@@decimation9780 No, you seem to have misunderstood. The goron is Darunia's son, who is always named after whatever you named Link. So if the goron's name is Pepto-Bismol, then it's because Link was named Pepto-Bismol in the "save file"
Ganondorf tossing in the Gorons into Volvogias "hotpot" was probably the best thing i've seen in a long time. Absolute wackiness in every frame of that

This man accurately depicted the pure anxiety and frustration of the firewalls. I never laughed so hard lmfao. Today's always an automatic win when TM uploads.
Thank you! And I have help! The "original version" of Part 3 was half as long and was meant to be out mid-last month, but we decided to delay it and add more stuff to do the temple justice; @funymuny had extra Goron scene ideas (including the bit with Biggoron), and it was his idea to have the Cucco egg have a payoff with the boss fight, it was @Lollergator's idea to keep Link wearing the Goron Hat the entire time, and my lovely production assistant thought the fire maze room should be added, and with all that added then I came up with the "Volvagia cooking" scene. Those extra bits really brought it all together. It's funny, this was meant to be the shortest of all the parts and it ended up being longer than the Forest Temple.
3:03, Hold up... Is no one gonna point out the PEELED GORONS!?! I've watched this like 4 times and I'm only now noticing it. Impressively subtle detail (kinda harsh tho, haha) . Amazing animation. 👏 - 🐦

@@deadfall3223 Well, you don't actually kill it with the hookshot. You just use it to pull the core towards you and than you can kill it with your sword, bombs, hammer, or whatever. Always thought the hammer was too slow so I would use my sword.

There's an old official 4koma about the tunics: the joke for the goron tunic is that it's made of goron skin ("just kidding!" The salesman says as Link starts to freak out) and the joke for the zora tunic is that its a tarzan-style loincloth.

Re the name Biggoron, that's a bit of wordplay in Japanese. But to work, the pun requires that cultural and linguistic context to make sense. In English it just sounds really dumb doesn't it. "Goron" is a play on the onomatopoeia "goron goron", the sound of something heavy rolling around. So the name of the Goron race is a pun that describes what they do, roll around like rocks. His Japanese name, Daigoron, literally means "big goron", but it also sounds like the real-life name Daigorou, which makes him seem like an ordinary guy. In Japanese, that's where the joke is. He's a giant mountain-sized creature living in this fantasy world, but has a normal name like he's a guy you'd meet in the street, which also describes exactly what he is. All that definitely got lost in translation.
1:18 The acorn rolling through Link and erasing a circle off of him like you just tapped a singular erase in an art program got me more than I'd like to admit.
That "ugh" right after "Ganondorf took all the dragon-" makes me feel like that exact line flub happened so many times that eventually everybody just decided to roll with it because they wanted to go home and I love it.
"Ganondorf took all the dragon-" "ugh" "Took all of the dragons to feed to the Gorons" Link & Navi: ??? "Ganondorf took all the Gorons to the Fire Temple to feed the DRAGON!"
I was born in 94 , I can honestly say these videos are OVERLY hilarious for people who grew up playing this game before the RUclips era . all the errors that link makes are the same errors we all made on our first run through apparently ...these videos are gold an definitely appreciated. great work
link constantly and tirelessly getting owned every second that he’s not in a cutscene (and sometimes even when he is) is probably my favourite part of these videos
In the ocarina of time manga Volvagia was actually a baby dragon Link found but Ganon corrupted him during the time Link was asleep. When Link killed Volvagia the dragon remembered him as it died. So this feels like a mix
I cant wait until Sheik is revealed to be Zelda and Link has to deal with the fact that he sliced her in EVERY. SINGLE. VIDEO. (Hopefully in a mini montage) so she just takes the master sword and slices him
Really love the easter eggs and attention to detail in the series. I just realized that in the very first part the Great Deku tells Navi to get the pepto bismol, and in this part the goron introduces himself as that name. God, I love all the hidden stuff and callbacks.
I have a feeling this series is going make the water temple seem enjoyable, and by enjoyable I mean us watching Link getting destroyed by a swimming pool.
Aight I loved the added little bit with Biggoron to explain why he needed Eye Drops. Nailed it as always, it's always the level of respect you give to these parodies that makes them so much better.
@@IkanaMaskedMan I don’t think so, in the game they just walk happily off screen but in a couple cases there really is no feasible place for them to walk to
I just love every detail in this, both overt and subtle. I love the running gag of Link accidentally murdering Sheik every time he shows up. I love that the Goron City theme is Walk the Dinosaur, and the Chamber of Sages theme is Hedwig's Theme. I love that the Torch Slug turned out to be a Slugma. I love how the only reason Link is still alive is because Navi keeps resurrecting him. I love that Volvagia's scream is a Diablos roar. I'm watching this in the middle of the night so I had to physically restrain myself from cackling like a maniac at it.
@@sampsqwantch4612 please don't start that. I don't want all the replies to turn into what is basically one of the most hot button conflicts in the Zelda fandom. I was originally going to use "they" to refer to Sheik but I was afraid someone would bash me for being "politically correct" but I also knew that if I said "her" someone would tell me "no Sheik is a guy." So I thought the most reasonable conclusion would be to use "he" because Sheik is referred to that way for most of the game. But nope. Guess there's no way to avoid conflict, because if I just refuse to use pronouns for Sheik I'll be corrected on my English usage.
Sheik is a woman. I really can't believe that there are people that ever though she was a man. And I also wanted to attack her back then, she just appears out of nowhere behind me.
In the game, Sheik is believed to be a man. But the plot twist is that she was Zelda the entire time. Zelda does not have issues with her identity. She dressed as Sheik so she could hide. Sheik is and always has been female.

It's funny, this was meant to be the shortest of all the parts and it ended up being longer than the Forest Temple.

i never actually killed it with the hookshot lol. i used bombs, then once i had the megaton hammer i used that. pretty effective if you time it right.
