Fabulous Royal Enfield INT/GT Hybrid - The Clymer by Baxter Custom Works - Wahoo!
The Clymer Indian, engine by Royal Enfield, was a very interesting bike. This very interesting RE Hybrid, by Baxter Custom Works, has that Clymer look. Wahoo!

Not a 2017. They had a rear disc brake, and a spin on gas cap.
Interesting bike! What did the guy trade it in on?
What brand are those mirrors? Do they have a bit of a tint? Those look great!
You outknowledged me on this one. I had to look up Clymer Royal Enfield.
Beautiful machine. If I didn't have my canyon red interceptor. I'd pick it up.
Nice video. I like the rear bag, where can I get one?
Got that bag off Amazon years ago. Still have it. However, they do not make it anymore.
I'd add those Interceptor footpegs onto my GT in a flash. Makes a lot of sense when your knees and hips have got over half a century of heavy use on them. 😊 I took my GT around Wales yesterday. Nearly 300 miles of very tight and twisty mountain roads with fairly large changes in elevation to the coast at Aberystwyth and back. Open pipes and Stratos air filter without airbox lid. My ears are ringing even with earplugs. Perfect bike for it. Bridgestone BT46s. My riding friend had a 2016 Z1000 and my GT seemed to be better suited to the ride. I'm still smiling. Had a great day. Your's looks and sounds great. 👍👍👍
A few years ago coming back from the NW200 I got the ferry from Dublin to Holyhead and rode the A5 through Snowdonia to Oswestry on my 1200 Trophy. It was a beautiful summer evening, virtually no traffic on a smooth predictable road through glorious Welsh scenery. It's a ride that'll live long in my memory!
I just got a 1996 vt1100c shadow spirit that a drug dealer abandoned at my bros small motorcycle shop, I am working on it today and it's got 41,000 and not a scratch on it. It's so clean and stock and I am over the moon about owning it. 😊❤
Wahoo!
my 76 sporty was my first bike and it was a nightmare to start, i let it beat me :( always thought about getting another , hopefully with a little more no how I could now enjoy it.
These old bikes need so much work...even when they are running good. Wahoo!
Mates Dad got one exactly like this 1976 Electric start 1000cc AMF.Becoming collectable now as AMF only around a few years. Could put a bigger tank on it a 15-16L tank maybe then again if you're only gana use it for shorter rides leave it.
Great how your mates Widow sold it to you so you can keep it going & in familiar hands.
She did us all a favor. Basically gave me the bike. I thank her for that. Wahoo!
It's a fun machine. Love it in this form. Wahoo!
Loved the ride, I ride an 1974 all original HD XLH ironhead 15K miles
Very nice to own and work on...Wahoo!
What a survivor! 😍
Amazing bike.
It sounds so uncharacteristic... I don't like it. Sounds like a broken sports bike
Sounds great off camera. Wahoo!
I believe those are Buckhorn handlebars
Yes, I think you are correct. Wahoo!

