I cannot think that there is a better all-rounder than you Elin, certainly in Canada, possibly in the whole of the USA!

It’s about time someone granted him a mortgage. He really deserves to be recognised.

Elin, if you are managing to keep the Wolf from the door and your family are all healthy, then you should be happy. Thank you for sharing these lovely things with all of us. 🙏

I'm with David on this. It's tough to find a good mechanic and when you do find one you don't want to tell anyone because you hate to lose them.

Sounds like word is getting out about how good you are. If youre not careful then you'll never get to work on your own projects. A lot of guys are afraid to raise their rates because they feel bad charging more. Heres a little math someone shared with me once - if you double your rates and loose half your customers, then you're making the same amount of money and only having to work half as much, leaving more time for friends, family, and yourself. Dont be afraid to charge what you're worth. Also I'm looking forward to seeing your own projects move along. Something i enjoy about channels like yours is seeing the whole project, everything that goes into it, and all the puzzle solving along the way.

This makes me want Patton FI. The throttle response was really good! You and Tush should get together on a big shop and hire a couple more guys. The work is there!

Top stuff.. ex TR6 owner here. Interestingly I had all the bodywork and engine issues you have shown, although mine were UK CP engined cars way back when. Keep up the good work

Hi Elin My 2500S sedan has the same (or appears to be the same) inlet manifold with HS6 SU's.The "balance tube" between the carbies is BLOCKED with an Aluminium plug so that there is no connection between the carbies on the vacuum side. You can check by putting a wire into the booster connection hole and see if it connects to the front carby.
So, in my case, all the brake booster vacuum comes from 4,5 and 6. The Plug/connection at the front goes to 1,2,and 3 and was used for an EGR connection for emissions control. If you connect the MAP sensor to the inlet manifold on the back inlet, as you have done you are not measuring correct MAP and the computer will only sense what is happening to 4,5 and 6. (or even only 6)
Also the idle air valve is only supplying air to 1,2 and 3, Maybe this is the problem.
    Cheers from Australia

Incorrect pressure gauge installed and then not accurate. Time to divulge the name and location of this shop. Hard to believe a difference of 2 psi would make that much difference to the computer, sounds like it might be time to think about upgrading the computer to something more modern with better software management.
