  • This, the lightest of the new Harley's, might just be the funnest, if not the fastest, stock Harley available today. I know the Sportster S has more power but this one has way more fun built into it. Wahoo! Loesshillshd.com

      Love the look of the Nighter S but just worried I’m a little tall at 6ft and may feel cramped on longer journeys , I’ve been down the dealer but they don’t have one in the show room , so was wandering how tall you are and what do you reckon for a 6ft person ?

    It's like Harley has some custom builders, the lines and build of the Breakout 117 firstly. I've missed the Sportster S ride out; I'll go check it out. But the Nightster, out the park. Wish I'd the pocket for this one.
    Just loved the 883 when first released in the UK, sadly at that time I'd not the chance nor in the right place to own one, now most have had the 1200 conversion, long in the tooth or ratted, not to mention prices. Himalayas' going to have to see my days out.
    Stay safe, have fun, cheers Davey

    probably why it's only 11.75L & air box where tank is.

      @@forgottenmotorcycles I can imagine.I like it I like it alot.Not to big or to long plenty of power,looks
      great.Not a fan of big heavy bikes this one is fantastic weight would of been better if it held a extra 1 liter of gas ⛽ or 1.25L making it 12.75-13L tank.I like to leave 2L in tank to stop sludge getting into fuel pump & fuel system,modern fuel injection is sensitive to sludge in them.Want to be able to do 200km a tank ideally & have 2L left in tank so 14L tank is ideal size.The smaller the tank though & shape of it matters a smaller tank leave 1.5L in it.
      Tank being under seat it might taper off to smaller diameter at bottom & if that's the design probably go as low as 1L something to research if buying bike.10 L should get you 200km normal riding conditions & if going hard out on this bike I'd be looking to top up at 180-190km.
      Harley Davidson like to have fuel pump sitting in tank not under tank like other makes.Having fuel pump in tank when fuel gets low fuel pump heats up & over works & can break down & pays to leave 2.5-3L min in Harley tank to prevent this.
      My mates had this happen & replaced fuel pump with better aftermarket fuel pump which operates better at higher temperatures unlike stock HD one.
      These Revolution bikes are all new design & have learn everything if buying one.

    Harley-Davidson Nightster Special / Nightster. This bike does not look good from the non-exhaust side, and the overall finish is far behind the competition. Indian Motorcycles Scout looks way better. And If you take a purely all-round motorcycle perspective you get many prettier, better, and faster motorcycles for the money. Harley-Davidson dropped the ball with the Nightster, but fortunately MoCo have many great motorcycles that can compensate for this somewhat ugly one.

      Actually the engine looks ugly from both sides. If you compare both sides, non exhaust side is uglier. We can not see the engine to body proportion and styling based on that in this bike..real harley DNA is lost..

      I disagree I think it looks cool, liquid cooled for town/city use, I don’t plan on traveling far too often tho, it doesn’t have the traditional Harley look though, to each their own.

    • @mosgor
      @mosgor 2 месяца назад +1

      @@colbybartz5489 It is very possible to disagree, but I think that Harley-Davidson has been sloppy, hoses, wires, plastic parts hung on in hindsight... Can it be improved? make it more pleasing to the eye? of course, and that's where the art of cutomizing comes into the picture. The sky is the limit. Right out of the box, though, the Nightster Special / Nightster is a letdown.(For me) - I used to own a Sportster Nightster back in the day. The congregation went on about how it was not a proper Harley-Davidson, now many have admitted that it was perhaps the last proper Harley-Davidson. Everything is just opinions for a certain time. We cannot live our lives on what others think. So if you like it, then it's for you. There isn't a motorcycle that everyone in the world agrees on. Luckily.
