Great job. I HATE plumbing jobs. I had a leaking shower. I was about to tackle it, based on your video, but I had to call a plumber for larger, more complicated job. While he was here, I just had him replace the cardridge in the shower. I started to take a shower that night and, sure enough, no hot water! But, thanks to you. I knew how to fix it. Easy as pie -- no worse than changing a light bulb.
So glad you took the time to post this. I've had those washers replaced twice and the issue kept coming back. Now that I know that it was a seat issue, I was able to watch your video, go get the parts and do it myself the right way. Thanks so much for the lesson. Yep, never too late to learn something new. :)
Thank you so much fir taking the time to share your feedback. So glad this helped you solve your issue.
Thank you for taking the time to compose and upload this. I think I just saved some emergency repair money. I appreciate it. Kudos.
Your welcome. so glad we helped you.
Great video but I have a question. I have a shower very similar the the one in the video and I think the fixtures are origins to the 60’s when the house was built. How do I know what brand stems I need to get to replace my leaking ones?
Great idea, great video! I like how it was informative but you came up with a creative way to make it entertaining as well. And thanks for the part about the nicks on the seat causing leaks and how to check them
Thank you I now have an understanding where to start.
So are you opening the stem when taking out of the wall and when reinstalling the new one you are putting the stem in the closed position to reinstall?
Nice touch with your eyes closed, great video! Next project a new smoke detector battery!
Thanks for the informative video. It would have been helpful to recommend a handle puller tool as mine was hopelessly stuck without it and I had to made a second run to the hardware store. Thankfully, that was the hardest part.
What if my pfister hot amd cold shower valve doesnt have a seat? Do you recommend changing it to a Danco valve?
I replaced the stems in a similar 2 handle shower valve setup, but the water is still flowing full blast, and no hot water is produced. What could explain this?
I just changed my valve ,Thank you for posting .
So glad this helped you. Appreciate your feeeback.
Hands down, impressed 👍
I just fixed mine , thank you so much for the inspiration
How do I get the handle off , it did now just come right off with the screw ?
The blind plumber
You should try driving with your eyes closed…lol
Suggest how to repair a popup drain assembly
Please change the battery on the smoke detector, its been chirping for 2 years 😂
Hey good stuff but eyes closed we’re not necessary. Do I turn off the water in the entire house before I do this? Thanks
Yes must to house water off
There was a Bugs Bunny episode that apparently took place entirely under water but for no apparent reason, maybe the animators were amusing themselves. Why did you want to do this with your eyes closed? It's again, seemingly for no apparent reason. lol But it was clear and informative nonetheless. Thanks for the video. It doesn't help me - my stems are white plastic (old very old) and they don't behave like any of these easier-to-replace valve/stems. grrrr
You didn't show covering the drain to catch small parts
I replace my cold water pfister stem but its hard to open and close what I'm doing wrong
You may have the packing brass nut to tight Xavier
Need to loosen packing nut a bit.
Would of been nice to zoom in more on the handles and on what you were doing.
Great point! Thanks for the fedback.
Why the eyes closed? I find such a distracting gimmick.
I can only guess to show how easy it is? But honestly it was more annoying than anything.
Te pasaste de verga compadre! This means, you’re so funny my friend. 😂

Y SI!!😎👍🤣🤣
Didn't care for the video. Didn't really show how to fix it. Just a guy showing off how he could do it with his eyes closed. Not a help for me.
