Looks super nice. Great work. I use slate platforms under my devices. Really affordable and great results. Bring‘s out more detail, tighter bass, more clarity. And slate looks also fine.
If you have access to cast off stone thats a great idea. Years ago I built a platform using a 3" thick maple cutting board and some 2" sorbothane hemispheres. I would have used granite but could not afford what they asked for it in my home town. The $40 12x18 cutting board was pricey but the improvement in my RP3 was worth the price.
5:31 and I am thinking typical bloke, 2 cans of beer in the back ground, then you pick one up and their tennis balls lol. Tidy job may I add nice to see other people's ideas on supports.
You can make it differently without cnc. You can get a piece of stone at any countertop company which cut stones. Ask them for an offcut. Most of workers will give it for free.
LOL, yeah $10 because we all have CNC lathes in our basements or workshops and secondly, it we picked through the dumpster here in the US we would be arrested
Strange how the granite cutting blocks under most of my gear speakers and turntable included makes such a big difference to the sound of it. A 90's Planner 3 is quiet resilient to foot fall but the granite it's sitting on has tightened and deepened bass output.

Would you be interested in making several of those tennis ball bases? Are they high density board ? Let me know, peace, Greg.
I can't believe you found scrap marble just lying around like that. Here, they would have been kept by the contractors for future uses or sales.
I like it. Great job!
I'd love to see more videos
Hi what is the curved arch material then
wow amazin rig dude!
Can you share the CNC files for the ball -cup holders ?

Gonna see if my high school will give me access to their cnc machine so I can make one of these
Fantastic job sir, I would build one , but I don't have a CNC machine.. and I don't know where there is a bin full of stone scraps either. Thanks

@JOGO - any place of business that installs countertops will have a salvage bin out back containing granite and all other stone materials.
@@JD-qd5zp thank you I found a place like you said and they have you fill out a waiver stating if you get hurt you can’t sue Lol 😂..

It makes watching these videos tiring.
This project requires extreme handiwork, DIY my ass, hahaha!
Nice👍👍👍👍
Try memory foam on top.
@Coneman3 - Memory foam on top of what, please?
On top of any solid base.
Stone is a horrible material. Hard and resonates badly
Granite is a widely accepted/desired material for isolation because of its dense, anti vibrational properties. Where did you come up with this?
it gives density. mix it with vibroelastic layers. stone/rubber foam/stone/rubber feet
