After 4 years of interacting remotely with @DavidSriracha on the trials and tribulations of creating and editing RUclips videos, I finally got a chance to meet him in person in his hometown of Houston Texas. And what better place to meet up than at the buffet! But this isn't just any buffet, I believe this is America's Biggest and Best Vietnamese Buffet! I guess the saying rings true: Everything is bigger in Texas.
We got the chance to dine at the Kim Son Buffet and it certainly met up to it's expectations for authentic Vietnamese cuisine and massive portions of meats and seafood at that! It was exactly as portrayed in David's videos and being there in person just made it all that better. Great food and even better people; the servers and hosts were certainly gracious and exemplified the term southern hospitality. Whether it was the Cajun crawfish, fire grilled blue crabs & shrimp, or the freshly prepared noodles and street food, you are sure to get a tasty and large portion!

I was laughing so much when they kept giving you so much food when you were asking for "just one". That place looks fantastic!!! You definitely were able to eat ALOT! I love your videos. Your always so kind❤
Thank you so much Nicole! The servers were definitely very generous with their portions, and I don't think we have ever been this full before... Sad to say that we were not able to finish some of the noodles at the end, but it was very good.

I use to work at Kim Son. Most of the workers don't really understand English that well which is why when you kept saying only 1, they gave you so much more. But they are super nice though! Definitely one of the best buffets around in Houston! Great Video Tim =)

Been waiting for this collab. I love David’s videos also. It’s so funny how you would say “just one” but they give more. It’s kind of hard when someone serves you because you’ll get more full so you might not be able to try everything and you don’t want to waste food. But yes they are so generous!♥️

This place certainly did not disappoint, and I found this from David sriracha's video. It's probably the most Vietnamese dishes I've ever had, and so many new dishes to try.

Glad you had the chance to try Kim Son buffet. I live in Houston, and have been there many times. The food is always good, and the noodle bar is my favorite. I try not to go often, like only once a month, because I tend to overstuff myself, lol
Really enjoyed Houston very much Tom! Such a great city and the people are fantastic! The street food and noddle station were definitely the favourites! We don't get those types of dishes here so it was a real treat! And yes, we certainly overstuffed ourselves that night 😀

Ohhh.. quite excited to hear about your visit and definitely check this place out (and check there site because they offer the crawfish only on Fridays at the time I was there). There's also a really great Mexican place called Xochi that offers one of the best Mexican brunch buffets on Sundays. Wishing you a great visit and watch out for the humidity!
