The Peruvian Weavers | A Canon C70 Observational Film

For a commercial job earlier in the year, I was able to go to Peru to film with the people of Chincheros, a beautiful area outside of Cusco, Peru. We spent a day filming with them as they worked and cooked. Enjoy!

Do the weavers wear their colorful clothes daily, or was this a special occasion? Also, there were so many wonderful shots in this short piece that I need to go back and rewatch a few times.

Thanks for watching and glad you liked it. Good question about the clothing - I have been to this area of a Peru a couple of times and many of the weavers from Chincheros are always dressed like this. Definitely when in Cusco or when potential customers are around, they wear the traditional outfits.
