  • legacy sports puma wildcat pps 50.Firing my new puma wildcat pps50 for function test only. In defense of blackdog drum magazine,this appears to be failure to eject and not failure to feed.I
    Used CCI hv round nose in this test. I'll try a couple other brands and see if they feed more reliably.

    @Unxsld The mount comes with the rifle. The scope is just a cheap BSA 4power.

    My experience w/this rifle is that it gets very dirty very fast... 22LR is cheap and fun but it chomps and slivers tiny bits of lead and steel quickly. I've use the Nickel casings (at 1650FPS Ha!) but then I had crippling mag issues. I love this lil rifle, .22 is inexpensive for playtime, the sound doesn't frighten the neighbors too much so I can shoot more often closer to home. I just want it to feel better, it was a good friend of mine

    @TheAxeGrinder100 well now that ive shot several hundred rounds thru it. after i took it completely apart,it shot very reliably. its been a blast. if i use cci hv solids,it fires all fifty without a hitch.

    @mgd777 well its at least good to know the S&W mp 15/22 is a good gun. its way up there on the list of guns i just gotta have! :) this puma actually started shooting good when i tokk it aprt and really gave it a good cleaning. i found a tiny sliver of metal under the extractor claw.the failure to eject was because of that little speck of metal the claw couldnt grab trhe round and pull it out of the chamber. i hope your problems are resolved soon. hate to spend money on junk!!!

    To @AgentGulo
    The problem is in the manual shows that you need to use 22lr above 1300fps. I did use Mini Mags and I had a jam the first 20 rounds. And the Mini Mags are below 1300fps. I hope my comments will help people. Thank you bctruck for posting and answering my questions. Go on trucking.

    That BlackDog magazine worked perfectly for me... flawlessly. I replaced it with a MarStar steel drum just for aesthetics of the rifle, to make it resemble a more historical firearm. Had probs ever since. But its b/c the first thing I did was disassemble the drum. I just purchd two more and they're on their way. I'll post how they preform as soon they arrive

    @AgentGulo That's such a silly comment I don't even know how to reply.

    The CCI Stinger rounds operate at 1650FPS, the cartridge is made of Nickel and the rds themselves are 32grain. About $6.50/fifty rds is worth it, that's cheap as hell and makes this lil rifle a gem.

  • @bctruck
    @bctruck  12 лет назад

    @gardee37rn yeah! works great. its a little hard to properly clean but i only strip it now every couple thousand rounds. very seldom have and misfires jams or fail to feeds. i love it and its way more accurate than my colt ar-15/22 by umarex. im actually very dissapointed in that one.

    would you believe ive lost nearly 100 pounds since i did this vid? im still a fat guy but only about 60 pounds overweight now and working slow;ly on losing that. i got the mags to work perfectly. had a blast with the gun, then sold it to buy another toy.

    urbana! hey howzit bro? im gonna load another vid later tonight. i finally found a round that the drum mag likes. it fired all 50 rounds without a hitch. i just got off the phone with blackdog and ordered another drum mag, this is gonna be to much fun. yeah i thought i would add the "fat" disclaimer. some people just go from channel to channel trying to insult people. i almost closed my account a couple times .its gets kinda old.

    @AgentGulo It's just a .22? What the he'll does that mean? Your saying reliability and accuracy arent important in small callibers?what a silly thing to say!then you say that .22,s have "always had issues with failure to fire". That's complete nonsense. Failure to fire is almost always the fault of the rifle or pistol and almost never the fault of the .22 bullet. If .22,have always had failure to fire issues than it would not be the weapon of choice for assassins and Mossad.

    I like this rifle. I already went thru 700 rounds in 2 months. I only had 7 jams. Most of the jams was the first 100 rounds. And then the next 200 rounds I had about 3 jams. I am using Winchester Super X high velocity (1330 fps) box 100 rds is $6.00 at Walmart and CCI Stinger (1640 fps) box 50 rds $7.00 also at Walmart. If not at Chinamart then go to ableammo.com As for the scope rail I am using UTG 1-Inch High 13-slot Hi-profile Full Size Riser Mount at Amazon $12 for 22lr and air

    @peptopro17 I put a front grip on a .22 for the same reason I put chrome on my Harley,it looks cool,it's fun,and I can afford it. I went to your channel by the way. Do you realize you have absolutely nothing to offer the RUclips community except uploads of other people's hard work?
