 240 lbs and now 185.
Very informative and frightening too. Make us aware and try to resist. Thank you
This just sound like avoiding these substances and getting on a healthy diet...... but also a lifestyle change is in order.......

Very helpful as well as informative thanks for keeping us safe
Any ingredient that ends in OSE is a Sugar.
Lol
Sugar alcohols are supposed to be safe, but even in small amounts, I got diarrhea and upset stomach. I even ended up with pancreatitis and had my gallbladder out after eating some fake crab and ice cream with sorbitol in it. It's an accumulative effect. I tried some unsweetened tea that had monkfruit and discovered it was erythritol which also gave me diarrhea at the same restaurant I ate at a diner 2x. The first was a salmon-crab sandwich. Since I read labels now and ask if the crab is real or what is in the food, I have had no more diarrhea or upset stomach. My dogs and I both have to avoid xylitol. Bali and sf Vitamin Water both include erythritol and so will many new ice creams.
I Really Appreciated this,I knew most ,but need to be reminded, thank you, really found it to be helpful !!!!

I've been type 2 for over 15yrs. I am now at pre diabetic levels because I don't over do it. I do admit that I will never give up my Heinz Ketchup but use it in Moderation. An excellent substitute for soft drinks is Water. Got a sweet tooth have about 20 grapes. I also bake my own bread, 3 ingredients, whole grain flour, water and yeast. You do have to add 1tablespoon of sugar to activate the yeast. Don't torment yourself and try to quit cold turkey, it's gradual. Moderation, Moderation and Moderation is the key to enable you to have that occasional pasta dinner or fruit juice just don't get that mentality that it's not that much this time. Are you so weak, No you're not.
@E EE Hi the bread recipe is quite simple. 6 cups King Arthur Flour, best flour because it is higher in protein. Yeast : 1 1/4 tablespoon, and approx 2 cups warm tap water. Take 1 cup water and 2 tablespoon sugar, needed to activate the yeast mix all 3 set aside and let the yeast get foamy, 15-20min . Place flour in mixer, start mixer and add all water and yeast. For moister bread add some olive oil about 1/4 cup. If you are not watching calories add a melted stick of butter. As bread mixes gradually add remaining water. When bread forms a ball in the mixer it's ready. Remove bread, kneed dough for 3-5 min set aside in a bowl. Dough will 2X in size. Deflate dough then form desired loafs let it rise again, approx 1hr .350* preheated oven. Bake, cool off and enjoy 😀🍞✌
@E EE Hi again, it will not be as soft as store bought bread but the addition of your favorite flavorings, spices, cooked or raw veggies ect. Even cheeses. Stay healthy, stay alive! Good Luck, God Bless
Use almond flour instead of whole grain for bread 🍞. Or mix both
Well said thanks so much for your inspiring advices, you’re a model for the millions of pre diabetics 💕
@@VanessadelasAlas Hello Vanessa , I don't understand your comment. Hope you don't have diabetes
As a type two diabetic, I cut my A1C down from 8.8 to 6 by following the recommendations of this excellent video. But I also eliminated grains, and that includes whole wheat grains.

Paul, T2 sufferers need to eliminate any edible product if it contains carbohydrate. It is difficult but doable and once the food list represents items with less than 1%, the benefits of the intermittent fasting kick in big time. Also eat a tablespoon of coconut oil fat per day to assist energy levels and manage hunger pangs. The oil is in liquid state on the supermarket shelves. Put and keep it in the fridge to solidify. NOT IN THE FREEZER. Eat 1xtablespoonful when required.
I am type 2. I use to weigh at 89 kgs. After 8 months of medication, exercise, diet am now able to control my sugar level and I weigh now 66 kgs.
High intensity training and total removal of carbohydrates from my diet has really helped. There are certain fruits also not good for diabetes like bananas for example unless taken in very little amount. Parboiled rice is also a very good option besides brown rice. Good luck to my fellow diabetics out there. You can do it!

