Dolores is my favorite! I love how they made her look, and one of my favorite parts about her is the red bow and bun in her hair it looks so pretty on Dolores. Also what markers do you use?

I really love all the designs of the encanto characters but Dolores really stood out the most to me cause I love RED
Dolores fits every style, this is SO CUUUTE
Theory about encanto:
Dolores is the villain.
Reason(s) why:
When mirabel returned the magic to the house near the end, Dolores was the only one that had a sad face. Thus she was unhappy about getting the magic back. As you know she has the powers to hear everything. Thinking about it, it must be very obnoxious to hear whispering, talking, screaming etc. all at once. Dolores probably didn’t like her powers, as when she told everyone at the dinner table “mirabel is in Bruno’s vision now we’re all doomed!” she held her ears. A sign her ears hurt, thus she didn’t feel comfortable with her magic, so reason why she had a sad face like I said before, is that she wanted the magic to go away, so she wouldn’t have to be in pain no longer.
Anyways, hope you enjoyed my theory and this drawing is amazing- all of your art is!
Also Dolores could hear Luisa’s eye twitches and if she can hear that she also heard Bruno in the walls and she didn’t do anything about it
@@pauleensprayandplay9096 she did she literally tells Mirabel in we don't talk about bruno but mirabel ignores the point of her character is that she's useful to her family when she can tell them what they want to hear which probably meant she related to bruno but also bruno didn't want to be found and alma didn't want people talking about him and this rule has been in place she was a young child so like everyone else just accepted it as the norm and didn't bring it up
ok but that wouldn't make her the villain encanto is a movie with no villain its about generational trauma her wanting the magic gone because her gift only causes her pain and gifts being a metaphor for generational trauma it makes sense
I also love Dorlores! But I like because she is relatable! I have sensitive hearing so she is just like me!!

One thing that made me love Dolores is her “mmp”. I often get anxiety tics, and I make the same noise! It honestly made me so happy when I watched the movie

I'm always so impressed by how amazingly good you are at doing library and shading! It looks great as always and it's cool to see you draw a fan art piece once. I'd like to see Camilo next since I've grown to like him (despite not having seen Encanto yet XD) and since you don't draw a lot of male characters.

I truly love all your drawings, my only complaint is that you tend to draw them with lighter hair instead of like being closer to black... The only ones that I would say who have truly lighter hair would be Luisa, Camilo, a little bit Dolores and definitely Pepa... Although true black hair does not exist, it's always and extremely dark brown...

Dolores I so me, from the quiet speaking voice, sensitivity to loud sounds, to the occasional squeak. I even wear my hair like her. When I watched Encanto Dolores had me wondering if the writers had been following me around preproduction. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Actually my friend pointed out something they said they heard which was both Delores and Bruno have different senses for their gifts, Delores hearing and Bruno vision, and both their doors and only their doors have their eyes open and not smiling, I think if I remember correctly at the end tho their eyes are closed on the big door to casita(I can’t remember though)
Fun fact: she could hear Bruno in the walls.
