It's just hilarious that Mike didn't stir his Thai ice tea and said it wasn't that sweet. We can all see that the sweeten condensed milk is in the bottom of the glass. 😂
@@d3neu it probably helps digestion because of the fibre in the condensed vegetable powers, which will be just as, if not more effective in their natural form - regular fruits and vegetables.
To be honest there's not much culinary insight from his videos. "Great umami" is his go to. There is definitely some selection as to which places he visits and I anticipate most have to be good for him to visit. So of course most if not like 95% of his comments are going to be good. Other channels offer more personality with being immersed in the culture. This is just a channel to see a guy eat good food and have us live vicariously. No hate. Just my opinion on why I continue to watch this channel (which I still enjoy). But it's not for the host's personality or commentary. Mostly for video of food around the world.
I think the whole point of Athletic Greens is that it's supposed to be more convenient compared to if you bought a bunch of vegetables and blend it in a blender.
Hanuman is in my hood. Definitely some bomb food. I had the wings and the massaman curry there. The last 2 places aren't LA. They're in Orange County, south of LA.
It’s modern Thai food, or Thai food serve in a “fine dining” way, it’s still Thai food, the main ingredients and main components is still the same, just different quality and different plating
there is a ayce hot pot and kbbq in Lafayette, Louisiana! They have projections of good content creators, you are featured a few times! it’s called First Hot Pot.
I lived in Iowa, LA, Shreveport, Bossier and Grand Isle. I can say that Lafayette has some of the best food though. I miss good smoked boudain, smoked sausage, proper gumbo and jambalaya . Thanks for the memories!
2:15 a plate with noodles for $15.50 when the last video i've saw in your channel featured an amazing buffet for that price and even less in other videos... just insane.
Those noodles and that pork katsu right up front looked so killer... Love how we so often get multiple excellent meals in one Mikey video! A lotta bang for your buck 😅
I think you should stir your drinks first before giving your review on it. Didn't stop to think that the white stuff clearly visible on the bottom might just actually be condensed milk? 😂
You’ve gotta try the lamb with a lemongrass turmeric and oyster sauce. Black pepper, and garlic salt, w/ fish sauce. Guaranteed to knock your socks off 🙏🏽
That dude is a snack hole!!! I got full just watching him eat all that food. I mean after after the crispy noodle dish that big bowl 13:35 of noodles mannnnn!!! Then he said I took a break 14:43 and went ate bottomless beef noodle soup!!!! I wish I could eat like that!!!😂😂😂😂
When I have been to Thai restaurants in the Midwest they are thin dehydrated shreds of chili peppers. I don’t know if that is what is authentic but it’s what they use here.
This man ordered a whole week worth of food at the 2nd Thai place he went to. All that food can literally last me a whole week, and damn all that food look sooooo damn good!!!
I like it when mike does korean food i guess cause i havent tried enough korean food places myself. I know this thai food and thai is usually always good.
Thai food is my favorite. Here in the Tacoma Seattle area we've lost some of the Thai restaurants to covid. I also love drunkin noodles. My favorites, fresh rolls, chicken satay, bamboo chicken. My favorite place sold, but he made this creamy cocoanut curry noodle soup that I've never found any where else. I miss them so much.
who knows atp he’ll say it’s a “custom” and respectful to the chef or whatever but he’ll continue to slurp noodles and say it needs hot (chili) oil that are from italy that don’t have that custom
@@macintoshhjball4686 I know it's a Japanese convention that slurping is an indication to the chef that he or she's food is good. China probably has something similar.
Starting to feel like nothing is genuine with this guy hardly anymore cause, every dish he eats, he describes it with such a limited food comeback vocabulary.
I mean what kind of words you want him to use? I bet if he starts to use more sophisticated words, someone’s going to say he’s pretentious. Can’t win with you people.

Mikey Chen, everything he has, is the best, he’s ever had 😅
It's just hilarious that Mike didn't stir his Thai ice tea and said it wasn't that sweet. We can all see that the sweeten condensed milk is in the bottom of the glass. 😂
LMAO that was my only thought when i saw that. 😂
I just wonder if that ag1 helps digest and eat all the food or does it make him feel better? Just an honest question.
@@d3neu it probably helps digestion because of the fibre in the condensed vegetable powers, which will be just as, if not more effective in their natural form - regular fruits and vegetables.
Immediately saw that lol. Also noticed a lot of his vids when trying drinks he rarely mixes them before taking a sip and it always bothered me.

My friend is the owner at Hanuman! The best pad see ew I’ve ever had. And their is this lemonade with butterfly pea. It’s so good.
damn that thai restaurant looks so good!!!
the beef noodles omg!!! look so good!!
Love your LA vids!! Would love to see a US road trip trying different food and more flight reviews!
Stank
I love beef noodle soup. The version at Noodle Asia at the Venetian in Vegas is amazing. If I could get a gallon of the broth, I’d drink it every day…
oh and never come to australia
If Ag1 is complete why do you need a separate vitamin d supplement lol
I've also heard they use cheap or inferior B12 and Vit C.
I think the whole point of Athletic Greens is that it's supposed to be more convenient compared to if you bought a bunch of vegetables and blend it in a blender.
that double fried chicken was raw man
The drama….love it

