I discovered your channel only w few days ago but honestly this is some of the most in depth and intelligent analysis of basketball that I've seen especially when it comes to yhe draft
Not sure if ppl remember this but Castle missed a good portion of the season after knee surgery and I think it slowed him down athletically and he still stood out in his role… I don’t think he necessarily needs to be a high volume 3pt shooter to be a star like Jimmy Butler, SGA and DeMar and on the next level with experience and polish I believe he could have the highest ceiling. He has some star aura too and that’s a real thing imo. I see his floor as high caliber role player and ceiling All-NBA maybe I’m way off but I’m not alone in this sentiment
@@yerrrrrrrr4567 He is nearly 6’7 in shoes 210lbs with a 6’9 wingspan at age 19 with 37” vertical and plays strong he has plenty of functional athleticism to be a star it just will take time for him to polish his skillset and maybe he never gets there but I’d bet on him being an elite role player regardless based on defense, size, and being a high iq player
First, Happy Birthday 🎊🎂🎁 Second, I think it would be good to include the positions these prospects are able to play on their bars, if only to serve the fans like me who have been focused on the finals and aren’t necessarily familiar with who these guys are and what they play.
Absolutely one of my fav videos from you! I loved last year’s video and I certainly love this one. I appreciate the time and effort you take assembled here and it is very easy to follow! Keep up the awesome work as Always!
After box and one left I had a hole missing in my draft needs, found Sheldon, always checking to see if he drops, hope this guy gets a job as a scout! And on the other hand I don’t cuz i love his content! Keep it up big man
Glad you brought back this style of big board from last year. I think it's my favorite format. Cody Williams eval is spicy but I like it! Reed is still my guy.
Awesome video Sheldon , and happy birthday . I just found your vids this draft cycle and you are definitely my favorite nba content guy on yt . You match my basketball philosophy to a tee , and its nice to watch nba videos with the nuance you bring
I really appreciate that! Glad you found the channel and even happier you enjoy it thoroughly. I love talking hoops and I feel blessed to have a platform. Thanks for the birthday wishes!
Happy birthday Sheldon! Been watching you since last year’s draft/evaluation cycle, been hooked ever since then. Congrats on the continued success and here’s to the future of your channel. Note, next year can you do this video style from left to right instead of right to left? So used seeing ascending graphs from left to right 😅
Thanks Jake! Appreciate that! It’s funny because I started the board working from #1 down (so I worked left to right)! Definitely get what you’re saying ahahaha
Miami Heat draft Zach Edey and 2nd round Justin Edwards, ZYON Pullin, Keshad Johnson, or Antonio Reeves. Heat move Bam to 4 and 5 Zach Edey and Jonas. Jimmy and Zach become Shaq and Wade.
(Spurs fan here) Just want to say "Thank You Sheldon" for all of your hard work throughout the season for all of the informative videos(even on days you weren't feeling well)I appreciate everything that you do to bring us all great entertainment. Can't wait for the draft tomorrow night!
This probably wouldn't be interesting for most viewers, but it would be cool to see a similar potential chart for active NBA players. Maybe all players 21 and younger.
@@UtilitySports your welcome 🙏 and got a puppy 🐶 last year and That’s was my golden birthday present and on my golden birthday and I got puppy 🐶 and thank and thank you 🙏 so much and your welcome 🙏 as well
This is the first draft I have guys I really like potentially late in the 1st rd or even early second. I'm usually too zoned in on lottery guys but I really like Baylor and Pacome. Very intrigued to see where they go!
I’m way higher on Dalton knecth. You pointed out how important shooting is and his offense is nba ready. On the right team he is going to drop 20-30+ every night. The defense will come as he adapts and is coached because he has the height and athletic ability.
My concern with Dilly is he might be the worst defender in the league (who plays high minutes). Anfernee Simons is that guy rn imo and his impact on winning (as well as his ability to stay healthy) playing a high usage role against bigger stronger athletes is still questionable despite averaging near All-Star caliber offensive numbers the last couple seasons and he is a bit bigger than Dilly and more hops. With a better defensive roster I believe Simons will fair better I don’t hate him but are we sure Dilly won’t be worse on D and will be as good on offense? There are many reasons to be skeptical imo which is why I have him at 10
Also one last thing , I understand what you’re saying about your PFs needing to be 3pt guys. But just a question , would you say then that if Lamarcus Aldridge were to come out in next years draft he probably A) wouldn’t get picked very high B) not be that or as good of a player as he was because of his reliance on the midrange even though he was supper efficient with it ?
This draft is gonna be so interesting to see how the board plays out, and looking back at this draft years down the road I wonder who will be the best players in the long run.
Also I understand this is the whole point of this big board HOWEVER if there was one or a few player(s) that you believe could surpass even your top end expectations for them , who would that be ?
People won't use jalen Williams success to more accurately measure cody Williams trajectory, but they should. It's additional information. Not the end all be all, but jalen was a late bloomer. His body didn't fill out and the jump shot wasn't there until his 3rd year in college. Cody was a freshman. There is a potential that cody will grow on a similar time line but had the luxury of going to a bigger school and having a better build so he was a one and done.
Every team that passes on Kelel Ware will regret it big time. Hope he goes to Chicago where he would probably start soon in the season. Quick for a guy possessing his length and a good jump shooter. Great shot blocker and a decent passer, Pick Ware and be happy
Sheldon. I think you should become an NBA scout buddy. You can keep your RUclips channel, but go be a scout for a while then come back
He'd have to be hired 1st
Happy birthday ❤🎉great content

he doesnt have the handle of sga or derozan he gets very little separation and he doesbt blow by people not to mention the difference in athleticism
So many people focus solely on potential. But I think this draft will be so important for teams taking high floor players.
Absolutely!
People say this is a weak draft class yet it could produce many good role players and some all stars.
First, Happy Birthday 🎊🎂🎁
