Thank you for a very insightful video, @CurrenSheldon. If you don't mind, I have a couple of questions: 1. I hear that putting a Matt-box on the lens obscures the Lidar. How did you handle this? 2. If I use a Sigma E-Mount lens, would I get features such as Distortion/ Breathing correction in the camera? 3. Any idea whether DJI plans to support the BRAW Codec? ProRes RAW into DaVinci Resolve is a pain. 4. How about writing to CFAST B cards? I REALLY want canon to make a proper FX3 competitor. Give us the C400 C80 sensor in an R5. You can even cut raw past 23.98. I just need something that is easy to mount on a gimbal and carry around all day. I currently run a C400 C70 setup but the C70 really isn’t ideal for Gimbal use. Yes it works but it’s not ideal and it’s heavy for long shooting days.

I’ve been using the R5c/R6ii combo with a R7 backup. After tomorrow my A/B will be a C80/R5c and C/D will be R6ii/R7……. Until I get a C70. Then the R7 goes and it will be my C80/C70/R5c

I had the DJI Osmo w/ zenmuse x3.. I loved it..always wanted to upgrade but back then was kinda pricey to me 😅

Im using two C70 cameras as A and B cam. :) And a R5C and R3 for photos. Works really good but its a lot of cameras to log around.

I keep going back and forth on either a used C500 Mark ii or a C400. Either way, a C80 as a B cam is a great option both cameras.

I've been looking at the C70 for a long time. Now, with the C80 and the C400 it seems like a marriage made in heaven. I hope I can pick these two bad boys up some day.

Couldn’t agree more I have pocket 3 and the amazing Ronan 4D with the flex and transmission monitor But would love some in between the two I have worked with DJI and suggested this years ago !

What did you not like on the c70-c300iii in comparison to the c80-c400?

Yeah that was the worst investment I have ever made but yes the concept was amazing but for sure missed the mark!

I picked up the R5C as my A can right now (because I can build it up on set or strip it down for travel) with the intention of getting a C80 or C400 down the line. I might also just switch to Sony at some point 😂 we’ll see how things go.

What is your favorite A-Cam, B-Cam Combo? Is the C400/C80 the best any manufacturer has ever done in creating the perfect combination?

I’m using the C70 as my A cam and my B cam is the R6 MKII, works fine for my use case, especially when I’m shooting content where I have full control of the lighting conditions.

We like the FX6 and the FX3! The sensor is indeed the same. Also true for the a7s III & zv-e1.

Can they at least make the updated Zenmuse X7 gimbal compatible with a gimbal handle? Although a M4/3 lems mountnwould be best. I'd love the Pro Raw updated. Just make quieter, interchangeable lens, small monitor. Keep interchangeable batteries with option for dummy battery. At minimum, make a pockrt 3 withote lens options for wide and telephoto. For now, I'm using my Lumix GM1 strapped onto a Hohem M7 😊 or my Scorp Mini 2 with the camera brand's monitoring app.

Thank you for your thoughts on this Curren Curios (more of a 4d question) - have you tried mapping this onto the 4ds Lidar? If so, does it track well? Good enough for a skinny crew job? Hoping to take this to a more stylized doc as well, with th 4d b cam to my burano

Great video. Truly hope DJI sees this and considers bringing this same concept just enhanced with all of the knowledge they acquired through these passing years. Maybe a DGO version like how the GH7 sensor is with computational processing.

a mirrorless 1D 8k so baically the 4d 8k without all gimbals that would be the b-cam i would instantly buy ... the osmo would also be great but i woul also love to see the amazing mavic 3 pro mft sensor on the osmo and on the action cam etc ...

The Pocket 3's success should let them know this form factor is a huge winner. I love my Pocket 3, but I really really want something more telephoto.

Hello, concernant le DJI Osmo, on peut remplacer le téléphone par un DJI Christal Sky ce qui améliore grandement le combo et surtout fini le GSM et on peu aussi un 4 eme axe.

This was my dream camera, as quickly as it appeared and was a thing, it disappear quicker and was overpowered by drones, action cameras and other phone turned video cameras.

Dude! I've been wishing for DJI to make something like this (full frame, though) not even realizing they already made it years ago! They need to do it again!

I roll with the C400 and a C70. The triple ISO and stickier AF on the C400 is big. Talking head stuff the C70 is gem. I've shot vids and cut the two. It works fine.

I’ve been waiting for DJI to release a larger-sensor camera with better low-light performance and interchangeable lenses-I’d grab that instantly!

omg, this just reminded me that i have the osmo pro combo in the basement collecting dust. man this camera had such potential....couldn't focus worth for shiiiii tho. but I'm sure it could have been fixed with update. let me see if i can get at least $100 for it #ugh

Nice video... and as everyone has different needs I went for stabilised lenses instead of cine lenses. I do use it on C70. I mostly dont have time to set up anything else.
