Im looking at getting the 2024 Nightster Special. How did you get that tank badge for it instead of the rainbow looking badge? I really rather have that simple badge cuz I think it looks so much cleaner and less tacky. Can I ask the dealer to switch badges for me? Nice job on the muffler too, very interesting and gives me some ideas.
I bought that new badge, removed the existing & stuck this bar & shield. Real easy diy. I just uploaded the sissy bar install too. Please share & subscribe 🤜🏽🤛🏽
@@rubenabio8827 You need to squeeze that then remove the screw that’s preventing it from opening up. Or remove all the screws attached to the stock slip on and loosen all the clamps…then pull that out straight back. It will come off. Please share & subscribe 🤜🏽🤛🏽

I just looked more into the video and that hole is pluged with a nut🤔🫨i dont have an extra o2 sensor plug interesting ...i seen this video a while back but didnt get into it i took off my muffler the other week and no engine light was on while riding it 🤔i wonder why this is different is it bc your nightster is a special ? Bc I bought the base nightster
@@SRYUSLW So, I can only think of 1 reason why some Nightsters have THREE O2 sensors and some TWO. These Thailand made Nightsters seem to all have 3, while the other ones made elsewhere have 2. Lucky you because you can actually get rid of the 2-to-1 exhaust system and go for the split 2. I want to put street sweepers on mine if I only have 2 sensors. The HD master mechanic of the dealership showed me all 3 of them and assured me that I don’t use all the 3 sensors, there will be an error. Unless I can find the O2 SENSOR PLUG but this is not available yet. This device will be plugged in the box under the seat and it will basically inform the ecu that there is an O2 sensor eventhough there is not. Thanks for watching.🫡 Please share & subscribe 🤜🏽🤛🏽
I have the special and mine does not have the 3rd o2 either. It's plugged because your bike wasn't shipped to or built for the extra emissions regulations, so they didn't use the 3rd o2
@@ruelorquiza4744 that’s awesome! You have one less problem to deal with when you switch to aftermarket slip ons. The dealership mechanic showed me all 3 on mine.

@@Nucklehead-mm9gfIt came off easy coz it’s just taped with 3M. I used a fishing line to remove the badge from the tank.

I chose a 2024 in billiard grey with the badge. Didn’t like the striped sticker either.

I didn’t this to my bike and my catalytic converter was glowing red and smoking and I don’t think it’s supposed to do that
The 2023 doesn’t have the O2 sensor that’s interesting
Might be a good thing.
My 23 has a spot for o2 sencer but not there
