Elden Ring DLC - I hate the Scadutree Avatar

Edit: I should mention i don't this boss is terrible i just dislike get beat up by an overgrown plant.
This pesky Sunflower besides Radahn cooked me the most on my first playthrough. Why is it the only boss in this DLC with a hidden health bar why does it blast the player 3 times in phase 2 .

Took a while to learn his moves, then I realized a shield and storm blade made it pretty trivial
