That BBQ Sandwich you made looked so good. The crawfish 🦞 and the shrimp and lobster 🦞 looked so delicious as well
Had this last month in Houston and the Drunken Lobster is literally one of the best Asian Fusion dishes I’ve ever had. Im dreaming about my next trip there.

I knew I recognized LA Crawfish! We have 4 locations in San Antonio and my location already knows, TRIPLE the amount of crawfish in that pho when I pull up hahahaha.

If i'm not mistaken, the 'godly' in the godly fried rice is not actually self aggrandizement, but a reference to the basil (holy basil) in the dish

I remember my first time having crawfish sitting on a dish. I was like 6 or 7 and we were at a restaurant at a covention center. I got spinach with potatoes and egg and they had put a crawfish on it, I don't know why. I asked my dad to eat it bc "I don't want my food looking at me" xD nowadays I would just eat it myself

The garnished clams in their shell AND the delightful looking little scallops looked utterly divine. So much so that I had to hold back from licking my screen 😂 much love from the UK 🇬🇧

The barbecue and the crayfish pho are my favourites, with the lobster noodles the runner up, l envy those of you guys in Houston living close

Truth BBQ is a couple streets over from Henderson General and they are #3 on the Texas top 50 list. Gotta hit them up next time you in town

i missed crawfish pho back near where i live in socal but they shut down i like it alot
I was at dinner in London about 20 years ago when I made the mistake of calling HERBS…ERBS like Mike is doing. Correction came immediate when my Brit friends pointed out the H isn’t silent. Basically said, “ you know it’s got an f***in H init don’t you yank”? Been saying Herb ever since.
Should have told them there is no f in lieutenant either 😂
They're wrong. The H was silent in British English until the 19th century. North America retains the original pronunciation with a silent H, originally from French.

The thing I miss most about Houston is that the food scene is way better than Dallas' by far. I DON'T miss that insane, wretched humidity, mind you. Gotta get back to Houston for some food touring, for sure.

Am I the only one who loves seafood in almost all varieties ... but mudbugs just aren't to my taste? Lobster (any type), crab (blue, king, whatever), fish without exception, even conch or barnacles or mussels ... but not crawfish.
we used to eat a lot of them on the mining claim after dredging the river they'd come out and get scooped up, but getting the farmed ones in a restaurant never looks as good. Not much meat in there, its all shell