Ok 2 things number 1 you did not cover were and how the PTO works 2nd , how many Row planter will it pull -------- Wahoo
LOL! From the man who really does know old Ironheads...Wahoo!
I just got my 1st service done. Adjust valves…most a little tight…oil and filter..dang was that factory filter on tight…and I also added a Fuel X lite to it….take it out tomorrow morning and hopefully it adjusts the fuel mapping….all in all not to hard for everything..wahoo!!
I'd love to have the FuelX system...You'll have to let us know how it does. Wahoo!
@@forgottenmotorcycles It was simple to hook up…watched a video on it on RUclips of course….plug and play It seemed to make a sound difference…I do have Rhino Racing mufflers on without db killers….took it out for a 20 mile spin…ran excellent
Had a 76 and loved it but had to let it go cos of hard times, just got an 81, really chuffed and reckon I'll be keeping this one till the end!
An interesting bike to own and ride. Wahoo!
AMF bike they also built a 175 enduro style bike I didnt check but the tank looks AMF Ill have sporty one day
A fun motorcycle...loads of works...Wahoo!
Great classic Sportster Fuzzy! Thanks for the look & ride. Happy 4th! 🇺🇸
Thanks...Wahoo!
Awesome bike, love it! My first Harley was a '79 Ironhead Sportster, I was riding the American Dream in Scotland and loved every minute I was on it! Tightening all the bits that shook themselves loose was all part of the experience lol!
"Tightening all the bits" Yes, you know what I'm talking about...Wahoo!
Glad you ended up with your friends bike. Best way to remember him. All older bikes, to me, are interesting. I learn more evertime I watch your videos. Wahoo.!! 👍👍
Thanks. Older bike are my favorite to ride. Wahoo!
Iron Heads Rule ! ! ! Happy Independence Day !!! WAHOO !!!
Double Wahoo!
Way cool bike fuzzy 😎
Thanks...I'm gonna go ride it now. Wahoo!
I remember road racing against a couple of those at Louden N.H. in the 80's, Beautifull Bikes to look at exquisite, with fine tube frames, and both were in Candy apple red . Another Bike that some tried racing was the Norton's built into Trackmaster frames, both were the same king of Beautifull but didn't seem to make great Roadracers.
They do look good. Wahoo!
My first and only bike so far is the Meteor 350, so many people say I need a bigger bike for highway touring. But click avoid highways on Google Maps and you get a prettier, more relaxing ride and it takes 20% longer to get there but much more enjoyable
Thruxtons last year I believe it's not a one and only bike, but maybe a second or even a third
Wahoo!
If only I had more money and space I'd know how to fill it. Eye candy still works.
Beautiful!
Love the bike, but 57hp out of 1300cc seems pretty low.
Understand that. Take one for a ride. Feels powerful. Wahoo!
Back in the day as teenagers we used to head off on touring adventures on our old unreliable British bikes, plenty of breakdowns but we always got to our destination! It was great fun! For me, the reliability of modern bikes means you can tour on any bike you want to!
This bike did it really well. Loved the ride, for sure. Wahoo! PS no breakdowns...
Amazing motorbike. Nowadays it begins to be valued fairly. It's like nothing you've ever driven. I have one (2006) for a few years and it's one of the motorcycles i enjoy de most. Own personality, robust, agile, fast and very fun. I loved it.
It was an amazing bike to ride. Would love to take one on a long trip. Wahoo!
Thinking of adding Lomo dry bags for my next trip! (Pretty cheap and do the job). The 350 is such a great bike! Fingers x for the 650 classic.
Hoping they do the Classic 650 too!
Givi panniers look great. Realised that a 50l roll bag and a 30l rucksack not enough for my camping needs. So am guessing you got about 250 miles on one tank, similar to the Himmy? I did 2 hrs on the motorway and was hitting 75/80, noticed fuel went a lot quicker. (Had to arrive for 9am and motorway was 45 mins quicker). Def prefer to be doing 60/65 with full load. Super trip!
I'm think'n I was filling the tank at about the 150 mark...didn't want to run short. Does like the 65mph run. Wahoo!
Looks superb! Mine survived its first trails. Few clunks etc.
Great bike!
Lovely!
She's a beauty!
I didnt take my sleeping bag to the ABR, big mistake. Woke up freezing then was like a sauna during the day! Learnt the hard way.
Dang!
Thanks for sharing the adventure. Check out snake alley in Burlington.
Would love to ride/walk that!
No leaks no vibrations really dude Avenue Sports the guys since I was 10 years old bought my first one the day I graduated at age 17 brand new still got it been riding it for 50 years now and still going I'm glad you got the bike but you speak with forked tongue
Wahoo!
You can tour on any size bike. I never understood why you have to have a 900lb rolling couch to tour on. I rather find those little off the highway towns then get straight to destination tired as hell
Love this bike. Wahoo!
A decent road trip that one Fuzzy.A heal toe shifter be better.
I need that shifter. Wahoo!
@@forgottenmotorcycles They are good once you get use them again.I haven't used one for 30yrs🤣 but remember loving it & quicker gear changes. The 350 is the perfect bike for it & Baxter's probably sell them if not available from India or maybe Hitchcock's.
I don't live in the USA and so I'm ignorant of certain aspects of motorcycle touring there. Do you have any problems with wildlife such as bears when you camp? I'm taking my RE 650GT on my first proper ride tomorrow. Short trips until now out of necessity. I'll be doing a few hundred miles around Wales tomorrow. Probably reach the coast then ride around the mountains and valleys before heading back. Love your videos. They inspire. 👍👍
I've camped on the edges of bear country but have never had a problem with them...yet. Sounds like you've got a great trip planned. Enjoy!
Another great video, Fuzzy! When I traded my 350 Meteor for a 350 Classic, the heel-toe shifter was the first thing I missed from the Meteor, so it was my first add-on for the Classic. It is a wonderful accessory.
I'm gonna have to have one too! Wahoo!
what a review Uncle, enjoyed your review💗
Truly a fun motorcycle. Wahoo!
i believe my tank is not right , my fuel light and new guage comes on at about 180 miles , and then only takes 2 gallons, and when i shake it does not sound like there is a gallon left in it, anyone else have this problem
I'm getting about 2.5 to 3 gallons between fills.
Surprised you didn’t it soaked with all the rain we been having here in Iowa.
All the rivers were out of their banks too.
Well done-so good to see someone actually using a bike to GO somewhere rather than just a pointless blast on a round trip. My concerns are; 1. The bl***y awful weather in our UK summer and 2. I'm a fisherman and its hard to carry my gear, but I'm working on it ! Thanks-Tom
Fun bike for all kinds of things. Wahoo!
My Halcyon Green will soon be going on it's first overnighter. It deserves a Motel and will be crossing the Ohio River 3 times, and possibly ferry across it also. I'm very envious of your new garage. My 5 bikes share space with a J D garden tractor and a 5×8 open trailer., and a 📻. Gets tight when alternating bikes for daily rides. Lots of room when I only had 2 bikes. More fun and options with 5. 🤪🤪
Sounds like you've got a good trip planned. I did outgrow my last garage. Love the new digs. Wahoo!
I have the halcyon gray ❤ I’ve done 500miles on it on a overnighter , delightful .
Love that color. Wahoo!
Show us your other bikes
Believe I've done videos on all the bikes in that room. May have to do that again. Wahoo!

Would love to ride an Aero. Wahoo!
Can you please tell the tyre size and width
I'm not sure of tire size. Contact Jeremy at Baxtercycle.com for info.