These should be avoided pretty much by everybody, not just diabetics. These are not foods, and too much of them puts everyone's health at risk.
Thanks for this 'back to reality' video. I liked this video mainly because it directs me back to what I have to do to control my type 2 diabetes. Facing reality is hard and 20 years ago I did not even think about diabetes nor was I concerned. Then 10 years ago I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and I was given the facts to the max. This video on the 15 foods to avoid is so hard to do mainly because of the cravings I have for junk food but I keep watching this video to remind me that this is what's happening to my body if I don't change my food intake. Best video ever for diabetics. 😥😀😕
Not even close to the best video ever for diabetics. There are several things wrong in this video.
1. For instance, eating whole grains. Nope. A diabetic's body can't really tell the difference between simple carbs and complex carbs. Ultimately, all of it breaks down into glucose (except fiber). The problem is that the blood cells become resistant to storing that glucose, which causes your pancreas to overproduce insulin. Hence, your blood sugar spikes. Don't switch white rice with whole grain rice. Cut out all rice altogether. Use riced cauliflower instead. Same with bread. Whole grain bread can spike blood sugar just as badly as white bread. Get rid of it. Find a substitute like using egg wraps instead.
2. They were absolutely insane to suggest replacing regular potatoes with sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes are incredibly high in carbohydrates. It's no safer to eat than a regular potato. Any health expert worth their salt would never tell a diabetic to eat a sweet potato.
3. Store bought, bottled salad dressings, like ranch and blue cheese, actually doesn't have a lot of carbs in them. They are actually quite safe to eat as long as you don't drown your salad in them. They also make a nice vegetable dip. Never has a moderate amount of store bought ranch or blue cheese dressing ever spiked my blood sugar. In fact, it hardly even effects my blood sugar at all.
Videos like this are harmful because they are based on outdated nutritional information. A diabetic shouldn't be trying to control their diabetes, they should be trying to reverse it. You can listen to them, or you can listen to me, someone who actually did reverse his diabetes. I'm a type 2 diabetic. At my worst, my A1C was at 7.6. I now have an A1C of 5.1. 5.1 isn't just controlling diabetes, that's a complete reversal. My blood glucose is at a normal, non-diabetic level. And I will be up front with you, that didn't happen until I cut grains out of my diet.
@@NexusNine Bless you NexusNine! I agree with every word you say, i'm into this DB, Resistance ,you name it they don't even know for sure what i am type 1 or 2, 4 years was 2 then they thre away the metformin and then the small amts of insulin, I have to practically starve myself to keep my numbers low. I track every shot, everycouple hours, the dinget on CGM goes off even if im not going high, if i dont eat it goes high, can't win for losing. People haven"t a clue how hard it is to live with your spouse and try to be normal. NexusNine feel free to contact me,if you have any other tips not mentioned here. This doesn't tell me anything I didn't already know. God Bless, Joy
I was surprise by some of these enlightening revelations. Thanks for the knowledge.

I am pre diabetic and this video offers great guidance to me
* *Allow me to weigh in* * - I'm 20 years US Navy (semi-retired). *"Semi"* = too young to sit on the porch, twiddling my thumbs. My sugar has never been high. For my coffee, I substitute sugar with pure maple syrup (locally sourced, for authenticity). Yes, I know I know......this is still in the 'sugar' family. - Another no-no are cakes, desserts, ho-ho's, dingle snacks, Hostess cakes....etc. I've never eaten them (after high school, that is).
- *"Carbs can convert to sugar and be harmful"* - Yes, so I exercise every other day by running 4-8 miles. A runners high is *AMAZING!* I'm telling you this from experience.
- Live long and prosper, friends!
At 65, had run, swum, cycled huge distances by most standards except pro athletes. Never smoked, drank very little alcohol, no other drugs, my diet ticked all the right boxes. Massive heart attack April 2020, did all the rehab and back to cycling and fast long walks. Pre-diabetes diagnosed spring 2021. It's genetic up to a point.
On PDB diagnosis got and applied Dr Michael Mosley's 8-Week Blood Sugar Diet and recipe book. Lost 35lbs/16kg in 12 weeks. I'd been putting on 2mm a year for 45 years = 3½ inches of belly fat due to the high quality bread, peanut butter, quality cheese, or quality honey after the exercise. Carbs are bad. Keep to absolute minimum. Natural level of glucose in blood is 2 teaspoons. Body not designed to handle the mega infusions our modern, still approved high carb diets pump into our bodies.
Feel great now and inspired by gold medallist woman keirin at Tokyo Olympics. She had heart attack in 2015, stent, won one of most cardio intensive events in sport. I'm back to 120 deep pushups in batches of 5 with 60 second rest
Thank you! I just learned that I have developed type 2 diabetes, and I'm so angry - at myself, and at doctors who never mentioned it. Now I've got to make changes.
I've just now seen your video and it's great for the reason that you warn us against the huge threat of sugar in many foods. Thank you so much
GORDON
You are most welcome, Gordon!
Very useful information

