So I'll just say the same thing everyone else has said (only differently): any other car might have gone straight in the bin, but as long as you can still (mostly) read the vin, then a Cosmo is pretty well worth building from pictures n drawings! And you've got way more than that!! Cheers from Canada eh!
That's tough... so much rust. Excellent work it's great to see such beautiful rare car being restored. The laser cleaner is a cool tool to have! I guess it's quite similar to a laser welder just with different optics?
I bet at night when its quiet in the workshop if you listen very carefully you will hear that car slowly rusting away! You have a challenge ahead with that one.
Congratulations to your confidence, bravery and skills! I‘d sink to my knees, suck my thumb and cry like a baby if I had to do this never ending frustrating heap of metal work… good luck, and thanks for your fascinating videos! 😮 👍
Just to say I look forwards to your videos every time, and you never disappoint with the energy and skills you show time and time again, fantastic and so calming. KUDOS
Gents, Such avgreat work done 👌 Great presentation 👍 Rust therapy 😁 One wish though - put those dinitrol products thet you use in description. And the tools you use. Will help us a lot. BTW - I restored Alfa Spider 1972 - 25 years ago. Treated with Dinitrol ML - not a single bubble came out. Great product all the way 👍
More Holes than Swiss cheese…. Why are we not seeing any DINITROL going onto the revealed rust around the windscreen before the weld through primer goes on? You used it around the rear of the sill after the laser treatment which seems like the best approach
I really enjoy your work, you do, do a really good job. But, that chuffing HORRIBLE MUSIC !!!!!!! 😠😠😠 Please change it. or better still none at all and we can hear you working... That music really is bad Bad BAD!!!😠😠😠😠
YCR's Mazda Cosmo: Handbuilt twice.. 😂.. Greetings from South Africa ❤❤
That laser anti rust device would have been useful on the Disaster Datsun a couple of years back , amazing work as ever Ryan
Incredible work right there ...enjoy watching this series....thanks for taking the time to share
Great Fab work as usual Ryan and good to see Dad back on the job. Now, where’s the Escorts?!!
On the quest to find metal, holy what a mission
harder than the HOLLY GRAILEL on that thing

How is it with the mats armstrong bmw ?
Shouldn't the title read "Cosmic amounts of rust......." ;) I'll get me coat 🤣🤣🤣
First😂
Legend :)
Ryan, it would be interesting to know how many days and manhours this footage covers. Outstanding magic as always! Cheers from Germany!
Bloody amazing, Ryan!! 😮
You are spoiling us with all this catastrophic Cosmo content. Great stuff and really enjoying it.
That is some serious work- brilliant

It might be the worst car I've seen on your channel - but its also the one which is worth it!
This one is just rusty. The Datsun is also full of bad repairs. And yes this one is rare
Great to see the catastrophic Cosmo again! This project is wild in scope.
This is really a car that deserves the enormous amount of work required to bring it back from the dead...
I bet at night when its quiet in the workshop if you listen very carefully you will hear that car slowly rusting away! You have a challenge ahead with that one.
Amazing work !
nice work

That car is somewhat like trigger's broom
Hi, great video 😄 Why do we sometimes see Dinitrol 443 and sometimes 444?
I'd say that that car is Swiss cheese, but Swiss cheese doesn't have that many holes!
A pound of cheese and half a pound of holes !!
It should be renamed the Emmentaler Cosmo.
If this Cosmo is a rusty statue of liberty, then you just fixed her big toe. 😂
Car S.O.S. would have that car back on the road in an hour ! 😂😂😂😂😂
Definitely got your work cut out for you,but coming back from the dead.just keep on doing your thing.be safe 👍👍👍😎😎😎
any original metalwork left in that car in the end I'll be gobsmacked lol
Like opening a can of worms
These cars are not rusty, they are MADE out of rust…
I’ll bet the St Christopher badge is rusty
This is mesmerizing and wonderful to watch. Who let this car get into such a miserable state?
It's not rust, it's automatic weight reduction.

God gracious 😶
Looks like a MK2 mx5 rust rust and more rust .. 😮
Hi. Do you use a special paper to make templates? Good videos. Peter. Tasmania
is there any good metal on it
Great work but there must of been a discussion of is it repairable? More to the point is it worth repairing in terms of cost
I really enjoy your work, you do, do a really good job.
