A superior review. Comprehensive and entertaining to boot. You are a very talented video editor. Thank you for putting in so much effort to make this quality video.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review my review video :) These kind words of encouragement mean a lot to me and keep me motivated. I really appreciate you! Have a nice day mate!
I agree. Dude needs to be more known than yammie noob lol he just doesn't giveaway 100 bikes to kids in America once or twice a month(huge reason his channel grew, over 500k worth or bikes) but in terms of content, your channel is ligit man. Love how much u live bikes(especially that yamaha cafe racer u had, my fave looking yammie)
@DCweldingAndArt Thanks man! Much love! I’ve been watching Yammie for a while, he started off as a cocky yet entertaining squid. But lately I’ve noticed he’s matured and makes a lot of sensible recommendations and comments which I’m quite glad to see. I hope I remind you of his recent version haha! And even though I don’t have the means to give away bikes but I am trying my best to make more videos since this is a mix of a bunch of things I love - bikes, cameras, numbers and stories.
Everything in their catalogue is interesting, attractive and worth serious consideration. As far as I’m concerned, Royal Enfield represents the best value for dollar in motorcycling.
I've been watching RUclips videos for the last couple of weeks on this topic, and this is by far the most detailed and well put together video that I've seen. I've subscribed to your channel and looking forward to watching your older videos.
Thank you! I’m glad you liked it, welcome onboard, I try my best to improve with every video so I’m keen to know if you see the difference between the older videos and the recent ones. Looking forward to your feedback. Cheers!
And now, most favourite will be the Bear 650. Hope for some comparison update on that! From the first reviews and my impression, the Bear looks like the perfect combination of style, riding position, sport handling + limited offroad capabiteties, all that esp. thanks to that upside down fork and more rigid frame.
The video was expertly synchronized. I love watching your detailed comparison of bikes. The Royal Enfield Bullet is like a classic Bollywood music, when you hear it, you sing along to the song. Seeing a Bullet brings beautiful memories back 😊
Very good review my friend, you've smartly (maybe inadvertently) covered several topics which haven't been mentioned by more "serious" reviewers ... keep it going! - Cheers from Chennai
Thank you sir. I appreciate the love and appreciation. Everything I’ve done in the video is deliberate, only inadvertent things would be minor mistakes here and there. Cheers!
Thanks for the video. I really love the looks of the spoked-wheel version of the Interceptor, but I'm really scared to think of getting a puncture somewhere in the countryside. I don't want to mess with any conversion kits to make the tires tubeless. I'm still sitting on the fence.
I can fix my tires myself but I don’t want the hassle, so I’m in the same boat. There is an expensive solution out there, cross spoked wheels that support tubeless tires. At the moment, I’m told they’re available on the Himalayan 450 (different size though) so I’m hoping they would make those available on rest of the bikes as well. Or you could buy one with cast wheels.
Bloody good job mate 🎉 At this present time im leaning towards the Interceptor 650 Dark Barcelona. But, the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and 500 in KRC has my thoughts. Looking forward to test riding them.
Thank you! Ninja 650 & Interceptor 650 are very different bikes. I think a Ninja 650RS is a more appropriate comparison. Nevertheless, you can watch videos about those on my channel but as i always say, nothing beats a test ride, so good luck buddy!
@RiderXp mate I agree about the comparison of the RS, as far as retros go I was pointing out 3 of the bikes I was interested in.buying. Yep, test riding is the only way to go.
Thank you for doing this. I'm thinking about a Royal Enfield for my next bike and your thorough comparison really helps. I've been leaning towards the Shotgun as it's a mid-mount cruiser and I'm not worried about speed. Your channel and videos are excellent and are always entertaining and informative.
Hi Faraz thank you so much for your video , i think to buy the RE Continental GT but seeing your video i think to change with the Interceptor, but at first in the new year i have to test drive this two Bikes....best greetings from Sardinia , Salvatore
I’m glad that you liked the video and found it helpful, this is exactly what I live for - to help others make more informed decisions. Wish you the best with the test ride, that is the exact right way to finally decide which one works best for you. Greetings- Faraz
You’re welcome! If you’re cool with the riding position (or plan to customize the ergos), the continental is a very easy win over all of them. Please share the video with others who may find it interesting to watch. Cheers!
