If I may add on to the third tip, there's a second way to add a sharp stroke to text. Type out your text, right click it's thumbnail and convert it to a shape, use the custom shape tool, and from there you can edit the size of the stroke freely at any time without the use of filters.

It says the file is 8-9MB, but the saved JPEG is around 20, which means I can't use it. Anyone that knows a fix to it? :/

7:23 another way is to make a new layer and go to image>apply image. This will merge all of your visible layers onto that new layer.
