All the bikes were great, I tried them all before I bought a GSX 1400 , NOW 24 years later the bike still runs great 1001,000 klms, it's air oil cooled and won't corrode out like the water cooled bikes ( honda 1300 is water cooled) it runs a 6 speed box ,back then Honda and only runs 5 speed. Has a bigger fuel tank 22 liter than the other bikes. There all fantastic bikes but in all honesty I think that the 1400 Suzuki is the pick of the litter. But I do also own a CB 1100 Honda 2010 model which is air oil cooled and a fantastic bike so I'm not just here knocking Honda, I'm not a big fan of water cooled bikes. Stay up right and enjoy riding what ever bike you ride, cheers mate andy from Australia 😊
The more simple the better. Its crazy to produce motorcycles with much power that need a lot of expensive electronics to control the bike. ABS is very good, but all kinds of ridemodi? And how does it perform after 20 years? Does it still work or need it expensive maintenance? The oldschool muscle bikes need skills of the driver, not of the electronics.
Good show,Servicing is a deciding factor for me and the fact just an end can will get another 15 bhp the bandit is muscle on the cheap. It's the valve adjustment that wins it for me where the others are all shims,a spanner and a screw driver and you're sorted I'm actually coming round to the idea of a MK2 version as it has the better 6 pot brakes on it. If I could have a carb'd 1250 that would be great,Injection is for cars not mike's,stuff the cretins in the EU they lie for a living!
