There's a Wall of Death here in the UK that performs at many bike shows, they use vintage Indian Scouts and it's awesome to watch. Guy Martin, TT rider and speed freak holds the world record for a Wall of Death lap at 78mph. Well worth a watch on RUclips!
I saw one of these when i was about 6.1966 at the Missouri State Fair.He used an Indian 101 scout. But the American version used a truly vertical barrel not a slope like this.
First and only other one I ever saw was in the late 1960's. Bikes were a pair of HD 45 flatheads. The whole structure was wood wrapped with cables and boy did it sway with the bikes. Same as yours, it has straight walls. I spent all my money that day. Wahoo!
I would get dizzy doing that. Motorcycle Safety instructors in the USA would go nuts watching this.
LOL!
I have been watching it since my childhood in India. Mostly at the Fairs that usually travel from town to town.
it is "well of death" to be precise. it was famous in the 80s and 90s era in India but it is now a rare thing.
Wahoo!
