I am fortunate to have a job that I truly love: shooting and making films. But not all jobs are created equal. Some are more fun, but aren't monetarily very successful. While others pay well, but aren't exactly a grand time. But today I want to talk about a project that I do every year that is a great balance between the two - a creatively fulfilling and well-paying branded content documentary job for Marriott Hotels. Every year, Marriott hires me and my team and sends us around the world to film their Awards of Excellence videos, mini documentaries about their employees of the year.
Today I go into the skills needed to be able to do a job like this and to hopefully inspire you to go after similar jobs.