Great video guys....keep up the good work!!!🤗
Thank you so much 😁
Very interesting information for diabetic persons and, certainly, a relevant warning for any person not to get unhealthy! Thanks!!
Is liver heathly to eat?
The most convenient way to not eat all these bad foods? Have a sulphite allergy. Almost all foods listed here (excluding white bread/pasta) would give me a migraine so bad I'm literally bed ridden for days at a time. Makes it really easy to avoid processed food and forces you to cook your own, healthier versions of everything.
Prayers for my Grandson Travis who is in his last year of Medical School of Wisconsin and is having 2 Important tests on Monday.🙏🏽🙏🏽

How did your grandson do?
Thank you so very much for this video. I am pre-diabetic and I have found this very interesting. I look forward to even more information that you have to offer or recipes.
I just found out I'm pre also. What have you been doing about it? I have so much anxiety because it seems like you can't eat anything even foods that are good for you is not really good
This video was a real eye opener. Thank you so much.
I never realised what I have been eating. I’ve just been diagnosed with diabetes I have so much to learn thank you
very informative, thank you thank you very much
Wow, I found that information very very interesting. Very well explained to understand clearly. I’m in a position we’re my sugar levels are high and the doctor is quick to want to put me in medication. Doctor is giving me a chance to reduce my levels. So I’m researching each day. This programmer I’ve found very useful and made me much clearer of what chances I need to make. I’m determined that mediation is not going to be my life on this health issue. So I’m on it and finding it very interesting and also quite sad at how I was eating before. I’ve subscribed to the channel and will continue to watch to keep me on track. 👍🏽👍🏽
Videos are so informative..Thanks for all these wonderful videos ..
Thank you for sharing the informations, looking forward more videos,
Thank you so much for the valuable info...needs to share this
Hello TINZ......
Thank you for an informative clip. I am already aware and got the list all right. I've been a diabetic for 40 years. I have just a little treat rarely. Exercise is your best friend.

But Keep in your mind that the owner of this video is not a specialist doctor, but he tells you about his personal experience as a diabetic.
Almonds and fish, and chicken have been on my diet ALOT.
Good lesson , thank you !

I have learned a lot. Thank you!
I’m going have my grandson watch this. He’s been T1 since he was 4. No one tried to educate him about his diet. When I got him in my custody, I started right away. Too much of any good food is bad. Pasta, potatoes, bagels, pretzels are horrid. Counter balance these foods with fresh fruits and vegetables. Weigh in your foods and snacks. Last, I tell him to read the label set a better table. He’s about to be 13 and hitting the sugar craving.
Thank you for this helpful information!

Iwas so addicted to soda. Yes addicted! I've been soda free for over 3 years. It wasn't easy. I wasn't only addicted to the sugar, but the carbon too.
The best thing I ever did!
same here and most of my weight loss as came from me not drinking soda and i love rice soo i had stopped eating it for a while but i went back to eating it but very little of it.
@@dredaylarue 1/2 cup serving of cooked rice should be fine.
I love soda too. I am trying to lose weight and keep my sugar low. I found a flavored water soda callled "Ice" it is delicous. You should try it. no sugar, natural.
You really eat carbon?
Need the buzz? Drink mineral water like Vichy.

Thank you for an honest informative video filled with the information we all need to hear. I was just diagosed with the adult 2 diabetis and even though being careful eating good foods is a right thing to so we must know the real reasons about some of our wrong choices. Your video makes me more aware of the foods to stay away from and how not to fall for the gimmics called nutritional.
Thank you and I will try ur suggestions...Denise Hurst
Thank you so much. I have started gaining weight (oh, yes !!) and I knew I hadn't changed much of my eating style. But you, you wonderful person, were able to exactly point out the changes. Found this lovely natural iced tea. Have been enjoying it for over a year !! Took a look at the ingredients today. Sugar 43g !!!!! Salad dressing. Always made from scratch. Oil, vinegar. etc. Then I found Creamy Cucumber on the store shelf. Good enough to swim in. And pretty much do. LOL. Again, thank you so very much. Time to drop the two tasties so I won't get stuck in my suite. Take care.
Very informative, thanks,!! I enjoyed it!
Agreed soda and potato chip, do not have them in the house.
I gave up soda but giving up chips...a little harder...kinda like them once in a while. 😉
@@leahgary1107 The Sensible Portions brand ‘Garden Veggie Chips’ are a good alternative to the typical potato chips. The cheddar cheese chips are just one gram of sugar per serving of 14 chips. Similar for other flavors. The fat content is a bit high, but still better than ‘cheating’ by having normal potato chips. They come in tubes like Pringles.
@@orangutantapioca1530 I'll have to look for those.
Prayers for my family and may they all return to church soon.🙏🏽🙏🏽
May they return to Christ soon.