@@RiderXp The soft suspension was one point I was not sure about and I was drawn towards the Shotgun, but I prefer the classic look. I already own a BMW R18 and a Indien Chief Bobber Dark Horse, big and torquey bikes, but I want something for the city and small twisty mountain roads we have here a lot. I was thinking in terms of a BMW R12, but then I discovered Royal Enfield. I love the honest bikes htey build. They are not pretending to be something they are not. I am not afraid of modifications. The only problem is parts have to be certified for use on public roads in Germany and the EU and many of the stuff you mentioned is not. I found some interesting stuff already, tires, rear suspension, exhaust and seat, but I am still looking for the front suspension.
It’s not horrible for street use but if you are used to higher quality suspension, you will notice the difference. Ohlins and KTech also make suspension components for them, you may want to look into that. Good Luck!
I'm getting 75-80 mpg out of my Continental. I also have a few mods i.e DNA filter, Powerage Silencers, FuelX Lite and some bar-risers (CooperB Bikes) to help comfort (for an old person like myself) and have Bridgestone BT46 tyres but only fitted when the original tryes needed replacing.
@@RiderXp I've done around 8,000 miles, so far. The only issues I've had are the speedo cable breaking (internal wires causing the speedo to wander before giving up all together at 7,300 miles) and the clocks mist up sometimes ...but do eventually clear. I do get a little uncomfortable after 2-3 hours of riding, needing a short break for my knees and shoulders. However at my age, I get uncomfortable sitting in an armchair for 2-3 hours😁. My brother has the Super Meteor, which is more comfy but it's not as agile or quite as nippy.
@leighcoulson2148 Fair enough! Thank you for sharing the candid feedback. It help me bolster my knowledge base as well helps others looking to buy the bikes. I appreciate you sir. Have a nice weekend and stay safe 👍🏼

Good review. Most online reviews are only for a new royal Enfield. After the first 4000 kms, or a couple of years you start seeing the substandard materials used on them.
Thank you. I do like to cover the reliability and owner feedback in my videos. Glad you found that helpful. Please share the video with others who may like it.

Love the excellent content coverage ❤ but not a big fan of the voice modulation. FYI regarding fuel gauge, the float is on the left side of the tank, so it shows high value when just moved from kick stand. The guage settles after about 90 seconds of straight line riding.
I'm glad you like the video content. Thanks for the insight about the fuel guage but I've owned several bikes (even cheaper than the ones I compared in the video) and none of them had that problem. Which means, reliable fuel reading can be accomplished if it is thoughtfully engineered. Your criticism of my voice modulation is acknowledged but not helpful. I never received criticism from major native English speaking countries that are majority of my viewers (even locally in the US) but every now and then, I do get someone like you and that's fine. I just take it in my stride and keep putting my heart and soul into my love for motorcycles and making videos and in the process helping other motorcyclists with their motorcycle due diligence and purchase decision. Regards, - Faraz
Depends on what you are looking to do with it. Interceptor has been around longer so aftermarket parts are easily available and more options out there. It’s lighter, feels more maneuverable and one can easily find used ones too. Shotgun has navigation and some more conveniences like digital dash, gear indicator etc. but it’s a little bulky especially in tight spaces. Other than that if you watch the entire video, you might get a better idea as well.
I think the tubeless complaint is a bit of a canard. Are you carrying around a puncture kit and an air compressor on your rides? If not, you are in the same position as having a tube. You'll be needing to call a truck to pick you up. And the tube has the benefit of just replacing it rather than throwing your tire away. As to braking, sounds like you figured it out. Pretty much all cruisers have less powerful front brakes mainly due to being heavier. OTOH, their long wheelbases mean you can use the rear brake together which make braking sufficiently quick w/o having to worry about the back end fishtailing (if the rear tire is even on the ground) on sportier machines. Great info about the tire and shock choices. Both are areas that concern me about the brand. Personally, I like the Classics myself, but like the wind protection of the Super Meteor. Do wish that one came with a floorboard a heel shifter option though. Pegs are awfully far forward for me.
I’m glad you found some helpful information therein. As for my preference of Tubeless over tubed tires, it comes from experience with both. Typically when a tubed tire loses air pressure, it’s all but gone. In most cases, a tubeless tire doesn’t lose all the pressure and more often than not I have been able to ride it to the nearest repair shop. Another problem with spoked rims is their susceptibility to getting misaligned and need a good tech to set it right diligently. I do not miss those days; and to that extent, I’m appreciative of modern convenience available on generally old school and simple bikes.
Should be the new yammie noob lol much more likeable personality too lol he gives away bikes but man, lol his commentors are HARSH towards them sometimes. 🤣 rightfully so sometimes.