6:37 That's not Thai food
🤣🤣🤣I'm like trying to...my mom is Thai, she cooks all kinds of Thai food. She took one look, said "that's not Thai food." and walked away.
@@micaylabirondo836 and Ceviche is not Thai
That fried chicken looked mouthgasm good
Can you bring back scary story time?
As a thai person, all of those "Thai Food" doesn't look Thai at all, or at least not in term of authenticity..
But I'd like to give it a try still.
Looks to be more thai inspired fusion.
It’s modern Thai food, or Thai food serve in a “fine dining” way, it’s still Thai food, the main ingredients and main components is still the same, just different quality and different plating
Hey Mike, long time watcher. I've seen many videos of you in LA but I'd love to see a San Diego series!
oh that spicy giant rib look so good! I want to try it myself ...
Fun Fact: Did you know that if you combined the length of every Noodle that Mike Chen has ever eaten, you could get to Neptune and back! 😂😂
Nah id say it would be farther

There’s absolutely no way that beef rib noodle soup is $14.99
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Must be that Wagyu Beef.
Also that twice fried 6 peice chicken wing for 20$ 🤮
You get free refills that's why it's expensive
I see there’s a misunderstanding. That’s extremely cheap for what you get.

Mike you need to make more videos with Steven Lim & the try guys

No matter what time of day it is or if I've already eaten, as soon as I watch one of Mikey's videos I get hungry 😂
All that food looked tasty. That beef noodle soup tho! And the price is sooo good
What park is that your at? That's a nice set of bar equipment. In LA?
Delicious
AG1?
Hi Mike, we're in Singapore in Sept, any advice on the best buffet? Looking for seafood, but we are there midweek, so no weekend extravaganza!

it's marketing garbage, most people don't need to take vitamins
Vid starts @ 1:56
bro irvine california??? i gotta go to He's Noodle Zone now
Watching Mike Chen try to slurp noodles is the funniest thing I’ve seen today. Otherwise good stuff.
I would love to see $ price comparison of the same dishes in Thailand
It’s way lower in Thailand but their incomes are way lower
I don’t think I have ever heard Mike give any dish a double Love before
what was the adress of the thai place you went to?
I've been to all of these places and they are indeed as good as Mike says. Love the Southern California content!
Corn says see you tomorrow!

Unlimited beef soup....AKA flavored water...I'll pass....you're funny

Had to dig into comments to see this is in Louisiana.
The food looks delicious.
Talk about taking a liberty. It's a big no from me. Thai?, Japanese? Beef noodle?
You need to try the BBQ restaurant that heb has inside them
Every time Mike slurps his noodles I can almost taste the noodles and soup. 😂
You had me at unlimited ..It all looks delicious love it Mikey ..x❤️🥰💕
2:29 bounciest, juiciest, noodles 🍜 🥢
me a fillipino who always eaten chicken wings with sticky rice via rice cooker lmao
Next time you're in LA and want to try some Sri Lankan food, give me a call! 😄 I don't know if I've seen you do a video about that yet!
Lamb was over cooked…
The lamb looks over cooked to me
dude pls mix your drinks your thai tea review was not good cause you didn’t mix it lol
The lamb was so over cooked it was grey… but the sauce looked delicious tho
What is the red thinly sliced items on many of these dishes?
When I have been to Thai restaurants in the Midwest they are thin dehydrated shreds of chili peppers. I don’t know if that is what is authentic but it’s what they use here.
Saffron it’s expensive
I am now craving this!

No it can't
Imagine getting paid to eat some of the best food in the world,,,who wouldn't wanna do that😛😋
The Thai food looks fantastic😁😁
I hope you went to Orobae round the corner from He's Noodle Zone! Best oolong milk tea 🤤🤤🤤

Ag1 is a scam. Get to the video already.
97€ want me to charge 😂😂 stay there please 😂😂
That lamb was insanely overcooked.
Looks sooo good! 😁😭😍
I go to Menya Tiger all the time my friends think I’m weird but now I feel validated
The condensed milk is at the bottom of the glass
This is not authentic foods. $21 for a drumstick, and a portion of pasta with sauce.🤣🤣🤣
Mike has eaten more in 1 month than I have in a year
🤣🤣😂😂😅😅
I wonder if Mikey Chen should start giving back to the community by opening up Food Banks
I like it when mike does korean food i guess cause i havent tried enough korean food places myself. I know this thai food and thai is usually always good.
That Khao soi looks delicious!
That tiger sauce filet mignon made me was to cry at how good it looked
Are you going to mention the fact is like so much saffron on there that is so expensive and hard together saffron is expensive
Not saffron it thin sliced chilli SE asians don't cook with saffron lol

Dear Mike,
I won't ever buy AG1.
Thanks.
Everything "melts in your mouth". His descriptions are lazy.
Pretentious
I can't believe you payed 15$ for that small bowl🤦♂️🙄
Now again i hungry as hell.
That beef noodle soup looked delicious. I would like to travel around and try the different dishes.
How can you eat so much in one ne seating??? What’s your secret. I’d barf from all the food you order and actually eat every bit of the meal
😂.
I have also been watching you since this channel js started, I hope the best for you.🙏🙏
21$ yeah no lol 😂
can't believe i didn't notice it was uploaded just now. Greetings from Chile. Enjoying this for so many years now
I'm glad to see that he didn't get Pad Thai. In Thailand it's referred to as children's food because it is so mild.

So why watch ?
This video is a lie! Nobody has beef ribs.
I’m surprised you don’t like fruit that much - it’s nature’s candy!
Thai Iced Coffee is better!
It looks like they put saffron on everything but Mike never mentions it.
Its thin chili strands 😊

$21 for a chicken noodle dish!? I don't care how good that is, that is sooooo expensive!

Was the unlimited noodles in Rowland heights?
It's in Irvine
