- Lookie Lou's Episode 20: Think of it as giving your Turntable new pairs of shoes! Make your turntable sound even better with a simple, inexpensive upgrade using the isoAcoustic OREA Series Isolation pucks. Or as we call them: inexpensive widgets that not only work, but improve the musical experience. And to prove it, you can use our OREA Bronze loaners as “try-ons” for your turntable to hear it for yourself before you buy them.

I have them on my turntable and speakers after hearing a demonstration at the Toronto stereo fest in Canada. I couldn't believe what a difference it made, in sound and they had them on concrete floors, which I thought would not make a difference in sound but it did. They sounded to me more opened and airy that's the best way I can describe it.
Thank you, John, for the testimonial. Sometimes widgets fall short and then there are time when it is simply "wow."
Best and only upgrade to any rega🎉
Thank you for the support. Please continue to share with other you know about what we are doing here and don't forget to visit www.audibleelegance.com and read the blogs.
Are they adjustable , up /down?
They do not have either height or tilt adjustments. What is your application?
I use these EXACT isolators on my P3, I started off with trying a friend's Graphite version which was BETTER than the OG rega feet but I could clearly see that my delrin platter was too heavy for them which I knew anyway(but wanted to try to hear if there was a difference). Now after purchasing my own Orea Bronze feet (x3) EVERYTHING snapped into place, the most revealing thing is the reduction with smear in the sound reproduction which was already fine.
I find "taking off the rega feet so the isolators adhere to the bottom of the turntable, then one isolator at the FRONT in the middle two at the BACK in each corner to be the best sound quality" as there`s more weight at the rear, confirmed not only by listening but having my turntable off lining up a record lowering the arm onto the record near the motor & turning up the volume to ascertain acoustic feedback, volume dial is hitting way passed were I would listen to music with no feedback picked up.
Like what is mentioned if you can try & send back with no quibble then they are worth a go!
Indeed, they are wonderful but people need to also select the version that is proper for the weight being supported.
I've been using cheap and cheerful Diversitech E.V.A. pads under my gear for years. They are about $1 for each 2"x2" pad and work quite nicely for most electronics (amps, cd players, etc.) For turntables, especially non-suspended ones, I use BrightStarAudio Isonodes as feet ($15 -$25 for a set of 4 depending on weight rating) with the Diversitech E.V.A. pads under the Isonodes. With both in place, it takes some serious vibrational intensity before negative sonic/mechanical effects are noticed.
There are three things I can say about widgets. One, is that they come in all sorts of forms, shapes, colors, and cost. Two, there is never any guarantee that any of them will work at all in your application which is why we have a loaner program. And Three, generally speaking, they all have an effect but few actually make things better. Many make things worse.
I accomplished the same thing with Official game puck sponge hockey pucks. $75.00 for a case
Great. Maybe it will work for others. Vibration is a very funny thing. I know one person who swore that cutting a tennis ball in half and wedging it between the faceplate and the transformer was amazing. He is a brilliant person, responsible for inventing Pampers and so many other things for Proctor & Gamble.
Thank you for taking the time to comment and please enjoy my other 175 videos. Please tell others about my channel and maybe they will subscribe.
They work loads better with the old feet totally removed.
Paul, the funny thing about vibration is it can be quite variable depending upon what an item is placed. Our recommendations are based upon consistency in results. There can certainly be cases where it not only fails to work but can, in fact, make matters worse. Thus, the ability to return them is always essential.
